Best. Garage. Ever. Miles is the only mechanic to touch my Camry. This shop is the real deal and provides excellent work at a fair price. You will not get ripped off here. Especially if you are a woman.

Brought my classic car in to have the carburetor and engine looked at due to smoke from tail pipe. Joe was very responsive on getting the car to the shop. Acme Garage sends out for major engine repairs to repair shops that only deal with business to business. While the car was in the shop and the engine was being tended to the shop was conducting grinding work on another vehicle in the garage. Yep, you guessed it the metal grindings were launched into my car window. During a visit I made to check on the car, the owner mentioned that he needed to move a car (not mine) outside of the garage due to grinding on another car. This was not noticed when I retrieved the vehicle, and no notification was made to me that my car was in the line of flying metal. My windshield now has small dents were the flying debris struck my window. While my engine was in another location I was not cut in on changes to my engine as it was being worked on such as different size camshaft, type of pistons required etc. I was calling almost daily for any updates. When I identified the camshaft was different based on invoice, Joe informed me that the cam was flat. The cam was not actually flat but built specifically for the engine lift/duration. This caused my power range to change. When I conducted pickup and close out of invoice there was confusion on what parts were replaced due to electronic bookkeeping. The final interaction was the owner taking a picture of my engine and posting it on one of his social media sites without my permission. The owner then asked if he should place my address over the picture to allow everyone to know where my vehicle was located at. The owner also offered to index my brakes to fix them which he said it may take up to 12 hours of labor. I asked him if he was a brake person, and he stated no. I denied this service and a certified brake shop told me that indexing the brakes was new to them and that I needed new brakes. Whew saved myself about $1200 on unneeded work.

I met Miles when he was in the cigar shop nearby last week. People were peppering him with all kinds of car questions, and he couldn't have been nicer answering the questions. So when I needed work on my old Corvette, I brought it over to him. The job he did was amazing, and I was happy with the price. It's refreshing when you're dealing with mechanics you can trust, and that really know what they're talking about.

I met Miles when I first got to ACME garage, and he was immediately warm and give off a sense of security. I asked him for sure what was going on with my Lincoln MKZ and quickly repair we need to be prepared and no more reading over the coals but he was honest and did only need to be done I would definitely recommend this Asmir auto shop for any person or family that wants dependable work.

Garage is great. Kenny is the best and does great work on Harleys. Took his shop to change out my stater, regulator and battery in an hour and a million times cheaper than Harley dealership. Will definitely be coming back here.

I have a newly purchased 64 Lincoln Continental and was looking for a local automotive shop that dealt with and had experience with Classic Cars. As with 95% of all my searches, I jumped on Yelp and this gem, ACME Garage, popped into my feed. I was pretty happy with the reviews I read and decided this place would be the best fit for what I needed (oil change, engine analysis, general assessment). When I called, a guy named Joe answered and was very receptive. We scheduled the appointment and he recommended if I had a few hours to spare, to be present while the assessment was happening with my car, which I though was peculiar, because no auto shop had ever asked that of me before. I said "Absolutely!!"and showed up during my scheduled appointment. Fast forward a couple weeks for my appointment and I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Miles...the owner and mechanic who would be working on my Lincoln. I really never had an experience like this before. We put my car on a lift and we literally did a thorough walk around of the entire cars condition. We talked about the history of the Continental, it's quirks, and performed a thorough inspection of not only the engine, but also the brakes, rear diff, suspension, control arms, ball joints, etc. So we changed the oil, greased the joints, checked all the fluids, inspected the brake drums, control arms, rear differential, and discussed potential/recommended upgrades, and future upkeep. I have never been to an automotive shop where the customer is actually included in the initial inspection of the vehicle. I'm sure Miles could have performed what I asked for in about an hour...but for Miles to take the time out of his busy schedule to give me a thorough valuation really built the trust and rapport that has been missing in other automotive shops. It was truly an awesome experience! Thx again, can't wait to upgrade the gauges and shocks, see u soon!
