“Today Hurricane Hilary is supposed to hit so I wanted to get a pump to empty some of my pool water so it doesn't overflow and create a possible flooding situation in the backyard. First thought was to go to Lowe's however fearing the thought of having to go around begging for someone at the big box hardware store to help me, I decided to first stop by Ace Hardware at this location. The following is exactly what happened. I walked in the door, the cashiers greeted me and asked me if I need help, I said I need a pump, an older gentleman employee busy at one of the close isles heard me and just said, end of isle 4 on top. Being too easy, I went to him and I started to explain what I am looking for and immediately he said end of isle 4 on top. I went to end of isle 4 and in disbelief it was actually right there, end of isle 4 on top, I got it, went to cashiers and paid for it. It took me all of 10 minutes to get exactly what I needed, no anxiety, no looking and begging for someone to help me, just east service. It was probably the best hardware store experience I have had. I am always going to go to ACE hardware first. Big box hardware stores can learn a thing or two from Ace. Thanks to the gentleman at Ace and the cashiers, I actually enjoyed my trip to find a pump today.”
