My worst experience, with the employees, could not sleep the night I stayed and security did nothing about the loud people next door , complained to the manager (Michelle), she has no compassion for customers , she hung up on me and didn't seem to care about my experience with the hotel.. stay away from this hotel ,, and especially is poor managed ...

I went alone to the TEQUILA hotel restaurant, its food is more or less, the staff's attention is good.

A large hotel with many hotel rooms and a decent restaurant with bar. The rooms were a little outdated, but in working order. The conference room was a little small for our group of 80, but overall a good experience and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops.

This is literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed in!The management has no idea what is going on, and the property is BEYOND need of repairs! The owner Bill McWhethy has REALLY let it go!They claim the pool is heated but it is NOT!It ruined my son's 10 birthday by us reserving a room here!DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!Also they allow homeless to use the restrooms specifically for guests. It is DISGUSTING here!0 stars out of 10!!!

We love staying at this location. The views are fantastic and the location can’t be beat. A quick walk and you are in the heart of Old Town.Nearby activities: This location is in Old Town close to shops and delicious restaurants. It is also close to the freeway for short rides to downtown, Sea World, and the zoo.

Parking is $20 per night. They don’t say that until you check in. Decent stay otherwise. Rooms were pretty

Absolutely loved it here! It's "old" but that's a huge part of the charm. It's beautiful, perfect location, and the room was comfy and clean. We had a "city view" and it was spectacular! I can't wait to stay here again. The parking was tight, but we don't have any problem finding a spot. We ate at several of the near by restaurants and spent time in Old Town. There are lots of stairs, but the scenery makes you forget you're breathing heavy?. There are elevators, so you always have that option haha. Go, it's great!Rooms: Clean and comfy!Nearby activities: Super close to a transit station, so you're really close to just about everything in San Diego. We loved walking to Old Town and enjoying the shops and restaurants there.Walkability: You can walk all over and find everything you need.Food & drinks: Lots of options, but out fave is Old Town Mexican Cafe

Would not recommend staying here. Rooms are very old , parking is trash and carpets smell like mildew. There are other hotels in Old Town, pay a few more bucks and stay somewhere else or stay at hotel circle.

View was great. The amount of stairs with limited elevators can be a challenge. Faucet wouldn't lock properly to change to the shower.Food & drinks: Restaurant was OK for breakfast nothing special.
