We love ABC vet! You can feel the love as soon as you walk in the doors for the animals that the staff treats there. Their interactions are professional and compassionate. The space is also kept very clean. We are really happy we chose to go to them for the care of our sweet doggy. Thanks ABC vet!

We are fortunate a friend recommended ABC Vet hospital to us. Our 16 year old cat became ill during the night, I called in the morning, she was seen early that afternoon, & she was a new patient. The vets, vet techs, front desk staff are all wonderful - kind, compassionate & knowledgeable. We appreciate the doctors are thorough & realistic in their treatment plan options, answered all my many questions & truly care about your pet & you. Being able to email them & get a prompt response is also helpful. It’s such peace of mind to have doctors & staff we trust. Little Abby is doing great!

I can't express enough how grateful I was to find such a wonderful group of people working together in one Vet Office! This is the cleanest and best smelling Vet office I have ever been to and everyone is sooo genuinely friendly and authentically caring. The front office tech Charla is such a kind soul and really knows her stuff. She was super helpful truly awesome at her job. She got my cat in right away and had his records transferred swiftly. THEY ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE HER HERE!!! I was so impressed that they had a cat room. I was so grateful for that as I have brought my cat to several vets in the past that just smelled a lot like dog and it freaked him out...so it was nice to see him finally feeling as safe and calm as he could while being examined in the "Cat Room"! Thanks guys for doing that! Dr. Nicole Svehla was so kind and extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. She took her time to answer all of my questions and I can tell she genuinely loves what she does and is exceptional at it! She was willing to work within my budget and gave me several options for caring for my cats IBD. I also felt she allowed me to be an active participant in his care plan and valued my insight to knowing my cat and his medical background. I feel so grateful to have found a compassionate vet! The office manager and vet techs were also so kind and genuinely caring and knowledgeable!
This entire staff is a class act and I am super grateful found such a wonderful Vet team for my cat here in my neighborhoodof Pacific Beach!!!

10/10 recommended by our senior Boston Terrier. He is new to the clinic, and they treated him with care. The whole place is clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We trust them with our dog, and that's saying a lot ??

ABC Veterinary hospital in Pacific Beach has been our go to clinic for our pets for years! They have amazing staff that always go above and beyond for the care and wellbeing of our beloved animals. Trustworthy, friendly and efficient. We love ABC Vet hospital!

So sad to leave a negative review because I love the front desk staff. Today I received a text saying "Take care of your pets Annual Exam, Vaccine Updates, Dental Consults, etc. before the holidays start... Take $30 off your next vet visit." It said before September 15th, so I immediately booked a vaccine appt and rescheduled my day to make it in time for the $30 off. I arrived and was told they would not honor the text - that it wouldn't work for vaccines with techs. This is highly misleading at best, unethical and illegal (false advertising) at worst. I asked them to double check the text they sent but the manager doubled down. As a business owner myself, I understand the challenge when you promote something other than what you actually intended, but I always choose to honor my word to customers. That's what ethical business practicing looks like. Grand Animal Hospital has squeezed my dog in for emergency appointments twice when ABC vet was unwilling to and they were lovely, so I'll be moving care over to them.

I’ve been coming here for years with my dog Sadie! My wife and I love this place - we have seen it grow and change into a really great hospital. I know when our girl is here she is taken care of. Our dog can be a bit nervous and can sometimes bite, the staff at ABC are really great with her and take it slow, she trust them, so we do too! I highly recommend this hospital, we’ve been through quite a few vets and this one is definitely the best. Not to mention, their pricing is not very much compared to other hospitals… we did a whole dental with teeth pulled and blood work for under $800.

I am new to the area and I havent established a new vet here - my baby Jaxson has a really bad ear infection. I googled vets with same day appointments in San Diego and ABC came up. I called them and was able to be squeezed in same day! The exam fee was lower than expected, the hospital was very clean, the staff were all super welcoming to my scared miniature poodle and the vet that we saw was great! We walked out of there in about a hour with an exam, ear treatments and medications to get my boy fixed up. So glad I came here - will definitely be using ABC Vets for future care!

ABC Vet is AMAZING! Our puppy Cora woke up yesterday morning with a severely swollen face, so we called ABC. Without hesitation, they allowed us to bring her in immediately for an urgent care visit and got her the treatment she needed. She is 100% back to her normal self today and we can't thank ABC enough! The staff was so friendly and made us feel so comfortable in our time of distress. We'll be recommending ABC Vet to all our fur friends!

Super rude over the phone when I requested information about obtaining a health certificate. They also wanted over $200 for their certificate which is substantially higher than what they usually cost.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.
We scheduled an appointment for my dog because she was having some episodes, which I showed them via a video I made during her physical evaluation.($80)The vet referred to it as reverse sneezing.
The vet recommended a nasal solution, which they sell for $40 -9mL. After four days with no improvement, we called, and they recommended an antibiotic they sell ($40) for one week. After that period with no improvement, they now say they need to see her for a recheck. ($60)
That means paying another $60 to show the same video to vet (luckily)figure out what else it could be.
We messaged Karen, who said she would evaluate our case and get back to us, but she didn't respond before the time of our appointment.We also talked to Alyssa, the manager, who didn't resolve the issue either and said we would need to pay for the vet's time to see us (meaning to look at the same video again and recommend something else, since my dog was physically fine)
In summary: we paid for one consultation($80) and two treatments ($80) and they still haven't figured out what my dog has. I won’t pay a $60 recheck for them to see same video and try something else. So now you know what to expect if you need them– countless appointments, and paid rechecks without finding out what your pet actually has.
