I usually go here for an oil change because they get it done fast, which is good, but decided my tires were due for a tire rotation and first time ever get it done here, and Andy was the person to do the tire rotation, he removed my wheel and literally threw the wheel down on its back and made such a loud noise when he could’ve just spend the extra 2 seconds laying it down nice and carefully, this guy doesn’t care about other peoples valuables clearly, mind you these wheels were $3500. I’d steer clear away from this place, and take your business somewhere else.

DO NOT COME HERE!! Came in for an oil change and left with a broken radiator! They are liars and theifs! Wish I could give Andy's Auto Repair 0 stars. BEWARE.

I was referred to this place. I called ahead to schedule an oil change. They told me to come by so I did. When I got there, they told me to drive around and come back half an hour so they can eat lunch. They could have just told me when I called in to not come over until later in the afternoon. What a waste of my time.

I was referred to this mechanic by a co worker. I now go to him for everything. He charges fair prices, is on time, and does good work (I've never had to take it back).

Be careful this man has no scruples. I took my Toyota Camry 2006 to fix a light coming from the gas tank cup. Andy told me that there were a bunch of problems but had no time to give me a final estimate. In turn, I asked him to call me before proceeding with the work and to check if there was anything more serious otherwise I would just trade in the car for a new model.Andy did not call me as agreed, and when I called he that there were more problems when I told him I would just sell the car, he said he already had done a lot of work, including a tune-up. I was not happy about it, but paid him over $2,000. RIGHT AFTER IF PAID AND HE SAID: if I were you I would just sell this car. I was puzzled by his remark. Just a few months later my car started making a huge noise. The mechanic who worked on my car said the engine had about 1/2 inch sludge high all over the engine and advised me to come over to see with my own eyes. I could not believe what I saw. The sludge was like 1/2 inch high thick coffee grounds mixed with oil like a cake. I started crying when the mechanic told me that there was no way for Andy to miss the problem because when Andy changed the Cover Valve Gasket Andy had to open everything and there was no way to miss it. I had bought the car second hand, 4 years earlier, and never had any problems. Obviously, the previous owner did not take care of the car, the reason why there was so much sludge, but that does not exempt Andy from telling me the truth before charging me an additional $500 for the Cover Valve Gasket. To cover up Andy said that there was a lot of oil, A LOT OF OIL, and he had to clean it for 5 hours (without consulting me). Andy showed me a picture of the bottom of the oil pan with some black marks in it - just to cover up in case I found out about the real sludge that he tried to hide from me so he could make more money and possibly get my car for cheap or something?? This was very devious and I'm disgusted by that man.I was traumatized by the experience and rushed to buy another car and got into debt.

I would not recommend
This mechanic shop they steal your money they charge you over prices. They charged me 40 bucks for oil change, and then the Asian guy they took him my car. They never told me how much she’s going to be and I told Lynn. I only say no English in English. so I don’t recommended this.

This is my third time back to Andy's auto repair with my 2008 tundra Trd.He's always fair honest and will not do repairs that are not absolutely necessary. He's been in business for over 30 years. I trust him impeccably.With over 200,000 miles on my tundra now .this is the only place I will take any of my cars. Integrity matters.

I've taken my car to Andy's Auto since I moved to San Diego in 1991. Best recommendation ever! Their rates are reasonable, per my brother who knows the industry.They never do work that's not needed.They're usually prompt. Though, if your car needs a lot of work, make an appt.

Went to this shop to have an intake installed on my 2021 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback. The mechanics who installed it didn't know what to do at all despite having the instruction manual right in front of them. On top of that when I got home I noticed the whole Intake system was installed incorrectly as the mechanics seemed to have cut corners rather than installing it the way the manufacturer I bought it from intended it to be installed which throws off the whole intake system. I highly recommend staying away from this shop at all costs and visiting any of the other shops in the area.

The shop and Andy is super nice and fair. Brought my car in for suspension work and they did an awesome job! They gave me a very fair price and they were fast and reliable! BEST AUTO SHOP ON MIRA MAR.
