Brian is such a unique tax advisor because of his deep understanding of tax laws and small business objectives, combined with his ability to translate all the complicated tax/accounting terms into a language I can comprehend. I have been working with Brian Cain since 2014 for my small business and personal tax prep and I can not recommend him highly enough. He has a very logical approach and has no problem explaining any unfamiliar concepts quickly and easily so everything moves forward quickly and efficiently even though my company has a very complicated business model. Brian is the best and I have referred 5-6 people high net-worth people over the years who still use him to this day.

Two years in a row they made mistakes on my return. The first year cost a penalty, which they covered, as they should. Will find another Accounting firm.

I hired Cain Advisory Group for my small business's accounting and payroll needs. I was supposed to receive a report with my books and P+L statements, etc. at the end of each month. 2 months went by and I never received anything (even though I gave their team everything they needed, and in a prompt manner). Each time I inquired, I was told by Brian and his staff that they were still working on my account.After becoming a client, we had 1 meeting and nothing was accomplished because the bookkeeper never finished the work in time so our 'tax planning meeting' was all based on guesstimates and no actual data. Enough was enough and I decided to cancel the service just shy of 2 months as I never received a report.I was very professional in my cancellation and politely requested a partial refund of services due to the fact they virtually did nothing for me and kept stringing me along with timelines. Not only did Brian Cain not 'work with me' on a partial refund, he became very defensive and childish on our phone call and hung up on me. (I was not rude at all and was simply looking for a solution to get Some of my money back due to services not being rendered). He is supposedly a lawyer too; I can't imagine someone so unprofessional and immature representing me.I gave Brian one more chance via e-mail to try to salvage his foul-up, but he did not apologize and he did not show any give on me receiving a partial refund even though I was clearly not happy and his team did not deliver the services I pre-paid for.So I am now amidst a dispute with my credit card company and wanted to make sure I let others know to beware of this sneaky guy. To top it off, his office is filthy and he did not think to clean off his guest chair before the meeting - there were crumbs and all sorts of particles on the chair - disgusting!
