Came here to get my first tattoo and it was worth it. I went with Gust and he did a fantastic job. He responded quickly to my email and we scheduled a consultation right away. He was very accommodating with the time and date. Gust's work is very clean and detailed, will be back for sure.

Great experience working with Aidan at Big Trouble. Really worked with me on dialing in the design and it made for a great tattoo, love it! Shop was beautiful and comfortable. Can’t wait to come back for another!

Aidan is seriously one of the best. I've gotten 3 tattoos from him and they've all come out amazing. He's a super nice dude and always makes it a very easy comfortable experience, would absolutely recommend.

Excellent experience, Aidan Monahan did a wonderful job on the tattoo and checked in regularly to see if I needed a break. Artwork is very top notch. Very clean respectful environment, will definitely return for more!

I met Aidan Monahan at a local art show and loved his style! I found out he was a tattoo artist and we chatted about getting something done. I reached out to him and was able to schedule something a few months out, and my tattoo was executed beautifully! I have many other tattoos, and I can say Aidan has a gentle hand and is quick as well. My tattoo is now 7 months old and has healed amazingly and I have gotten tons of compliments. I actually think the colors look better healed than when it was fresh, which is saying a lot because it was amazing fresh! Aidan is a true artist who clearly knows how the inks will heal and picks his colors and makes designs with care! He also is very welcoming, kind, and great to chat with. The shop itself was easy to find, a great location in North Park right on 30th, and it was bright, open, clean, and welcoming. Aidan's station is colorful, fun, and comfortable. He was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable the whole time while sitting to get tattooed and took breaks as needed. He always has amazing original flash, but he was very open to my idea, and gave me the Rainbow Brite tattoo of my dreams! I loved my experience at Big Trouble Tattoo! It's in a great area with a lot of restaurants and shops. Walking up the stairs you see a lot of great artwork from different artists and that continues once you get into the actual shop. There is gorgeous artwork everywhere you turn. The store is super clean and laid out nicely. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I was there to get my second tattoo from Aidan. He is such a great artist and made me feel super comfortable while getting this tattoo. It's the biggest one I've ever gotten and he was very patient and kept checking in on me throughout. The other artists came up and chatted with me too and the friendliness calmed my nerves as well. I will definitely visit again for my next tattooService: Color ink tattoos

I visited Big Trouble Tattoo in San Diego to get a tribute tattoo of my Furry BFF Pugsley after he'd passed. Aidan Monahan created the perfect tattoo to honor my precious boy. Big Trouble Tattoo made me feel welcome and comfortable while I waited for Aidan to get setup. The shop is super clean and folks really seemed to care about their clients.
