I'm am disabled / amputee who loves swimming outdoors and every time I come to this pool, the handicap lift never works, and the waterline is disgusting. I complain about it all the time, but nothing ever changes and thus this review. Hopefully this will help ?

The locker rooms, sauna and steam room areas are always really dirty and smelly :( today I watched someone try to go into the steam room and it smelled like straight pee and it went into the waiting area. The ground is always so dirty too. I understand it gets busy but it’s almost unbearable to walk around. Just posting this so hopefully they make some changes.

This place really went downhill. Never really anyone at the front desk. The steam room stinks. The locker rooms have dirty mold in the corners.

Don't go in the locker room! Always black mold and puke smells but today was the worst.. walked into the shower area and found human crap logs in the handicap shower :(
When asked, employee said said that Corp cut about 60% operating costs and they aren't even using their own power washer to clean.

This place is 24 hrs convenient. But looks like no time for workers to cleanup. Shower leaking for a month now. I meantion it to one of the workers in the front desk three week ago. I've seen the sign saying save water with short shower.

This is the 2nd cleanest 24 hour behind Carlsbad...but I've never seen so many machines out of commission...and they're not just out for a week....I've seen the lateral elliptical machines by the locker rooms out for months....I believe there's 5 to 7 treadmills out and at least 4 out for a while...cmon let's get this stuff fixed. Cleanliness here is amazing...you should see what 24 balboa has become...disgusting...you guys are very clean...but it's time to go on a 14 day plan to get 95 percent of what is out of commission back in commission. We can't keep this lack of repair up..it violates your guys mission statement. I'll check back in 2weeks to see if you've fixed 95 percent fixed

The Carmel Mtn facility is finally improving after 2 years of neglect that would have rated a 1 star previously. However, because of Lorenzo, their new gm, in the past couple of months machines have been repaired, bathrooms have been repaired, dispensers have been kept stocked, and cleanliness has improved, although there is still mildew in the ladies' shower stalls due to, apparently, re-grouting that was done incorrectly. Staff seems more engaged and the general feel of the facility seems more positive. My hope is that in a couple more months continued improvement under Lorenzo's management will merit a higher rating on my next review!

The gym is always dirty and there are tons of machines that are out of order. They don't clean enough and the sauna is a health hazard. It smells disgusting and it has black gross stuff in the cracks and baseboards . I got jock itch from sitting on the bench through my board shorts! Time to find a new gym.

Does not honor free 3-day guest passes from their own website. The gym was so packed I doubt I could have gotten a full workout in anyways.
I wanted to try the gym before committing so I selected this location on their website and was able to submit a request for a free 3-day pass. Drove all of the way there only for the staff to rudely tell me they would not honor it and I would have to pay $25 for a day pass if I wanted to try their gym before signing up. It was rude and made me feel like they profiled me since the website offered free passes but they quickly sent me away when I was physically there.

I very much admire and appreciate this gym for its many many equipments, including tons of squat racks, multiple same weight dumbbells, and bright and lively atmosphere. I could always find my machine to use because there's multiple of them. Although I admire this gym so much, there is no Wi-Fi at all in here. Even my data cannot penetrate the field that they have going on. Make sure to download your music and your videos, because nothing will get through. The lack of Wi-Fi definitely ruined the vibe the first time I worked out without downloading.

It's one of the newest and nicest 24-hour Fitness gyms around. There are a ton of machines for cardio and lots of weights. It is well lit and well maintained. There are several different activity rooms that are separate from the main area. The whole gym is a single story.
There is lots of parking available, and charging stations for EVs as well.

It's easily one of the best 24s out there. I always get the best workouts here and the atmosphere is very conducive of an active lifestyle. The staff is friendly and welcoming too. However, I hope they start paying A LITTTTTLE bit more attention to the restrooms, locker rooms and sauna areas.
