I cannot say enough positive things about Berger Hardware. They helped me select beautiful door hardware for all my interior doors and my entry door. Eric, Dorothy and Kathy were so patient, knowledgeable and friendly in helping me. I love how the selections compliment the overall design of my remodel. Eric even organized the door hardware by room to make the installation easier for my contractor. Thank you, for making my door hardware selection so easy and successfu! I love every decision we made!

We purchased kitchen and bathroom cabinet knobs and pulls from Berger Hardware. Dorothy was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Her excellent customer service, communication and follow-through made for a great buying experience. Thank you, Dorothy!

This place is great, they saved me so much money!My beautiful Emtek entry door handle broke for the second time and I came in to Berger Hardware to shop for a new handle set; I brought my old handle with me and Dorothy suggested they try to fix it instead of replacing it. Unfortunately it couldn't be repaired but she contacted Emtek and was able to get a replacement handle for me! Dorothy was so knowledgeable and helpful I couldn't be more pleased!! Take note it's hard to locate; if you find the flooring store you are in the right place; I guess the City of Encinitas is making signage hard to get.

I just wanted to update my review with a special shoutout to Eric, Berger Hardware's wonderful co-owner. My hardware was delivered to the (new) Encinitas location while Berger Hardware was transitioning there. I live close to downtown San Diego, so that's quite a distance. Eric took it upon himself to hand deliver the hardware to my home. Now if that isn't going the extra mile for the customers, I don't know what is. Truly. When I thanked him (profusely), Eric said it wasn't a big deal and that he already had something to do in the area. Even if he was in the area, it was still exceptionally kind and thoughtful. Oh, and it happened to be one of those rare weather days where it was absolutely pouring rain and quite cold the day he delivered the hardware. He is just an absolute gem and my husband and I are incredibly impressed with and grateful to Eric. We will certainly be making the drive to Berger's new Encinitas location. * The hardware, by the way, was a fraction of the cost of something we had previously ordered from another company and was far better quality. **** Thank you, Eric, for being a wonderful person. ***Thank you, Kathy, for also being an amazing person. Fantastic service! My front door lock broke and they researched it and discovered a lifetime warranty! So they gave me a new one on faith that I would bring back the old one, which I promptly did the next day and I have a brand new front door lock with an upgraded mechanism! So kind! And they have off street parking in the back. The showroom is fantastic and everyone who works there is very knowledgeable and helpful! Thank you all!!!

I found out about this business through a contractor I'm working with. I needed to order door hardware. I was greeted by Kathy upon entering the store, and she was super kind, knowledgeable and helpful. My order came in within the promised time frame, they contacted me to let me know. When I went back to pick it up, the service I received was again, top notch. I will definitely recommend them.
