It was a pleasure working with Jessi to create a custom mosaic design for her clients' new shower floor! She was extremely professional and responsive, conveying the clients' wishes and working closely with us to complete this unique and creative project. We are looking forward to working with Jessi and the Blythe Interiors team again!

This was such a fun and helpful experience! The Blythe designers took our inspiration photos, our "wish list" of room needs, and delivered a design that we are so happy with! They were incredibly productive in our meeting - not a minute was wasted. We're so happy with their design plan, materials list, and color scheme...we never could have done this on our own! If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would. :)

I was privileged to work with the designer Jessica Helbig at Blythe Interiors and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Jess is such an unassuming person with a great eye for design...she is the easiest person I have ever worked with on any project ever...I had her design 3 rooms and create a beautiful new outdoor patio...I am an artist and I know what I like...I always chose the first thing she chose for me..she understood me right away....One of the rooms was a new studio for all of my supples and a work table...I am over the moon with her design but I didn't see that one initially but I trusted her and we went with it...Six months later I'm still in awe every time I go to work up there. Also the contractor she hooked me up with is one of the most earnest people I have ever met...I feel so lucky to have had this experience...I was sincerely dreading it!!!

Lynn's designs and furniture renderings were spot on with what we were looking for. It's amazing how she was able to take our very loose ideas and capture our true style. We love how our house turned out and we hope to use Blythe Interiors again with our future projects!!

Being our first renovation ever, we had no idea where to start. After a quick local search and reading some reviews I came across Blythe Interior, and WOW! From the very first consultation we knew we were in the best hands. We were matched with designer Lynn, who took us under her wing and guided us through the whole process. She listened to every crazy idea we had, helped us narrow in on design, and made sure to work with out budget. What stood out the most to us was communication. Lynn was so organized made sure to communicate any changes or updates that came down the line. While I was naturally stressed (renos are kind of a big deal), Lynn kept reassuring us and we knew we were in the best hands. She paired us with one of their contractors who also ended up being incredible and we were able to get everything done on our tight timeline. To add to the complexity of a renovation, I was pregnant and our son ended up being born a month early, right as everything wrapped up. The team was SO helpful in completing a final walkthrough while we were in the hospital, coordinating final touches, and making sure we were good to go before moving back into our house. Lynn's designs and furniture renderings were spot on with what we were looking for. It's amazing how she was able to take our very loose ideas and capture our true style. We love how our house turned out and we hope to use Blythe Interiors again with our future projects!!

I had never really considered design services. As I wasn't ready for a full remodel, I was afraid my needs and job were too small. But when I was really frustrated and stuck, I reached out to a couple interior designers. Blythe Interiors was the only one to call me back. Stephanie and Danielle came to my home, and with the 2-hour consultation, I received some great ideas, complete with notes, referrals and references/pictures. It was so much fun! Stepanie and Danielle were so friendly, easy-going and anxious to help! They provided easy design solutions and then some ideas, should I choose to do more extensive remodeling. I am working my way through the list, one thing at a time! I would highly recommend this service and the Blythe team.

It pains me to revise my stellar review because I think their designers are very talented. But they must get things in order on the business side or they will continue to lose clients. While they work on hourly consult rates which is a refreshing option for many of us, on a recent project, my business was clearly not valued. Calls and emails were not returned for days or weeks, plans not sent as promised, all eventually resolved through my repeated follow-ups. The justified reason is that a bigger client was requiring all their time. Customer Service 101. I pay my invoices on time and without question. I will set aside the sales tax issue which required multiple emails to be resolved. The last straw was the requirement to pay for a 4th consult by a sharp deadline or my consult would be canceled. What choice did I have? I will find an interior design firm that will appreciate my business.

I am an architect and have not only worked with Blythe interiors with multiple clients, I also used Blythe interiors for my own home remodel. I have mainly worked with Lynn, and have always appreciated her promptness in correspondences and honesty throughout her communication. Lynn and her team have a wonderful design eye and provided excellent material recommendations for my personal home renovation. I have appreciated working with Lynn and her team many times. I would absolutely recommend Blythe interiors to anyone looking to get assistance in designing their interior spaces.

We are very happy with Blythe Interiors! We worked with Jessi to design and decorate a condo in downtown San Diego. Jessi is extremely professional! I feel like she is a great listener, who paid close attention to our specific needs and wants, and understood our style. She designed a perfect place for my family and we could not have done this without her. She has great communication with every decision and everything turned out perfect! I would highly recommend Blythe Interiors.

When I decided that I wanted to work with Blythe Interiors, I reached out about scheduling a consultation and the next day, I got a text about how to navigate to their site to setup the appointment and send them the money via PayPal. Several days later I decided that I no longer needed their services so I wanted a refund. I first called them, twice, but no one ever responded so I was left with replying to the text. After a few more days, someone finally answered back saying that they would contact management about the refund. A week went by without a word and I say, this is all very unprofessional and discourteous. I had no choice to but to reach out to PayPal to ask them to look into refunding me the money and when I informed Blythe about this, the response was "Sorry, forgot about you but we'll get the refund out." I don't trust them to refund my money in a timely manner nor anyone that lies so opening and takes advantage of its customers. I'll never use Blythe Interiors again nor will I recommend them!

Update on my review. I spoke with the owner, who was very interested in my experience, was professional and not at all defensive, and provided concrete ways that she will or has responded to my concerns. For one, they dropped the vendor that was such a problem for us for the same reasons that we were so disappointed. After talking with her, I do believe that we did not get their best when we used them and would consider trying them in the future, working through the owner. Our job, after months of delay, is already done so there is really no need for a remedy at this point, but I appreciated the sincerity and professionalism from the top.

Janice Tran designed us a beautiful and functional kitchen. She helped us figure out how to best utilize the small space we had and had great aesthetic ideas. Not only are we thrilled with the outcome, we genuinely enjoyed working with Janice. She's friendly and was always eager to propose different ideas and solutions. We highly recommend working with Janice!

I loved working with Sarah Kaplan at Blythe! She has impeccable taste - modern, refreshing, and classy all while being fearless with color and print. Her point of view is an asset to anyone, no matter how much or little you know or plan to be involved in designing.
She helped me update my 2k sq ft townhome in San Diego. The consultation/walkthrough was incredibly effective - we identified paint colors, wallpapers, and flooring. While I was able to use my contractor for painting and flooring, Sarah connected me with a vendor for wallpaper. We then collaborated on furniture options.
She was always responsive and we were able to do so much in just 3 months (excluding furniture lead time). She also allowed/encouraged me to do as much of the furniture research to help cut down on hours, and then sent me a prorated refund when I did not use all of my purchased design hours. I look forward to working with Sarah on future projects!

We purchased a new beach condo and wanted to spruce it up. We didn’t have the money to do all the renovations we wanted but were willing to spend some money to get it to feel like our own and yet be marketable for renters. I contacted Blythe Interiors to get advice on decor, paint, and furnishings. I had hoped for a really beautiful blu-ish gray, coastal-feeling paint color for the condo but after consulting with them, realized that it would not pair well with our warm wood floors. I’m so grateful for their advice and professionalism! In the next few years, we’ll be ready to replace the floors and re-do the kitchen and we will definitely consult Blythe Interiors again!
