The basic service was fine, but as a Japanese business, I couldn't trust them in many cases, such as keeping small amounts from the customer or charging them extra at a later date.
・When the loaner car's engine oil ran out, we had to pay for it at our own expense.
・When there was something like a scratch from a flying stone on the windshield of the loaner car, I had no recollection of it either, but I was told, ``This is a scratch that wasn't there when I rented it, so I'll let the customer keep it.'' "Hey," he asked.
・When responding to a complicated breakdown case, after I had been using a loaner car for about two months, I was told when I returned the car that it was not intended to be used for such a long period of time, so I would like to be billed as a rental car.
・I was told that a certain repair would cost $8000, and when I took it to another shop, they said it would be $4000.
Also, I had general maintenance done here, but even though they said, ``Please don't worry, we'll follow up after-sales service,'' they said, ``There's a small amount of oil leaking, but it won't be a problem as long as you ride it.'' I was riding after being told this, but the engine oil leaked out on the top of a mountain in a national park and I got stranded. It was my fault that I didn't pay attention to the remaining amount, but after it was fixed, I was told, ``Oh, by the way, I was thinking of saying that it's time to change the mileage.'' .
Well, other people have given it high ratings, so it might just be a coincidence.
P.S.: When I left it at a local shop, they serviced it for half the price. If you can speak English, you may not need to go out of your way to ask someone of Japanese descent. Since I'm Japanese, I thought the quality would be safe even if it cost a little more time...

I recently bought a new car from these guys a couple of weeks ago. In a world where there are many mechanics, autobody shops, and dealerships who's main goal is to sell cars despite their low quality, these guys stand alone. Hiro and Yoshi are two very ethical, classy men who work to take care of their customers beyond all else. I consider myself blessed to have found them, and the car I bought from them is an amazing vehicle which will last me forever. I will for sure be continuing to give these gentlemen my business, and I recommend everyone else does the same.

Hiro and Yoshi are two very ethical, classy men who work to take care of their customers above all else. I consider myself insanely blessed to have found them, and the car I bought is an amazing vehicle which will last me forever. I will for sure be continuing to give these two my business, and I recommend everyone does the same.

I was looking for a car locally as I was being transferred to the US. I had worked with some companies, but I chose Bayside Auto because of their prompt response and generous support during the car lease. Their support was generous, and in addition to vehicle inspections, they also provided support in the event of an accident and provided free training.

I have had my car repaired several times. They are very polite, kind, and conscientious, and will handle your car in the best possible way, so you can trust them with your car. After the repair, the interior and body of the car are shiny and clean and it feels great.

I bought a car here, and I was forced to buy it for about $8,000 when the market price was about $2,000. I don't understand why it has so many stars.When buying a used car in America, you can check the market price on the Kelly blue book, and if you can get the car's VIN number (it's better not to buy from a place that won't tell you), you can check the market price of the car. There are also websites where you can check the history, and you can easily check accident history etc. If you look into these, you will see how far this company's prices are from the market price. Very loyal customer service and superior professional work! They ARE very perfectionist for what they do. They kept me posted when the auto parts will be delivered so that they could start fixing my car which I found it so important at the time...during 'the PANDEMIC' when we had automotive parts shortage issues. So for that reason itself I was very stressed out, I had no idea how long it's gonna take...Then guess what? they offered me a nice rental car for me to drive around meanwhile. Who does that? Bayside auto. They DO care their customers very much. Thank you so much all over, Bayside auto!

This is the only place I’ll take my car in San Diego! Hiro and Yoshi are attentive, reliable, and trustworthy, and make every visit - whether it’s an oil change, smog check, or engine service - an easy experience. Whenever I’ve needed something fixed, they’ve done it promptly and provided clear information for my understanding. This review is long overdue. I bought my Mazda at Bayside Auto a couple of years ago, and the experience could not have been more pleasant. We never felt pressured, which is rare when you are car shopping, the price was reasonable and agreed upon, and Hiro handled the financial part very efficiently. After the purchase, the maintenance service has been excellent, I am always able to schedule an appointment at a convenient time, and Yoshi is skillful, knowledgeable and courteous. Yoshi and Hiro are very polite and friendly professionals and it is a pleasure to recommend their business. Arigato gozaimasu!
