Mike really knows his stuff. He's so good though, he's backed up for ten to twelve weeks. He can fix it, you just need to understand he's under high demand and won't be able to get to it untill he fixes the things that are ahead of you in line. Patience for great results!

I dusted off my old korg m1 that had been sitting in it's case for the last fifteen years, to gift to my girlfriend. It didn't power up . Audio doctor breathed new life into this classic instrument for a reasonable sum. Parking is not an issue. The end.

Mike has been providing excellent keyboard and electronics service to the community for decades. I first met Mike when he was a repair tech at the gone (but not forgotten) Professional Sound And Music. I recently had him help me with my Roland XP-80, which is now probably considered a vintage keyboard. Mike's familiarity with the characteristic issues that arise with this keyboard provided quick and accurate troubleshooting that is gained only through experience. Note that there can be fairly long turn-around times, but I'm not dinging him on this because he is very upfront about his backlog. So I suppose a good tagline for Audio Doctor is "Great service that's worth waiting for."

The parking sucks bad. I’ll stick going to LA for my service than to walk down El Cajon blvd with music equipment and get robbed. The maybe 5 stars but their parking is a zero. Good luck! Hope your driving a golf cart.

Called them about my Mesa Boogie Mark IV head that had a broken tube and they got back to me same day and was able to fix it right there. The guy who runs this spot is awesome and you can tell he loves what he's doing, and if he's able to he's willing to help in anyway. This place is the best.

I went to Audio Doctor about a year or so ago to bring in my Roland MC-500 MIDI sequencer. They said it would take a month or two before they even got around to the repair, cool with me. Unfortunately, they never did get around to the repair. I stopped by the shop multiple times snd they were closed when they were supposed to be open. I called many times without a response. Until one day about 4 months later I received a call back from Mike saying that they were about to start repairing the sequencer. He said he would call me back with a price and estimated repair time. He never called me back. I called him a few times as well as emailing him and going by the shop in person (why is the shop always closed?). At this point I have been without my sequencer for about a year, lost $50 for the upfront fee he charged, and overall have just been unhappy with the service. I understand you are very busy Mike, but it's been so long since I gave you my sequencer I've pretty much given up on ever getting it back. Since the shop was never open and my calls weren't returned, when I moved out of state 6 months ago I just gave up and purchased another unit. Giving 2 stars instead of one because even though there was a lack of service, Mike was a nice guy when you could get a hold of him.
