I was recommended to file taxes with HR this year by my friend. Biggest mistake. Overcharging clients and completely non professional, they just do data entry, no one cares if you face audit from irs, my questions wasn’t answered. When i came to an office for schedulied appointment, i had to go back home, cause they wasn’t ready to work on my taxes.
My documents were lost due to the accountant change for 4 times, no one was working on my case, no one responded for 3 weeks!!!
Paid $1000 fees for simple business and personal forms. For the level of service its ridiculous! Refused to give me fair discount, and i’ve been putted in the situation where terms are due and they ask for $1k for two simple forms.
Manager was rude and was hanging up on me.
Never ever again i will use this business or recommend to anyone.

They will charge you 120 dollars for a walk in which I sat down with the guy for 30mins tops. They should let you know you will be facing this charge before letting you know how much you will have to pay state and federal. They kind of make it out to be this will be the charge for your return. But it is not the case. Either way you need to pay the tax man and they helped me do that. Thank you guys.

I was very pleased with the help I received in doing my taxes this year. I usually do it myself but due to recently becoming a widow doing it online was a challenge for online not for me so I ending up having to have a wonderful woman Barbara L help me out. It also helped that she knew our family. Thanks again

If you want your taxes done right go see Shaku Bhuyan at the San Clemente office. She was great to work with. Nice and very professional. She got me a great refund. I appreciated her work and will be back next year. Thanks Again Shaku

I pulled up at 9 am this morning for my nails appointment. An old Karen from H & R block next door to the nails shop came out and told me that I should not be parking there because it is tax season. First of all, it is a parking lot for a shopping center and as a customer, I have a right to park in any empty space that I want and who is this karen to tell me not to park there? Also the only reason she told me not to park there because she assummed I work at the nails shop because I am Asian. I am a paying customer and I don't work at the nails shop. For this old karen to assume and talked to me like this is unacceltable.I hope H & R block fire her because she has not demonstrated that she has any character to work anywhere. I have already spoke with the manager but want to write this review for others to see. I think the manager told me this karen's name is Sandra.

This year was our first experience with H&R Block to prepare and file our tax returns. It could not have been a better experience. Based on Yelp reviews, we selected Barbara Logan. She exceeded our expectations. She is super knowledgeable, responsive, courteous, and enthusiastic. We will definitely work with Barbara next year. The H&B Block software is super user friendly. The whole experience was simple and efficient.
