Clean place.....unfortunately, Slow and incapable of doing business as fast or accurate as most all other banks I have used in my 40 years banking. Try BofA!!!

Banner Bank is an opportunity to return to "the good old days", where the customer is not corralled to the faceless kiosk. The branch at Balboa Ave demonstrate exactly what the relationship between consumer and bank should be. I've worked/banked with Banner for over 5 years, operating and growing a small real estate business. Banner continues to be of immense help, by way of support and dedication to helping with all the nuanced banking needs of a small business. Mostly, it's the personal connection and interaction with all of the employees. Knowing that I can call and get a live person (who knows my name and exactly how to assist/help) is truly a rare experience in today's landscape of banking options. I'm appreciative of all the people at the Balboa Branch, and the manner they conduct business and treat their customers. Everyone there is an All-Star: John, Dina, Alana, I'm forgetting a few more...Thank you for making my banking experience a pleasure every single time I set foot inside the branch!

I just opened a small account at Banner Bank on Balboa. I've been to this place about 7 times since. Not one time has an associate there been nothing but polite and welcoming. They are all top notch and the bank offers really good products including the prices on there safety deposit boxes!!!

I was a client with banner bank until I got laid off at the end of September. At this time I informed the bank that I was laid off and during that time I had a loan taken out with another company that requires automatic withdrawal from my bank account. When that loan company attempted to withdraw that amount to pay back the loan Banner bank did not pay the loan fee and no money was taken from my account however Banner bank charged me $35 for overdraft protection, since then that loan company continuously attempted to take out the money required to pay back the loan and banner bank continually charged me $35 for overdraft fees each time resulting in a negative balance of $208 and charged off my account knowing that I was affected by covid 19. Strongly do not recommend this company as they have no sympathy for individuals affected financially by covid 19.

We have banked with Banner from their opening, and this branch is too-notch. They are efficient, proactive, considerate, courteous, and friendly with every transaction. When my purse was stolen last year, they worked tirelessly to help us get through the crisis without financial loss and proactively helped us rebuild quickly without complication or charging hidden fees. It's like a small-town family business; we all know each staff member by name. They genuinely care about their clients and the local Clairemont community. We highly recommend Banner and especially this branch.
