This is their second time helping me out. I have always found them to be honest and practical. They helped me diagnose an engine problem and fix with a tune up with reasonable pricing. Furthermore, they point out other areas that may need addressing, give you information about how that issue impacts your day to day driving and allow you to make an informed decision as to whether it would be worth it to fix. I like that they aren't in the business of scaring you into fixing every small thing. Their honesty is much appreciated and their work has lasted me well. Me and my 96 Toyota Camry will continue to choose this spot for any car problems in the future!

They put a new long block in my f150, leaked oil and coolant. Bright back 3 times, paid for new parts, ended up taking it to another mechanic who confirmed they stripped out two of the mounting holes for the coils in a brand new engine. I wouldn’t get my oil changed at this place! Steer clear!

amazing experience. after a long road trip into town, my check engine came on. their business was about to close for the night, but Ted checked out my vehicle for me and made sure I was safe to continue. couldn't say enough. they were honest and more then generous. highly recommend this place.

Had to get my transmission fluid and filter replaced and they did it for cheap! Labor for it at one "reputable" shop was $280. They did it for about a 100$ (not including parts)! Love these guys❤️!

Thank you Ted!Good honest trade workers are hard to find! I know because I'm a Plumber and I'm an honest trade worker so I recognize good tradesmen!

Went in to have them look at the back which was clunking. They claimed that the spare tire was loose and tightened it. It still clunks and when I asked for further information they said they were too busy. Took my hundred dollars and didn't even look at the swaybar links and bushings like I asked them to. Never going back. They'll take your inspection money and barely look at it. Had a more thorough job done at firestone.

Came in here after I felt was being taken advantage of by the dealership. JD and team diagnosed the problem and were upfront and honest about what was truly wrong with my car. By running a few tests for $150 they saved me over $2k in services that would not have even gotten to the root of the problem that the dealership wanted me to do. It is always nice to have an honest mechanic that did not just try and perform services to your car because they can.

Well worth the drive to get to for the service and experience. Honest, but may need time to ascertain issues. When you see the mechanics and none are the younger generation(Millenial(s), no offense at all), you know they have years working under the hood! Easy to find, parking can be tricky but if you call in ahead of time and make an appointment it goes easier. Large waiting room as is normal with shops. What I like is that they still have signs for you to wear your mask, not they do themselves and have it up for customer comfort. Doing that extra... JD is your guy to talk to. He will be up front, let you know what they find or come across as they work on your ride. I went in for an inspection and left with new bearings, struts, etc... it needed it as the drive post surgery was smooth like she just came off the factory floor. Mind you this was all with being in consistent contact with JD/Avdance Automotive(AA) the whole time, knowing what was going on and being discovered. The car has not run smoother in a while and it's nice to go to a shop where you feel like you're getting what you're truly paying for and not the run around. Had been to AA before at the recommendation of my brother, had a tune up a couple years back and what impressed me was when he came back eith his quote and explained what was actually needed with my car. About to go in for the 200k service here shorty. Take care of what tales care of you.

Have been going through some crazy car life events since the beginning of 2022 and Ted / this shop have saved my life- helped me out with everything I needed and was really shocked at the quality of customer service/work done. Have been to a couple dealerships in the past and now realize I will only bring my cars here from here on out. 11/10 service, I cant say enough good things! Thank you !!!

I was back and forth with my car getting it fixed, because the San Diego Auto Finder dealership did me dirty in not taking responsibility for fixing the car issues after I was promised that it was "good" and having it break down a month into having it... A car shouldn't be giving ANYBODY issues at all until years later... Anyway to top it off Ted and JD have been extremely helpful, so much gratitude to them and to the mechanics who worked on my car to get it back up and running! Thank you! #Gratitude ** AVOID SAN DIEGO AUTO FINDER DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST! (the one located in Convoy) #Snakes **
