Tamara and the team at 662Boardshop set the gold standard in customer service, they are extremely friendly and very customer oriented. Orders are shipped quickly after being placed and arrive soon and carefully packaged. They have sales frequently and discount codes are available online for maximum savings at checkout on a wide variety of bodyboarding products, they always throw in little extras with every order like stickers and key chains which is totally cool of them. Orders are accurate and are double checked and signed off by a team member, if something isn't right simply write them an email or call and they will always make it right. I highly recommend this board shop as they are shop for body boarders and keep the memory of its founder Eddie Solomon alive, as they say legends never die! Check them out you'll be glad you did. Can't wait to rip this Andre Botha signature!

Got my fins there and a few more things.It's a super warehouse with all the merch there.All the staff was super chill and hooked it up with free stickers. Who doesn't line stickers?! Specially free stickers!!!Huge selection of bodyboards!GO check them out!

Have purchased multiple products from 662...they always go above and beyond to respond to any questions you may have...any advice you may need whether it be board size, wetsuits, accessories...this is the place for you...they are very knowledgable on ANYTHING to do with bodyboarding...i highly suggest you check this place out for any of your wave rippen needs! Bought a PS double stringer bat tail during their recent sale event so i could try that board shape without spending $300 - $500 and it turned out to be one of the worst customer service experiences ive come across. This cheapie e. solomon board had nice volume to it and looked fresh so i took it out for a couple hours after work and before college classes at 1730. Good times until i realized that the board creased just in front of where the stringers were. Bummer but its a cheapie! Where i felt burned was when the board continued to drain water from under the deck because it isnt properly sealed. I addressed the issue with Alex, he said send pictures so we can warrantee it and get things started on a return. (Great start) Next email, no warrantee, no return/ replacement and a cold close. Here are $250 options so you can buy a higher quality board, as if id like to accept getting burned for the cost of the first board. Also, a very subtle admission that 662 knows it is selling rubbish. So i turn down their "good faith offer" to gamble on spending more money on equipment they wont replace if it is faulty. No thanks! Next, Sheri contacts and tell me that 20% off my next purchase isnt something they HAVE TO do and is an offer in good faith. She tells me that i should buy higher quality equipment and denies any responsibility. Another cold close, refusing to stand by equipment they have no issues selling and telling me to spend more money with them to fix my mistake. I challenge again and literally tell them to expect better of themselves, to which no reply was given. (I didnt expect one) No store cred, no replacement board for one that isnt taking on water and no accountability. Only a promise to provide good customer service when i am ready to order more equipment from them. (I wont) A gamble not worth taking. My suggestion, order from literally anyone else. Anywhere else. Where do I start? There is so many positive things to say about 662 Body Board Shop.First and foremost, the company is dedicated to and are passionate about the sport of bodyboarding.They have a warehouse full of boards, board bags, t-shirts, sweat shirts, hats, rash guards, fin tethers, leashes and fins. I personally buy boards, fins, leashes, rash guards and t-shirts from them and am looking forward to exiting nee hat and t-shirt ideas that are coming out.A couple of months ago, my sister called me to see if I could get a specific Mike Stewart board. 662 didn’t have the size requested, but Alex Perez at the shop, went out of his way to pick it up before work the following morning to surprise my brother in law for his birthday. That is going above and beyond. He could have tried to sell me an alternative board model or say it would take a couple more days to ship. He understood the importance of getting it right away and he consistently demonstrates that 662 values customer relationships. It’s important.Beyond that, I want to tell you that owner Tamara, Sheri and Alex have treated me like family and I am really happy to spend money with people who treat me well. It feels like doing business with family and friends.Alex is often the guy that walks back into the warehouse and goes through board types, board shapes and board styles. He is very knowledgeable and patient with customers and he is as good if not better than anyone in the business when it comes to the details of body boards and accessories. Because of this you walk out of the 662 shop with the type of board that best fits your riding. I appreciate and want that kind of service. Under that kind of advisement, I am happy with my purchases there and would recommend 662 Bodyboard Shop to everyone without reservation.There is one more interaction I would like to highlight. I have been riding Hubboards for 2 years. When I went from a 43” board to a 42” board, I feel like the board disproportionately lost too much width at the wide part of the board. Alex had a 42” board solution for that. It’s called the Empire Swerve nicknamed after him.The Swerve is a well constructed board. It’s thickness holds up even in warmer 74 degree water. It’s both a fast board that works well in barreling conditions and long drawn out walls that flow more like point break waves. After going to Hubboards a couple of years ago, I was uncertain as to how the Swerve Board would work out for me. It’s an exceptional board that I would recommend for beginner riders to experts. It’s one of the best boards I have and I am comfortable riding it in all kinds of conditions.My advice is, if you live in South Orange County or visiting South Orange County surf breaks and are looking for bodyboards, accessories and apparel, go see Alex and 662 Body Board Shop. They are top notch people who care about our sport that use knowledge and years of industry experience to match up riders with the right boards and gear for them. Much as I like and appreciate the 662 Family, you will too!

662 Boardshop is the best board shop in LA in my opinion they got everyboard I’d need and fins. They also got a very large quantity of other items such as board bags rashguards, wax and etc. Overall very good bodyboard shop

My brother was in town needed a board hit up 662 and the staff got us going with the right gear in no time! They had a wide variety of boards fins and leashes. Much mahalos 662 fam! ??

I needed some body surfing fins and found the only place that stocked DaFins my size was 662. Not the easiest place to find but its a treasure trove of everything bodyboarding and body wompin' super helpful and lots of stock.
