I continue to shop Bonobos because the level of Customer Service and Product Knowledge is very high. The staff is always engaging and from years of experience, the quality is very good.On my last visit to to the UTC Westfield store I was helped by Andy Montano and Carissa Garcia, shout out to both of them for excellent listening skills and turning this into a better "fit". Congratulations, you earned your 5 Stars!

The customer service here is terrible. I walked in because I was looking for a shirt for an upcoming party. I walked into one of these stores in Scottsdale, AZ and had an amazing experience, the gentleman who helped me was great and I was hoping to get a similar experience. The people at THIS store told me they had no inventory and everything had to be ordered online. The shipping dates didnt work and so I decided to leave. The way out I told my fiancé "thats weird the guy in Scottsdale had multiple shirts for me to try on" and one of the employees, a heavy guy, starts pointing and laughing at us saying "he told you he had sizes and still ordered for you!?" Like it was hysterical that a employee from this company had lied to me and sold me. I highly doubt that was the case because the gentleman in Scottsdale was attentive and helpful, but these guy in La Jolla was just terrible. Doesn't surprise me from someone who was sitting around the store not doing much. Needless to say I wont be walking in there again.

“Custom suits” no so custom. Standard sizing on everything. Pants come in either skinny or baggy. After purchase I was told they do not hem the pants. Go get a real fitting and get an actual custom suit.

Every time I shop here the attendants are extremely helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. The clothes from this brand are much better than competing brands for guys with thicker builds, but overall I'm more satisfied with their customer service than anything. Marcos helped me today and was excellent, but based on my experience you can't go wrong at least stopping in, regardless of who's on duty.

So the store isn't a normal store, it'd a showroom do you would get your items delivered but items do ship fast. Went in for my first tuxedo and got what I needed in less than an hour. The sale associates are super friendly and make you feel welcome. They also have military discounts which helps tremoundlsy. There is also a great selection of suits and tuxedos. 10/10 would recommend and I will be going back for another suit in the future.

Mixed reviews here. Person working there was super friendly and even took off the expedited shipping cost from my order so I could get it in time. Only downside is that this is just a fitting and trial store. They don't have actual products to buy. It would have been great to know this before making the trip all the way.

This is not a store where you can buy stuff and walk out with it. It is a showroom where you can try stuff and have it ordered. Was unaware, but that was no big deal. I walked in and honestly I looked horrible (this might be relevant, might not). I was the only one in the store and the guy behind the counter looked up for a bit and did not say anything. I do not particularly care about that but then some other individuals walked in a minute after and he was super friendly. Weird. Anyways, as I mentioned I looked like crap, I needed help. I went to the guy and asked him some very basic questions to which he almost made a terrible face and gave me a couple one-word answers. Not helpful at all but oh well. But he was all over the other people asking them questions, offering this and that. I am not one to complain and I may be overthinking this. However, this was the weirdest experience I have had in a retail store. Especially for a brand that you would consider fancy, that is pretty terrible. Maybe the guy was having a bad day, who knows.

Funny story: just found out Bonobos was purchased by Walmart some time ago. So, I purchased a $100 pair of pants, wore them 2X and the button fell off. No big deal, I just sewed it back on, however I was somewhat surprised that this would occur so quickly. I am sure this was a fluke so I will buy something else.

A relaxed atmosphere to try on clothes before you buy. Note, you can only try on and get a feel for the items i the shop. You cannot buy and walk out with the clothes. I was hesitant to buy a pair of the chino 2.0 Bonobos pants online without trying them on first, so the Bonobos UTC location was a great find on my visit to San Diego. The staff was super chill and helpful, and got me all squared away with what to buy. I am looking forward to receiving my shipment to my home.

Store associates patronizing, unhelpful. The store associate who helped me seemed to think I was familiar with the concept of a showroom in asking to see how different styles fit. I was given incorrect sizes and given conflicting counsel on the difference between athletic and straight fits between the denim and the chinos. The worst part was the gaslighting that it my fault that I asked for the wrong sizes. I probably would have purchased a wardrobe refresh if it weren't for the offputting nature of the associate. Seriously, I don't want to buy from this brand if this is how they carry themselves.
