So my husband and I absolutely love staying here and have stayed many times and will continue to come back. They are a bit pricey though.... the location is what we love. We've stayed in different rooms and trust me we really love our stay. This time we stayed in room #6 by far our favorite. So spacious but come on guys, y'all need to upgrade that bathroom in there. NO WATER PRESSURE and the plaster is chipping off the bathtub. Add some solid shelves in there to be able to have a little storage for our tooth brushes and such. Maybe add an actual medicine cabinet for storage. The room is spacious and should have some drawers for storage as well. **Please add a full length mirror**There is so much room. Overall we love this place so much. Ashley is so nice. We look forward to coming back soon and staying in this room. But please add do something about the horrible water pressure. Happy New Year!

My sister and I spent an early Christmas at Seahorse Inn and it was absolutely amazing! We had A 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect with a beautiful view of the ocean! It had everything we needed. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The local restaurants were fantastic and local shopping was great! We are looking forward to our next holiday at the Seahorse! This will definitely be a tradition!!

I had a fabulous time. I stayed in the King Non-Smoking Oceanview. The room itself is cozy, the microwave and refrigerator are in a closet. But aside from being a little smaller, it's beautifully decorated and very clean. If you want to catch the sunrise, I suggest walking to the pier as the sunrise is blocked by the building across the street. The tall gentleman with glasses checked me in and out. He was incredibly helpful and kind. I asked questions about the area and he was very knowledgeable and patient. I will 10000% stay again.

We had a two bed apt, one street back from the coast. Fantastic apt, great balcony with great view. The train is always going to be a possible issue on the front at San Clemente, but being a row back with bedrooms at the back of the apt it was no issue at all. Pricey but great. Only issue we had was WiFi going down, a small inconvenience.

I've stayed in this place a few times before and it's always a great experience. I was actually shocked when I went to go check out my prior review and I realized I hadn't written one. Before arriving I was a little confused on parking and the girl I talked to on the phone was super helpful and then got me checked into my room within minutes once I arrived. I had an upper floor studio king which I absolutely loved the view and it was a super comfortable room except I did hear the people next-door coming in and out and I'm sure they could hear me coming and going because of the door creaking and the doors being so close to each other. The next morning I decided I wanted to stay another night and I booked what I thought was the same room but I guess I booked a bottom floor king studio and the guy working the desk told me I would have to check out at checkout time and then recheck in 4 hours later which was super frustrating. I told him I didn't want a bottom unit floor if I could pay the upgrade to a different room and he let me and it wasn't even much more and he was so amazing and accommodating he had the cleaners clean my room quickly and I was able to check in only about an hour later after original check out. The views are amazing and the pizza place next-door was super good. I ordered a gluten-free pizza and it was probably my most favorite gluten-free pizza I've had yet and everything was great. The only complaint I have is I got a bigger room the second night the TV was extremely far from the bed. I would definitely pick the first room, the higher floor studio king if I ever came back which I'm sure I will! All in all I still give it a 10 out of 10

Our large family stayed in 3 of the units at Sea Horse Resort for 2 nights in March 2023 before going on a cruise out of Long Beach. We found the accommodations to be exactly what we were hoping for. The views from 2 of the units were spectacular, the units were spacious, the finishes were high quality, and everything was clean. Although parking was tight, we had parking spaces within just a few steps from our doors. We enjoyed going to the nearby restaurants, walking on the pier, and spending a few hours on the beach... all without having to drive anywhere. San Clemente is definitely a charming place to spend a few days.

What a great place! Rooms are remodeled, very cute, and clean. Amazing views. Location, location, location!! Walk downstairs to coffee shops, market, pier, and beach. Swimming area across the street. Watch surfers and people watch from a great balcony, which is a nice size. The SC trolley stops right across the street. The trolley is free and will take you to downtown to do some shopping and restaurants. It also goes to the SC outlets. You can bring your dog here. It was a great place and I highly recommend it.

We stayed in a two-br suite. The view was wonderful, but the kitchen was sparse on plates and cutlery, there were no lamps in the living room (only overhead lighting), and the hair dryer broke while I was using it. There was also no hair conditioner. I wasn't really surprised by any of these things, what I felt were deliberate cost-saving decisions, because when I called a couple weeks before my reservation to see if there were any accommodations that could be made for an afternoon meeting I needed to call into (after checkout time), staff were polite, but very unhelpful and I received a fairly patronizing lecture about checkout times and room turnover. I was surprised by the lack of hospitality (not even a recommendation for a local coffee shop that might be quiet enough for the meeting) considering the room I reserved for three nights went for around $2400 with taxes. The best part was, when we were there, tropical storm Hilary was on her way and the staff had us move all the patio furniture off the decks into the room ourselves (they weren't planning to do it unless we needed them to "for our own privacy"), which we did gladly because we don't mind helping. The place is fine (we would stay there again), but the rules and attitudes are a little...unaccommodating. I don't need a response; I know there's some justification for everything. My suggestion is just to be a little more helpful even if you need to follow strict rules because sometimes you need your guests to help out, too. Thank you for having us. Edit to add: I was planning to share this discreetly with the resort when they reached out to see how our stay was, but they never did, so I am sharing it here now instead.

This hotel is perfect for a weekday getaway. I had the bottom King studio room on the street level with the guest patio The location is perfect, room is good size, staff are friendly and great walking distance to restaurants and shops. The parking is easy to manage which is amazing considering the downtown is always packed! Room had microwave, fridge and a seating area. I grew up in San Clemente so I knew it was right by the train and this did not bother me but I cannot wait to be back here to stay! Great little hotel with the best view. One thing I do wish is that there were blinds or darker switchshades, the outside nights at night REALLY light up the room but not that big of issue to give them a less star.

Absolutely adore this hotel! It’s my happy place. The gorgeous rooms, the balcony, that view, the location. Just wow! It never disappoints - been back four times in the past few years. Can’t wait for the next time
