This store, back a few years with the original owners, was the place to get pirate stuff. You could buy pirate trinkets, pirate shirts, flags, hats, weapons of all kinds, books. Now with these owners, it has gone way down hill. All they are selling are t-shirts with pirates written on them. This store should change its name. It's a rip off

This place has absolutely no customer service they try to blame paying customers when something has a stain on it with no proof. Just another business taking advantage of the little guy.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Terrible service and the woman working there was incredibly rude. I went in to buy a shirt, and I tried one on but the neck was stretched out. I tried to take another one in the same size but the woman wouldn’t let me “because of the pandemic.” Afterwards I went to try and exchange and she asked me “if I could read” in reference to my receipt. She did end up letting me switch the shirt after me arguing for awhile. She was so incredibly rude and unprofessional. Please do not shop here, there are so many other, better places to get t-shirts/sweatshirts/souvenirs at Seaport Village.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Absolutely terrible service. The woman running this store was incredibly rude to me and my sister. She insisted I buy a shirt that had a stretched out top that I tried on "because of the pandemic" and would not let me take another one in the same size. I went back in to exchange and she took my receipt and asked me "if I could read." So incredibly rude please do not shop here!!!!

My 8 year old used her own money to buy a ring from here. Within minutes the dolphin had broken off. You can tell it was all rusted where the dolphin was connected to the ring. We went right back and asked if we could get a new one. We were told “no that that owner does not return things broken once it leaves the store.” So apparently they knew they sell junk items. The ring was only $5 but that isn’t even the point of it. They sold a rusty dud and refuse to stand behind it. Thankfully another store in Seaport Village made it up to my daughter when they didn’t even have to!

I returned to San Diego this year, my favorite city! I stopped here at Captain's Cove and I saw a shirt I just loved. I didn't buy it at the time, but when I got home I decided to buy it over the phone. When I called I spoke to Asma. She took care of my order and even wrapped it up in cute nautical paper for me! I received it just a few days later. I was very happy with my purchase and will return there next year in person. They also have really cool pirates up near the ceiling that are fun to get a photo of. I recommend this store for souvenirs when you are in Seaport Village!

This shop is a wonderful quaint place located in this nice shopping center. Poshe was the employee there, what a delightful man to talk to. This store is loaded with nice Souvenirs. Love the music this place played.

This place is a RIP off. They charged my card more than my receipt and tried to give me the run around when I called to ask why they charged me the wrong amount. This place is overpriced and has poor quality products. Dont waste your time here. Worthless place that obviously has employees giving it 4 stars because this place isnt worth 1 star.
