Cute store. Lisa has some really funky and unique items as well as clothing.If you’re in the market to pick up something special for someone come here and take a look. Also, when I walked in she said if you find something you like, bring it up to her and she will usually do a deal for less than the marked price. So, don’t be afraid to ask her.She is also willing to purchase or trade for unique things. So, it can’t hurt to bring it by and see if she’s interested in yours.

The Pac-Rat has a great selection of vintage and modern clothes, jewelry, home accessories and other beach-related items. Lisa gave me a great deal on a longboard, leash & surf shirt. If you're in San Clemente go check out the store. They have a great inventory that's always being updated and you're bound to find a great deal. Thanks, Lisa.

Lisa was so sweet and chatted with us during our entire visit. She lowered the price on all of our items and answered all of our questions about the unique items in her store. The store has a lot of antique/vintage decor and furniture as well as many one-of-a-kind knick knacks. If you are in the San Clemente area I highly recommend!

Lisa is a fun and friendly shop-owner with a great eye. I bought a gorgeous blue glass bowl from her and she has bought a number of things from me. It's a fun place because you never know what you will find. I recently discovered it...and it's close to other places I go, so now it's on my circuit!

Lisa is friendly and down to earth. She is willing to shoot the breeze, show you around the store, make deals and more. I came in to try to negotiate a partial trade for at a guitar that caught my eye a few days prior. We couldn't make a deal on the guitar, but she still made me an UNBEATABLE deal on a NFL history book I had my eye. Thank you, Lisa! I hope you get your hands on some more silver bowls!

Pros: the owner is lovely and very social! she was very warm, and greeted each guest with smiles and chit chat. You don't come across many stores these days where the people behind the counter genuinely want to connect with those who walk through the front door. Cons: the store is pretty quaint. Larger items in the front, with 2-3 big women's clothing racks in the back. Was bummed to see they didn't really have a men's section but my girlfriend was more than happy lol. If you're ever exploring the area and want a quick place to check out to thrift, I'd recommend this place as one of your stops along the way.

Oh my gosh! This place is freaking fabulous!!! We came in when we were staying nearby and the owner was fabulous! Helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Great prices! All kinds of hip stuff. Not trashy like many thrift stores or too pricey. If you are nearby, you have GOT to come in and check it out! We live in Indiana, so won't be regulars, but will stop in any time we are near!

We've Been going to Pac-Rat for almost 20 Years now. We have even followed them through 3 different locations through the years. But, that is because they are truly not like any other thrift store. They have the best eclectic choices of merchandise you'll find; from vintage furniture pieces to surfboards or beautiful art pieces. My family's personal favorite though, is their amazing and unique clothing selection. They have everything from the most adorable, & unique designer clothing pieces, to quirky, vintage pieces you won't find anywhere else. My whole family loves going there, because there always seems to be something for everyone. The owner, Lisa, has a unique eye and really knows how to pick the best items for her customers. And I have found that anyone who shops there, tends to love her because she always makes everyone feel special.
