Great gym in North Park. Unfortunately I was relocated for work and cancelled my membership, otherwise this would be my spot. Starting my fitness journey, I was a bit intimidated and nervous about the whole process, but the guys at the front were always so nice and motivating. This gym has everything you need plus space on the side to do your own body weight workouts/ sled pushes/ etc. Easy to sign up, no contract, and very affordable.

Yes it's cheap at less than $30 a month, but there is zero maintenance going into the equipment, restrooms, or floors other than restocking the paper towels and spray. My biggest gripe is that almost every piece of padding needs upholstery replaced, knobs are missing, etc. Also they could choose better pieces of equipment, like why is there 5 total cable/plate loaded machines for shoulder press but only one combo ab/adduction. It's clear they stocked this gym with a bunch of second hand equipment that was already on its final legs but won't replace them.

I have tried calling in to cancel my membership for months. I do not live in the area anymore and no one EVER seems to be available to answer a call. Because of this I am getting charged for a gym I cannot access. The staff is probably too busy chatting or on their phone as usual. My money is being stolen and the owner isn't doing anything about his staff.

Needs some updated equipment, but overall a great gym.

Plenty of gym equipment for a low price. Only took 2 stars away for lack of cleanliness and the forever broken fans in the cardio area. It gets very hot in summer. Other than that, good value!

Front desk guys are RUDE. Always with a attitude and don’t make you feel welcomed. As well they are never open, They never answer calls. I dropped by to check and they were in the front just talking and not working. Was thinking of signing up but after calling and calling and no answer no thanks, No AC. Equipment is so old they make sound. No help inform desk. Not much information they give. Not professional in giving prices or answering phone like a GOOD business.

I was a member here for a few months. Then I had to cancel in May due to injury. I spoke to the guy at the front desk who said he'd take care of the cancellation. I've been charged every month since then and it's November. I've had to dispute a charge from them every month and they NEVER answer the phone. Finally, I thought since my credit card blocked them the transations had stopped, but now they're trying to charge me a different amount to get around the credit card block. It's like trying to break up with a crazy ex gf who won't let you leave.

Good gym if you're in the University Heights area, don't wanna spend too much, and know what you're doing in the gym already. They have all the equipment you need but some of it is kind of janky so I wouldn't recommend it to beginners. Most of the weight plates are mismatched and never put back in any order so it can make things overwhelming for someone who's new to the gym. Also quite a few bros on the sauce so it can be a bit intimidating depending on the time of day. But overall pretty chill. It's pretty good for barbell and dumbbell work, even for very strong people. Pretty good plate loaded machines as well. There's lots of nice leg equipment in the cake factory room but it's off limits to normal gym users. Would be nice to replace the first generation hip thruster on the main gym floor at least. No AC but that's pretty standard for gyms in San Diego and keeps it from getting too packed in the summer in my opinion.

For $22 bucks a month, this gym is great. Plenty of equipment, respectful staff, relatively clean, and airflow isn't bad. Stop complaining and start working out y'all. ??

I've been to almost every gym in SanDiego. This one never fails. Great people, consistent service, good energy and always clean.

Absolutely love this spot! It’s never too packed, great choice of machines and spacious environment. I personally love the outside area when I want to be lowkey (lol) + they offer personal training classes too!

Best gym in all of San Diego! I can’t tell you how wonderful the people are here, when I first started my fitness journey I had no clue how to do certain exercises and I could just ask anyone here and they’d just drop what they were doing and show me. Few years later, we would come in and drop personal records on lifts! I wouldn’t be where I am without the people and the spirit of this gym. If you’re reading this Sean, you’ve made this not only an awesome place to workout, but a wonderful community in Northpark San Diego! Much love!
