Like the other reviewer who broke his watch trying to change the battery himself, I did the same thing to my St. John watch and didn't want to mess up my other watches. I took a shoebox and went to drop it off and Mo took each of my watches and carefully noted the description and gave me a receipt with all of the details. I haven't even had this level of attention to detail with my kids in daycare. I asked about the jewelry in his store as his inventory is small, he handmade most of them and explained he uses old bench jeweler techniques.I didn't see anything that caught my eye but as I was leaving he asked me if I wanted to try on a necklace he had recently made. I was not in a hurry and it seemed to please him as he quickly brought it out. His prices are so fair! I didn't realize you could still buy precious stone jewelry at these prices. Anyways, I found him from the reviews so I thought I should post one to share my experience.

Mo took excellent care of my aunts 6 watches that needed new batteries. He had them fixed up in perfect working order. I also wanted to mention that he was very polite and seems like such a sweet guy. He even got them done sooner than we originally estimated. Thanks again!

Don't buy from this snub! Communication( a human connection) works for those who work at it! Take your business elsewhere! There are plenty of reliable, honest places to choose from!

My fiancee and I are very happy with our wedding bands. Based on the Yelp reviews, we visited Jewelry Forever on a weekday (the weekends are extremely busy). We didn't have a reservation and were greeted by Delin. I now know that was a blessing.

This is my favorite jeweler! The owner is very knowledgeable & does great work! He has resized rings, fixed a bracelet, fixed a watch & cleaned many pieces for me. 100% trustworthy & vey fair prices too!

I was helping my father-in-law move a storage unit and got my hand caught and bent my wedding band from a circle to an oval. I immediately called Jared where I bought the band. They asked if had the extended warranty and since I did not, it was going to cost $90 to reshape my ring. Next I decided to look at locally owned places near my home and that's when I found Jewelry Forever. Mo immediately got me in (Jared told me I had to wait a week) and fixed my ring! I asked him how much I owed and he said said nothing! He was such a nice guy and fixed it so fast. From now if I need a repair or am looking to purchase some jewelry for my wife I am going to Jewelry Forever!

I had a very bad experience with this jeweler recently. I was planning to have him set a family diamond in an engagement ring for my future fiancé. Initially Mo was very pleasant... talking to me about my various ring options, sizing, allowing me to look at the diamond through his microscope to view the inclusions etc. At one point during the conversation he shared that he's a certified gemologist. My grandfather was a jeweler and, talking to other people in the industry, I know that's not an easy certification to attain and requires extensive education from an accredited gemology school. As I was leaving the store I politely asked for a business card or something with his credentials. His demeanor suddenly changed. He said he didn't have a card and quickly ushered me out of the store. I thought that was very odd. Not 5 minutes later I received a phone call from him saying he will not do business with me and saying I was "a very pushy man." I was shocked but also somewhat bemused. I know the jewelry business can be shady hence me asking for credentials in the first place. And when a customer utilizes services from any type of specialist - whether it's a doctor, a mechanic, a financial advisor, or a jeweler - it's perfectly acceptable to want to see their credentials. And if you're going to claim to be a high level specialist with a unique certification, you better be able to back it up. Mo's irate and defensive reaction to this normal request leads me to believe he is hiding something. It's very suspicious. It's unfortunate too because, up until that point, he was quite amiable and I was planning to have him work on the ring. However that kind of impulsive and irrational response is definitely cause for concern. Long story short, be very cautious if you plan to do business with him.

Sorry, I can't give a five star, because he only changed my watch battery. All went well. I've broken a watch doing it myself, so have gone to a Jeweler ever since. It's not a slam dunk. The $25 I paid was more then twice what I've ever paid in the past, but I'm down to one battery watch, and it should last 5-10 years.

Mo, is the best in town, we have made purchases from him the last two years when in town. He is very honest, fair and a great jeweler.

We have been having our watches repaired/batteries replaced here for years. Always a pleasure to deal with.

Mo, I do not normally post reviews but have to do one for this business. The owner of jewelry forever, is a wonderful person. I've taken my watches to him for the last 6-7 years. I've never felt like he has ever taken advantage of me. He always looks for the least expensive but yet most safe solution for my watch. I took three to him this month alone. He pressure tests all of his work for leaks. He is extremely friendly, very, very knowledgeable and is just an overall great guy. Service is very fast and his email contact system is very informative and efficient. You can't go wrong with Moe.

I was in the area today for a business lunch and had a watch that needed a unique battery replaced. Merdad was very helpful, efficient, and knows his watches. He fixed it and did more than what was needed on the service and explained what he fixed. I liked the unique pieces of jewelry in the store as well! I would recommend anyone visit this location for any jewelry or watch repair; He knows his craft!!

I was visiting San Clemente from San Diego and noticed this shop services Rolex watches. I went in to get an estimate. After Mehdad gave me an estimate and explained his service procedure I asked how much more it would cost to replace the crystal. He took it in back and removed the scratches at no charge. It looks beautiful. I will definitely go out of my way when I am ready to service my Rolex.

Some years ago I took in a Swiss watch which had stopped working and asked Mo to look at it and give me an estimate. I was prepared to spend some money because it had sentimental value. Turns out the seal was broken and had had become lodged in the mechanism. He didn't charge me anything to fix it and that impressed me. Since then he has done repairs and alterations to some heirloom pieces and I trust him always to do a great job. I always enjoy a visit to his store and love to look at his selection of interesting and individual jewelry - so different from the ostentatious bling in the larger stores.
