Was trying to buy some crofton containers, there was a set of 3. 1 large blue container, 1 3/4 pink and 1/4 yellow container, and 2 1/2 green containers. There was only one green container left, looked like someone opened the packaging and took 1 of them. We grabbed it anyway because we wanted the whole set and were hoping maybe we could get it half off since half of it was missing.
When we talked to the associate she couldn't understand that someone opened the package and took one out, so she went and got her manager. The manager talked to my wife and I in a condescending tone, and told us no, there wasn't a piece missing, she is the manager and this only comes as one piece. She just bought the whole set herself and the green containers only come with one. You could clearly tell due to the amount of plastic still hanging off of the container that there was meant to be another one there stacked on top. No longer interested in arguing about it, we dropped the convo and just decided not to purchase.
Well I found the item online, and yes it is meant to come as two. I don't appreciate when managers straight up lie to us about little things and talk down to us when we are simply just asking questions. It was $5, why treat us rudely and lie to us over that? Weird interaction at this location, my wife and I will take our business elsewhere.

Really good place to shop for pantry staples. They can be a bit limited in selection if you need something complicated but if they have what you need it's always cheaper than anywhere else.

Aldi's is one of my favorite stores to shop at. Their cheaper prices let me get more healthier choices for me and my loved ones. Plus I always love putting my quarter in the cart, it brings back so many nostalgic memories

Too many times I’ve online shopped at this particular store and they had no consideration for a customer wants or needs in regards to the order. They don’t communicate with the customer. They’ll choose for you just to get through the order quickly. Beware of online shopping!!!!

I love Aldi, but I’ve come to this location twice 10 min before the store closed, including tonight and the workers locked the doors. I know coming in that late before closing isn’t ideal, but I work late and just needed to grab their beef jerky bc it’s my favorite beef jerky. I will not be coming back to this location.

We have been hearing about a new grocery store opening soon in Clairemont Mesa. It will be at the NW corner of Balboa & Genesee. We couldn’t wait and went to Mira Mesa to an Aldi’s today, wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Bottom line if you want to cut your grocery bill in half check one out. We spent 15 minutes in the first isle comparing prices and counting our savings. Like Costco Aldi is probably very picky who they select as vendors. They sell everything a Vons or Ralph’s does at half the price but without the membership games or using an app. same price for everyone. Item prices are clearly marked which I found refreshing. Check it out you will not be disappointed. Below you can see two of the brands they carry.

No soap in the bedrooms, no hand sanitizer either. Makes me wonder how the food is stocked and how they keep things clean. Otherwise, Aldi is good.

I had an awful experience .The cashier and the staff were beyond rude. The cashier , I believe her name is Dana was literally throwing all of my things in my shopping card . She was very rude to all the customers and I just won't be shopping here again.
This is very unfortunate because the products are always in excellent quality and good price.
