Fast and honest car service shop. Today, Bob found out the problem in a timely manner and suggested me to pursuing warranty from the dealership who installed the new but defective parts. Will be back for trustworthiness services!

I stopped in this morning for help diagnosing an error code on my SUV and was so impressed with the service, I’ll now be back for all my automotive needs. Bob is extremely knowledgeable and honest and gave excellent service, even when my car needed a jump in the parking lot he was there with his battery pack ready to help! Love having a reputable shop nearby, highly recommend.

Always honest when you call, when you bring in your car, they don't nickel and dime you, if they can do it, they tell you, if they can't they don't try to charge you for nothing. A true honest car shop.

I highly recommend Advantec Auto Repair. I have gone to them for several years now and have always had great service! After a recent brake service, my hand control device malfunctioned. The owner, Bob, has such high integrity that he paid for a replacement of my device at a high cost to his shop. If you want an honest, customer service oriented mechanic, look no further.

Used this place when I lived in SD. One of those special businesses you which you could relocate with you to your new town when you move.
The owners are completely genuine and honest. Always happy to explain issues or give advice. Even once fixed a small problem for me without charging.
Can not go wrong with these guys.

It pains me to write this review because the guys are really nice… but here’s the saga I went through:Months ago I went to get my car looked at here, they said it was my spark plugs. Months later my car is all jerky and wonky again so I bring it back in— they look at it and say, “Your CVT transmission is the problem but idk where you’ll even get one of those for a good price right now you’re better off just letting go of the car and getting a new one because the CVT transmissions are so bad.” They give me my car back, didn’t charge a diagnostic fee which was nice I guess, and then send me on my way.I bring my car into the Jeep dealership (I’ve got a Patriot) today and they say the problem is my spark plugs and that I’ve got aftermarket, faulty spark plugs in there.So Advantec either 1) installed bad spark plugs that don’t work with my car, 2) Didn’t even look at my car the last time I brought it in (because spark plugs should be an easy problem to diagnose), or 3) They looked, saw it was their own fault spark plugs they put in and then lied and blamed it on the transmission and told me I should buy a new car.Like I said, nice guys but none of this is cool.

Bob, and his crew have been around for some years, and came highly recommended from friends. They got my truck back up and running. I bought it used, and it blew a head gasket. Sat for quite sometime, as i did my fair amount of research on how to go about restoring it. Called around, and some shops just flat wouldn’t even entertain the idea. Bob worked with me, and went above on beyond to get my truck on the road. This shop went the extra mile, with certified parts straight from Toyota, and even threw in a new battery at no extra charge. There were some other components that i had bought, and Bob did not charge me extra. I wasn’t just searching for the right mechanic, i was also searching for a shop that i could trust, and recommend. I found that at Advantec Auto Repair, with Bob, and his crew. They will definitely have my loyalty.
