Gone downhill since COVID. Lack of staff, combined with busy location and 24 hour means ling wait times. Product selection esp for certain cold medicines is not what it should be.

The Walgreens is San Carlos should consider closing. There is no one to help unlock cases. The people working there you can't understand . It would make a great parking lot for Trader Joe's

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Urgent care sent a prescription here at 7pm on a Friday. Arrived and waited in line for an hour. Got to the front at 8:45 and they said 20 minutes to get a prescription. Everyone in the pharmacy moves like a sloth with 20 people waiting in line. Sick kids, old people waiting on their feet. Totally unacceptable. no urgency or customer care shown by the employees.

Understaffed. Long lines. Half the store is locked up but you can't get anyone to unlock anything.If you going to have drive through, at least have dedicated staff.

I’m usually not a Karen but Today I went to the drive thru pharmacy and the pharmacist seemed to be annoyed, I ask him if they had children’s Advil or Motrin and he rolled him eyes on me and proceeded to tell me with attitude that I can get that from the store when it opens at 6 keep in mind it was 5am and my son was burning with a fever and I told him that too but he just put the phone down and walked away. I return upset because I really need to medication and I have gotten my kids motrin from the drive through before and there is no sign on the window that says that they don’t cell medications through the drive thru. I think I would be understanding if that pharmacist would of at-least taken to time to tell me they don’t do that but all he gave me was attitude and and condescending responses. Worst experience so far!

Terrible location, impossible parking, slow, and inefficient. Not worth wasting your time trying to find a place to park, then spending more time waiting in long lines at the pharmacy or the front desk.

The pharmacy bombarded me with calls to pick up a prescription refill I never requested. My prescription was then sent to my ex bf’s house because his address was on file and I get an angry text from him. Pharmacy never told me they were gonna deliver it. I contacted the store manager to complain and they agreed to deliver my prescription to my home. Then I get a call saying it’s ready for pick up Their customer service is terrible, you’d get better service if toddlers ran the store. Get your prescriptions elsewhere!

Wow, yeah. I don't even know where to begin. I had a 3:45pm appointment for some vaccines. You are not allowed to check in at the pharmacy window, you have to check in at the consultation window (I found that out after standing in the pharmacy line for 20 minutes) no signage to point me in the right direction.When I got to the consultation line, the line of people was 9 people long (I had PLENTY of time to count). The line didn't move at all for another 20 minutes. When the line did start moving it took around 10-12 minutes for each person in line to be taken care of. It took so long that customers were leaving the line and going to other pharmacies that had walk in vaccinations.Fast forward about an hour and twenty minutes (the line is now two isles long) and I finally reach the front. It was then that I realized the cause of the wait. Felix, the gentleman assisting everyone, moved like he was made of porcelain, he spoke but just low enough so that it was extremely difficult to hear him. With his head hung down he proceeded to ignore everything I said and pushed buttons on the keyboard and stared at his screen for 7 to 8 minutes without typing or moving. When he finally did move it was to hand me paperwork that I had submitted online, that took 5 minutes of explanation.Next was my insurance card and approval, this was apparently the most challenging piece of checking me in as it took around 10 minutes to complete, including the long walk to staple the paperwork together.When I finally reached the nurse that was giving the vaccinations, a full two hours after my appointment was for, she was quick and friendly.I was chatting with the woman that was behind me in line and she noted that after I left the window Felix took a break, she said her entire check in process took 3 minutes.Inefficiency abounds. It really makes me wonder if Felix was reading everyone's entire history to entertain himself.Avoid this pharmacy at all costs.

Had a systems issue and was not able to process insurance for me and the two customers in front of me. Poor attitude of staff: rude and condescending, both to me and witnessed to other customers. After being hung up on three times on the phone, and waiting for 20 minutes in person, I was told that they could not process my insurance, and they asked me to pay $200. For comparison, I then had my prescription sent to the nearby CVS in Redwood City. They had my prescription filled and ready with $0 copay within 20 minutes. This should not be an open pharmacy.

This pharmacy is the absolute worst. I was left on hold indefinitely, constantly being reassured someone would attend to me ‘in a minute’ but no one ever did. It’s evident they have no regard for their customers’ time or concerns. Such a simple query shouldn’t result in hours of waiting. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional.This happened on the 13th of Oc 2023 from 11 am to 11:50 am to just ask for a quick question

Had to go for a vaccine today. The pharmacist, the person I actually went to see, was lovely - the pharmacy assistant was horrible.Everyone was standing in a loooong line, there was no sign, so folks lined up to ask where to go. When I got to the front, he would only say ‘pick-ups’. He did this over and over to everyone behind me and annoyed all of us.
