I was very pleased with my carpet buying experience at Carpeteria, largely because Sean Moran is perhaps one of the most lovely salespeople I've ever interacted with. In addition to his kind demeanor and sharp wit, his industry knowledge helped us narrow down our selection in what seemed like an infinite amount of flooring options. Any time I need new flooring in the future, I will surely be reaching out to Sean as an industry expert I can trust.

Sean was the best thing to happen to us! Not only did he walk us through selection but he also guided us through all the ups-and-downs of pulling out 40 year old flooring on a slab foundation. We were not yet in San Diego when his crew pulled up the flooring and found a sizable crack in the foundation. He acted as our eyes and ears and met the contractors who came in to estimate repair costs and while they repaired the foundation. He keep an eye on the house in the weeks before we moved and sent us updates. He was a godsend!

We love our new carpet & working with Sean was pleasant. The carpet is not as cat-proof as we had hoped but something you don't know til you actually have it in your home. There was two small issues. They didn't re-assemble our bed back correctly and left a few screws and parts (which we have no idea where they go). Also, the carpet was installed too close to a pocket door such that the door would not slide out. The crew came back 3 weeks later to fix it. They trimmed the carpet back & needed to re-install a small patch of Marmoleum next to the pocket door. They finished very quickly so my husband asked "done already?" They commented "we are professionals". The day after they left the Marmoleum warped upwards. They did not install it properly & only applied adhesive around perimeter of each Marmoleum plank. My husband had to buy the tools he needed to re-do it himself!

Sean, at the Morena Blvd. store, was great. they had a good selection of carpets , provided samples, and the ordering and installation went fine. We are very happy with the carpet and with the company.

Stumbled upon Carpet 1 and Manager Sean Moran looking for Lee's Carpet. I'm so glad I did. The store had a large selection of carpet choices and Sean was a joy to work with. He was knowledgeable about his products and very accommodating with me when it came to the many carpet samples I needed to make my final selection. The installation went smoothly and my install team were meticulous and professional. As you can see, I unequivocally recommend Carpet 1 and working with Sean.

Second time using CarpetOne. Jack is wonderful, he is service oriented and so kind. We had a small job, and still got exceptional service. We had tile laid in a small entry area from our ground level garage and carpet replaced in a large storage closet and 2 sets of stairs, leading from garage entry to main floor, we had a water heater leak. They have the best installers!!!! They are perfectionists and seasoned professionals who have pride in their craft, they go above and beyond and it matters. We are loyal customers. Details matter.

Wow, working with Carpeteria was such a great experience! It was the 3rd spot I had went to in my carpet shopping journey and I could not recommend this place any more! I worked with Jack (Ara Bodikian) and this man is so knowledgeable and dedicated to what he does. He welcomed me into the store with a big smile and excellent customer service, taking the time to show me the lay of the land and then allow me the time to browse to see what styles I liked the best. I had made selections and within a day Jack had sent me pricing and the option to have measurements taken to get an accurate picture of pricing. He brought over a variety of the selects so I could see what they would look like in person in my home and was able to advise me on which carpet would work best for my budget and for the value.That same day, Jack sent me a quote and availability on what I wanted to see and we made a decision to go forward with Carpeteria. Their prices are competitive, their materials are of the highest quality and their customer service is second to none. We already have our carpet ordered and install/demolition begins next week. I can’t wait to have our new carpets put in!! Thank you for making this such an easy, seamless and pleasurable transaction!

Carpeteria installer Tino came to our home and installed new carpet to our stairway as our carpet on the stairway was worn. Tino did an exceptional job on our stairway and his customer service was excellent. If we need carpet flooring in the future I will contact Carpeteria and ask for Tino to do the installing.....thanks also to salesman Mr. Sean Moran for his recommendation for type carpet to install on stairway. Mr. Moran was very nice and showed exceptional customer service.......?

Jon was absolutely the best. From the very beginning I knew we could trust him to handle our flooring needs. We were in another state as the job was started & finished and Jon sent us photos from beginning to end. He handled numerous other tasks that we sort of tossed at him.. letting other contractors & cleaners in & locking up after them... The floors look amazing. I definitely recommend this company and if you can work with Jon, please do. You won't regret it. Jon.... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!! You're the best!!!

God watched over me when he directed me to go with Jack Bodikian. I can not say enough GOOD about this man. & his crew. His direction, professionalism and knowledge of the products & overseeing every minute of the floor installers to carpet installers to every question and concern I had, was impeccable. His installers Jose, and the others were so respectful and professional. Jose calmed me down when I would see imperfections. He explained that they were not finished products & set me at ease. I got quotes from different companies and even thou they were less than Carpeteria I chose Carpeteria because Jack exhibited a knowledge and professionalism that others did not. Even Ursula at the office was great. I trusted Jack from the beginning and knew if I paid a little more I would get what I payed for. I will recommend this company to all my neighbors and friends. My sister steered me to them as she had used them before and was thrilled... They need more than 5 Stars. Thank You Jose, his crew and all the others that participated in my project .

Shawn Delaney just hung up on me for communicating to him why we decided to go with another company to complete our flooring needs. Our insurance company recommended Carpeteria and at first, I had a very lovely experience working with Shawn. He scheduled an appointment to come out to see us quickly and arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable about our carpet and their products and said he would get back in contact to move things down the road to completion. I spoke to him on the 14th of April 2022 and he stated he would complete his estimate and get it out to the general contractor on Friday the 15th. In this conversation I communicated to him I was really looking to expedite things as much as possible and asked him if there was anything I could do to help things along. I asked specifically if we can put a deposit down or order the carpet immediately while the insurance company reviews the estimate and so on. He said no. I told him I would personally guarantee the whole project cost if we could just move quickly to get things done. He said no. He said there is a process for these things and we can't do anything to make things go any quicker. Fiar enough, I understood and was very respectful of his processes and policies. He explained once he sends the estimate to the GC, the insurance company will take 2-3 days to review and approve his estimate, then he can order the carpet that comes on a slow truck from Georga which can take 4-5 days. Then once the carpet gets to them they can schedule our installation which would likely be 1-2 weeks after that. If you add the time up we were at minimum 2-3 weeks out from getting the carpet installed. No problem, totally understandable. However, throughout this conversation, Shawn was cavalier and sloughed off my concerns and suggestions as crankery. There was NO empathy or initiative taken on the call to communicate he would do anything to help or make things go any quicker or even remotely pretend to care that we were so desperate to have our home restored to proper working order. He simply could not care less and was simply hiding behind the bureaucratic nightmare that is working with insurance companies and subcontractors. Shawn Delaney called me today, April 18th, 2022 at 2:04 pm to let me know he was going to submit the estimate to the general contractor today who would then send the estimate to the insurance company. I told him I thought this was going to get done on Friday, but he did not respond. I then let him know we were going with another company as I didn't leave our previous conversation with the confidence he understood our concerns or cared even a little bit. He then stated we were making a big mistake and that we should reconsider going with him etc, etc. I told him no and explained how I felt after our conversation outlining the above comments. He didn't like the feedback and hung up. I did not raise my voice or use profanity to communicate my distaste for his inability to empathize with me on our previous call. He could not handle the feedback and chose to hang up rather than face up to his insensibility and complete oversight of manners on our previous call. I'm sure he's a good guy, I liked him at first but when things got tough he simply hung up on me and ran away.

Sean was SO helpful and there were better, more contemporary options than the Coles across the street. Made our carpet purchase here rather than the 2 Coles we visited. And, it’s Cooperatively owned so feels like you’re supporting a small /local fam business :)

We needed to replace carpeting in our sunroom. We went to a number of businesses and then to Carpeteria Carpet One. As soon as we entered, Ara (Jack) Bodikian, greeted us and asked how he could help us. He was very helpful, patiently and eventually showed us carpet that we liked, and found a sale price that applied. He was friendly, very professional, and really worked to earn our business. He followed up after the sale to make sure we were satisfied and then Ursula called us to schedule the installation. She called again the day before installation to confirm. The installation went well and the installer was on time, friendly, and professional. We are very pleased with our new carpet.We had a very pleasant experience with Carpeteria and will use them again.
