Spent almost an hour there. All he wanted to do was talk and tell me he is the last of the Mohicans, the best there is... I ended up leaving and never did get my coil or module tested. What a waste of my time. ?

The owner Paul does a great job. Very detail oriented & honest. He worked on my 72 Plymouth when it was having issues and he nailed it. I would highly recommend him to fix anything!!

I own a yacht maintenance and repair company, and often need the services of an alternator and starter rebuilder. I found Paul and his business while searching for a new rebuilder, as my previous guy has been making mistakes lately which ultimately costs me money. Long story short, Paul saved the day and I left with a brand new alternator for my purpose. I took it back, installed it on my customer's boat, and BAM, it worked like a charm. I don't know what the other people are talking about, as I found Paul to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My guess is they just didn't understand the value of Paul's experience and knowledge. I run into that a lot in the boating business as well. If you are looking for welding, alternator and starter rebuilding, Paul is your guy...hands down.

This guy Paul (the owner) is a joke. AND he took things to a PERSONAL level!!! (Yelp, if you don't want the truth, then I'm sorry) {--they deleted this review from 2 years ago! :( I brought my '97 Ford Econoline 250 in just to get an estimate on labor to replace the brake master cylinder--It took him an hour of hemming and hawing, arrogantly telling me how he has the best mechanic in the world and how he'll "put him up against the best surgeon in the world"... yada yada yada... After ONE HOUR (and telling me stories about Moses, etc.) this CRAZY F**K still could not tell me how much it would cost, and says to come back at 8am when his "Prodigy from Mozambique" would be in. He went on and on about how they were so much better than everyone else, and just kept talking s**t on local nearby mechanics and auto parts stores--especially Autozone--calling their products "worthless junk" etc... So, I decided to ask around, and EVERYONE I spoke to said what a crazy, ridiculous fool this guy Paul is. That he just talks gibberish all the time and tries to insult everybody and always says he's the best at everything. Fast forward. One month later, I come back (my first mistake) to let him look at my 2000 Honda S2k, since he had told me previously that he could sell it for me. Also, he bragged about how he could fabricate ANYTHING, and I needed a bracket made to hold my Recaro passenger seat in place. Come to find out, all he fabricates is stories. After making me wait over 30 minutes (while he jabbered with an insurance agent about nonsense and hyperbole) he finally had me pull around back, at which point he had his 24 year old assistant (who he kept calling "boy" about 10 times or more) put my car up on the rack. Why? We still don't know, because all of the work was on the inside and they never raised the car. After BS upon BS from Paul, he keeps stammering, saying, "I won't know how much it's gonna run you until we get into it" I ask him to just tell me how many hours minimum. And he can't tell me exactly, but says at least 2-3. I asked how much per hour and he said something around $100/hr. So I said, "200-300 dollars minimum?" and he was like "yeah, something like that" as he kinda shook his head in a confused look, kind of a grimace--like he was diagnosing a brain tumor... OMG So I told him thanks, but I already had an offer from Dave Wertz for $100-150 max. Paul then immediately turned into a raging j**** and started going "Oh yeah you're that guy who wanted to be cheap" yada yada yada "well you can just leave" I wasn't about to let him off that easy, so I tried to give him a piece of my mind for wasting over an hour and 45 minutes of my time in total--but I couldn't get a word in edge wise. This LUNATIC starts screaming and almost in tears crying for me to leave. All of this in front of his "boy" and the insurance salesman. How embarrassing!!! Lol I must say, if you are looking for a good laugh, and have some time to kill (but don't want any work done--unless you have money to waste) then this is the place to go! WARNING: One of the mechanics who I spoke with told me that they had an alternator for a Woody "fixed" by him that he just replaced with a after-market one, that then they had to have re-done. The best part?? I immediately went to Lowe's and bought the exact same material that was attached to my driver's seat for the bracket, a hack saw, and bolts. Total bill: $18.73 And after 30 minutes, I had completed it all by myself :) Paul, if you read this, take some notes in HUMILITY and being HUMBLE. (He says that he's "God's Chosen" because he claims to be Jewish) You are NOT the chosen one!

I took an Alternator to this place last month to see if he could rebuild it for $100 (or less). He told me it could not be done. Then went on to give me his whole life story and ramble on about his credentials...."I've been in the biz 33 years, I'm the best around. I crap rainbows" blah blah blah. I barely got a word in edgewise. But I told him I could get a newly rebuilt one for a little over $100 Now If this guy had any customer service skills, he would have LISTENED instead of trying to impress me with his expertise. He seriously went on and on and on. If he had paid attention to the customers story he would have learned I have a Fleet account in Irvine for all our trucks and I was trying to save myself a trip out of town. Maybe because I'm a woman he thought he would mesmerize and school me with his "incredible" skills and then try to gouge me. I was getting frustrated and weary of his diatribe, (I do have a busy schedule) and finally had to cut him off and ask "can you do it for $100 or not?" He totally laughed at me, an insulting laugh at that. (Dude, customer service tip: NEVER laugh at the customer no matter HOW stupid YOU may think it sounds. Be respectful). He told me an Alternator will run me $450 for my truck. I picked up my Alternator and left. Made my way to my Fleet Wholesaler in Irvine and paid exactly $99 for a super-duty rebuilt Alternator. (I wanted to stop by and wave my receipt in his face for being such a jackass but I don't think he'd "get it"). I was hoping to save gas and $$ and not have to drive to leave town. His place did not look busy at all, no cars in the garage being worked on. But business must have been VERY good to turn away what should be a simple job, according to his godly skills it should have been a easy $100 but instead using his "ego" and total lack of customer service he drove me away. He lost my business for good.

I am not one to write comments however Paul saved the day with a project to fix a broken alternator on Saturday. It is awesome to still know we have masters of the craft still alive and well. Thank you Paul

This is a great place to go if you want the job done right! They're extremely thorough in their work and was a perfect place to get an alternator job done fast. I took my 58 Buick in to switch from a generator to an alternator and A Certified machined anything and everything from spacers to bolts to make it fit snug.
