This is my favorite Big5 in San Diego. The current manager is very helpful and freindly. Even though they had a power outage they were nice enough to let us in the store and took the time to help me find the right baseball/softball gloves, bats and balls for my kids. I got on their emailing list and started getting 1 day only deals (FYI - they do send a lot of emails so this might not be for everyone). There are so many great deals I keep coming back! I went in last night and it was almost closing time but I got the same wonderful/friendly service and ended up getting a steal on a basketball and a hammock I wanted. Really impressed with this location and I will DEFINITELY be back.

I called looking for a product I saw was low stock online, the staff was incredibly helpful and set it aside for me. I arrived and it was behind the counter with my name on it! The gentlemen that helped were fantastic and ask3d if I had any coupons (which I did and may have forgotten to use if the didn't remind me!). Overall great experience.

We almost always go in to purchase shoes and always have attentive service. In and out. You usually can't beat the prices either.

Do not waste your money here. Everything is a cheap Chinese knock off of what you really want. Spend the extra bucks and seek out good equipment elsewhere.
