I had a terrible customer support experience in this franchise store. Just use the Boost Mobile website or another store if you want to get a plan there.I went there to purchase a SIM card and a plan. The lady there told me that I could buy a SIM card from her and activate it online myself. I was told that there are no refunds. However, I could not activate the SIM card online. After several attempts I contacted the chat support on the boost mobile website, who also could not help and referred me to their telephone hotline. They also couldn‘t activate the card and and I was told to ask the salesperson for a replacement card or further assistance and that I should contact the telephone support again, should she refuse to help.I spent a total of 75 minutes of texting and talking to their support that day.Back at the retail store, she refused to replace the SIM card with a working one and - as expected- did not offer a refund as an alternative. The only option she gave me was to help if I pay a $ 30 activation fee. Ironically, the receipt for my SIM card stated that activation fees are also not refundable. It felt like their was a good chance that instead of paying $ 10 for a product not working as promised, I would have paid a total of $ 40 for a product not working as promised, if I had accepted her offer to „help“. I feel like the victim of a ruthless scam.As the one-way trip to the store took me 30 min and cost me $ 2,50, I wasted another 2 h and $ 10 on top of the price of the SIM card and the time lost contacting support.When I called the support again, they were unable to help with my problem with the useless SIM card and could only offer me to buy a SIM card and plan online, which I ended up doing. This worked fine, but the money wasted on the previous SIM card and the bus tickets, as well as my time are irretrievably lost.

I popped in to upgrade my phone to a 5G chip. Fernanda was helping a customer, but took a moment to look my way with a welcoming energy and presence. The customer she was helping was very angry about What's App and IMO not working correctly on her phone (obviously not Boost's fault). Fernanda had the patience of a saint and tried to explain in many ways, and even tried some successful test calls with the store phone. She also strategically injected a Q directed at me while the angry customer was fiddling with her device. She asked me what I needed help with, showing an unspoken consideration for the fact that it would be a while before she got to me, and she wanted to make sure she wasn't wasting my time. She ultimately folded in helping me get the chip set up, with the other customer fiddling and complaining on the couch. Fernanda was truly a customer service rockstar, attending to everyone in her presence with care and positivity, even in the face of unnecessary negativity. She somehow managed to juggle it all - helping me and the man that came after me, while still offering help to the angry woman. I was very impressed.

The guy that works here is a rip off. I dont know his name but he's the guy with glasses that was working Monday Dec.20, 2021 around 5pm. I dropped my phone and could not make any calls so i replaced it with my old boost phone. I tried to activate it thru the boost website but i was getting an error. I had a zoom meeting at 6pm and needed my phone on. I took it to the boost on Logan Ave. Ask him if he could get my phone on i told him what happened and he replied "If I fix it it will cost you $25.00." I couldn't believe it. Ive been with boost for several years and this is how i get treated. I told him the last time i needed help the girl that works her helped me free of charge. He then said that his supervisor was on him. He was also the same guy that tried to sale a $10. Case for $40. Then said the lowest he could go was $20 and the wasn't even leather.I obviously left there and took it to the boost in National City where I was helped by Fernando free of charge.It took him less then 5 min to get my phone working. Plenty of time to check in for my mtg. The Customer service sucks at the southeast boost mobile. You can't expect to get the best deal and the customer support from that guy . He doesn't do anything for free even if you are a loyal boost customer. He needs more training in Customer service. Thank Fernando from National City for retaining me as a customer cause if i would of missed my meeting i would of definitely switch carriers.

I had been coming to this location for a long time i had to stop coming because the representative that was there would always be yelling and will be extremely rude when you would ask for help . I recently was brave enough to go in to purchase a new device hoping someone else would be there now there is two young women norma and mariana i have received great costumer service from both of them. Thank you so much girls

Terrible customer service! I'd recommend going to a different store. Unless your just buying a device, head to another one where they'll actually take the time to find an answer.
