Just Food For Dogs
3551 Camino Mira Costa # I, San ClementeI first transitioned to JFFD after my vet recommended it for my senior dog who had pancreatitis and needed a low fat diet. I was able to give my dog a quality life for almost a year and a half after being diagnosed thanks to this food. I would bounce between Hepatic Support (Rx needed) and the Fish and Sweet Potato - whichever was available because they were often out of Hepatic at the time. Fast forward to the next senior dog we adopted and I decided to also put him on the fish and sweet potato after he began having gastrointestinal issues from another company's chicken blend. I learned that beef and poultry can be an allergen to dogs. I tried the venison JFFD had, but it upset his stomach. Thankfully the fish and sweet potato was a success, as it was for me before. Since moving to the area I was so happy to have this store nearby. They always have what I need in stock and product quality never disappoints. Previously I would purchase JFFD at Petco but often found insane amounts of crystalized ice (almost like freezer burn), so when I defrosted the food it was extremely watery and liquidy. I have not had that problem at this store and feel quality control is much better here.

111 W Avenida Palizada #15c, San ClementeAfter trying one other groomer and my Daisy looked only ok, I gave Seashore a try. She was only 5 months old and 2 other people recommended Seashore. Yuri was able to fit Daisy into her schedule. When we arrived for the appointment, Yuri took a look at Daisy(Havenese/Shih Tzu) and recommended what she wanted to do for her. I leave her grooming to the professionals. She looked so happy and beautiful when I arrived to pick her up 1 1/2 hours later. Yuri proceeds to tell me that it looked like one of Daisy's ears looked red and may be an infection. That same day I took Daisy to her Vet and sure enough, she had an ear infection. If Yuri didn't catch it, I don't know if I would have caught it myself. Her prices are reasonable and she is professional. Thank you Seashore Pet Grooming.

The only thing I’ll flag for new customers is that for non-appointment services like nail trims, you need to call in advance to make sure they’ll be open when you plan to visit. They often close down the shop, at least on Saturdays, well before 2pm when they say they close.

810 S El Camino Real, San ClementeMade a reservation about a week in advance to bring my dog here for the self-wash. They state on the web site that they have raised prices recently-we were charged $15 and that seemed very reasonable to us, and $60 for a 5 pack is a deal I will take them up on. We arrived and I thought they would be more busy, but our stall was waiting. Everything is super organized with shampoo, conditioner, no tear face wash, ear cleaner, towels, brushes, combs-everything you could need, you absolutely don't need to bring anything to this place to do your doggie wash. One of the ladies briefed us on everything and then we got our pooch into the tub. Good water pressure at just the right temp with the spray hose, really good for getting a deep wash on and a good rinse. Then they have the high powered, but not heated, dryer with a hose to directly the air where needed, which does a pretty good job getting the water off your dog's coat. Everything was super convenient here, and they even provide rubber aprons so you don't get soaked while washing your dog. This is my go-to place now to clean up my pup!

They treat each animal special and listen to their customers. What's so nice is that the owner works with dog trainers and rescues to help rescue dogs. They do an amazing on the dogs. I took my friends 150lb St. Bernard (this is NOT an easy dog to groom h he came back so beautiful and happy! He's also happy when he's dropped off. That's a great indicator on how comfortable a dog is at a facility (cats are s

We have been going there since they opened, however recently our dog Dewey became very ill- we thought for sure this was it. I called and shared the symptoms- they were incredibly busy- but they said bring him in and we will see him in between appointments. It was an infection that was difficult to determine what was going on- they were honest and kind. We decided on a treatment plan together and in 3 days our dog was back to being healthy. They were all so kind and considerate. I would give them 500 stars.

When it was finally time to say goodbye to our 16 year old fur baby, they gave us all the time and tissues we needed. They made us 2 sets of her paw prints so each of my children could have a keepsake. They even had flowers delivered to our house the next day along with handwritten sympathy notes from each team member. I was blown away and am beyond grateful for all their kindness!

I have never experienced anything but compassion, empathy, committed dedication to solving my animal's problems, and a welcoming staff. My family and I have worked with many vets over the years of pet ownership and have found Dr. Amin to be one of the best. We have had several types of animals over the years and he has always been honest with us about their diagnosis and treatment plans. He is also forthcoming about situations when a specialist is needed. I appreciate that he will work with other doctors to help you get to a diagnosis and solution. Quite often when I call first thing in the morning, he picks up the phone, addresses me by my first name, and makes time to hear what is going on with my cat or dog. He always cares and works with me financially as well. This means the world to me! I have spent time in all areas of the hospital including the back with sick kitties and it is clean, sterile, and professional. I recommend Dr. Amin to all of my clients and family.

They make sure they get playtime in their own room and offer fetch to keep them active! They also send updated photos of them playing!! We love the love they give our dogs and even though they don't do well around other dogs they welcomed them with open arms! We love this doggy daycare.

One of the best aspects of their program is that they help the dogs socialize appropriately... we have been taking our dog there for over a year now and feel Fiona and Alicia have helped so much with his training process and setting clear expectations for him, which he benefited greatly from. Our dog LOVES going there... he gets so excited as we exit the freeway because he knows he gets to go see his "friends" haha. Fiona and Alicia are the best. If you want great, professional care for your pups... take them to it's a dogs life academy.

Parking is a bit tight and I would think that on a busy night it would be really hard to find a spot and also to find a table inside. It's a very open space and even if you're sitting inside you feel kind of like you're sitting outside. Service was a bit slow because they were short staffed but the service we did have was very friendly. Although the menu is on the small side there are lots of great options what we ordered was delicious - a banh mi sandwich with grilled chicken, and hot chili brussel sprouts. The fries were cold and just okay.
