The only thing I’ll flag for new customers is that for non-appointment services like nail trims, you need to call in advance to make sure they’ll be open when you plan to visit. They often close down the shop, at least on Saturdays, well before 2pm when they say they close.

They treat each animal special and listen to their customers. What's so nice is that the owner works with dog trainers and rescues to help rescue dogs. They do an amazing on the dogs. I took my friends 150lb St. Bernard (this is NOT an easy dog to groom h he came back so beautiful and happy! He's also happy when he's dropped off. That's a great indicator on how comfortable a dog is at a facility (cats are s
o different, and really run their own show ?).

We have been going there since they opened, however recently our dog Dewey became very ill- we thought for sure this was it. I called and shared the symptoms- they were incredibly busy- but they said bring him in and we will see him in between appointments. It was an infection that was difficult to determine what was going on- they were honest and kind. We decided on a treatment plan together and in 3 days our dog was back to being healthy. They were all so kind and considerate. I would give them 500 stars.

Pacific Coast Veterinary Hospital

When it was finally time to say goodbye to our 16 year old fur baby, they gave us all the time and tissues we needed. They made us 2 sets of her paw prints so each of my children could have a keepsake. They even had flowers delivered to our house the next day along with handwritten sympathy notes from each team member. I was blown away and am beyond grateful for all their kindness!

I have never experienced anything but compassion, empathy, committed dedication to solving my animal's problems, and a welcoming staff. My family and I have worked with many vets over the years of pet ownership and have found Dr. Amin to be one of the best. We have had several types of animals over the years and he has always been honest with us about their diagnosis and treatment plans. He is also forthcoming about situations when a specialist is needed. I appreciate that he will work with other doctors to help you get to a diagnosis and solution. Quite often when I call first thing in the morning, he picks up the phone, addresses me by my first name, and makes time to hear what is going on with my cat or dog. He always cares and works with me financially as well. This means the world to me! I have spent time in all areas of the hospital including the back with sick kitties and it is clean, sterile, and professional. I recommend Dr. Amin to all of my clients and family.

Dr. Baybordy really took time to explain everything going on with Journey, my golden retriever. My doggie has a few issues, he's getting old, 14, ... and the doc walked me through each one, explaining all of the options and what we can hope to expect ...
He even got on the phone with my dad right after and discussed everything again with him.
I felt like the staff was sincere, patient, and wanting to help my dog, while many other clinics have left me felt rushed.
Pricing was fair and it was easy to make an appointment.
I 100% recommend them!!

They make sure they get playtime in their own room and offer fetch to keep them active! They also send updated photos of them playing!! We love the love they give our dogs and even though they don't do well around other dogs they welcomed them with open arms! We love this doggy daycare.

One of the best aspects of their program is that they help the dogs socialize appropriately... we have been taking our dog there for over a year now and feel Fiona and Alicia have helped so much with his training process and setting clear expectations for him, which he benefited greatly from. Our dog LOVES going there... he gets so excited as we exit the freeway because he knows he gets to go see his "friends" haha. Fiona and Alicia are the best. If you want great, professional care for your pups... take them to it's a dogs life academy.

The daily soup was a scratch-made jalapeño corn chowder topped with fresh cilantro, cotija cheese, and long, crispy house-made tortilla strips. The flavor was incredible—creamy with just the right amount of heat, subtle yet right up front.
Then came the short rib sandwich—DIVINE. The meat was juicy, shredded, and tender, layered with banana peppers, crisp lettuce, horseradish crème, and served on the most amazing toasted baguette with a bubble-crusted finish. Every bite was perfection.
The fries? Gorgeous—stacked high and garnished with care.
And the ambiance sealed it all in: a perfect surf-city vibe, fresh and upscale, yet still with the warmth of a weekly neighborhood spot.
This is a meal and a place I will not forget.

The flavors we got were really good.
Not sure if it's because I'm not from this area that's normally higher cost of living, but I did feel like the prices were fairly steep. But again, could just be because of location and the demographic (and the market).

Their strawberry blended margaritas are by far my favorite, no one can top them. The chips, salsa and bean dip are like crack and you can’t stop. I truly feel like every dollar is well-spent here. Their pastries? Phenomenal, well-made and beautiful, with some of the smoothest pastry cream I've encountered. Their breakfasts? SO delicious, with great portion size. Highly recommend their bacon mushroom and leek quiche! Every time I've been here, staff have been quick and helpful. The only tricky part is finding a table haha, there's a reason this place is so popular!
