Plenty of stuff to look at and sift through. I just wish that they would get a newer display for their jewelry/watches section, as it is very difficult to look at them through the heavily scratched glass.

They recently add an unnecessary policy of no backpacks allowed and they kicked me out just because I had a backpack on. I used to shop here before and there was never a problem.
You can install some cameras to make sure people wont steal from you.
Most of the stuff you have is crapy anyway. You best believe I am never coming back. Kicking out a returning customer just because they walked in with a backpack is so rude. I didn't even do anything.
Awful customer service beravo!

This location is ok overall, but shoppers be aware on the 50% discount days the go through the store the night before and take out all good or decent merchandise. They store it all in the receiving room. The 50% off is actually the day that they use to clear out all unwanted Item that have not been selling. Probably best to go there normal selling days and not sell days.

Mega thrift! Selection is maddening! Everything you can think of but you have to dig
PRO:
- Tons of stuff, rows and rows and rows!
- So much clothing, unbelievable!
- Wedding dresses!
CON:
- Free but limited parking, maybe less than 25. Sounds like a lot, but it’s not enough, it’s very popular here
- Things are thrown in a pile in some cases
- Not all items clean as other reviewers noted
- Not a lot of toys
- Not super cheap
SUMMARY:
There’s a lot here. Look up near the kids section and you’ll see a dozen wedding dresses on the wall. Funny, I didn’t see a lot of cookware. And I doubt the electric stuff is tested. But a fun day looking for hidden deals.

They get everything for free and sell it at an unfair price!!!! I wonder who they help in the community with all the money they make? Way over priced and I will never drop anything off here again. Id rather give it to someone in need for free! Shut this place down!!!

There's a sad lack of quality thrift shops in Fremont ever since my beloved Thrift town closed about five years ago. Recently, we were visiting a store in San Carlos and I looked up thrift shops nearby and came across Thrift center. I was amazed from the moment I watched through the doors. It's clean, very well organized, large, and the items there are higher quality than I've seen another thrift shops. We left with a beautiful leather office chair that was $25, marked at 50% off, so I practically stole it at $12.50. There were some beautiful designer blouses that I snagged, at such low prices that I could not believe my eyes! My companion got four Quality shirts and we left having paid only $43 for everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and there are quite a few employees always around, tidying up, or adding new clothes to the racks. All of the employees I tried speaking with only spoke Spanish, but the nice gentleman at the checkout spoke English. My only complaint is that the clothes are not arranged by size, So you have to do some digging to find your size. That could be a bit time-consuming when it comes to men's pants. But the clothes ARE arranged by color, which is nice.. The parking lot is behind the store. You can park on the street directly behind the store and walk through the small parking lot to get to the store. There's also driveway entrance that you can't see very well, immediately after the gas station. All in all, I can't wait to get back there with some friends. It's definitely worth the Dumbarton bridge toll!

Items are not thrift store prices in general. First good item I seen was an ottoman that had dirt on it priced at 50.99. Finally found a good thrift store priced item (a floor lamp) priced $15.99 I am excited about this excellent and rare find in this ’thrift center’. Also, found a John Daily Golf Towel at $3.99 and a Christmas Ornament at $1.99, so those were decent. Once it came time to check out, the lady called the manager on the walkie talkie bc she didn’t like the price they set it at. A man came and said yeah this is wrong and they claimed someone changed the price. I realize that people do that sometimes, and by claiming that in the front of the store despite the tag being in perfect shape. i was pretty embarrassed… so I proceeded to point out to them, and other customers that were listening..that the tag was in perfect condition and has not been tampered with and that it’s their fault they priced it at what they did. Long story short…They said no, and doubled the price on me. I still purchased it bc I explained to them that I thrift every day and do this for work and that I will not be back bc this is not a nice or fair way of doing business.

Let's start with the cons: small parking lot, can be difficult to find on first visit, only two dressing rooms, stuff is not sorted by size whatsoever. A high % of clothing items appeared stained or ripped. If you're like me and searching for certain brands, it's very difficult because they staple the price tags right there. Oh and they ruin books by writing prices on them with permanent marker. Pros: lots of great finds, including name brands. Large selection of clothes. Found a lot of gems in the book section as well as clothes. Low prices compared to Goodwill for most things. Overall, I'd return, but please stop writing prices on the books!

Friendly staff, decent collection, some days are better than other but gotta do that treasure hunting. Some days even got half off certain color-tags or items, bingo!
The parking sometimes can be annoying but not the store’s fault, just stupid drivers.
I shop and donate here quite often, gotta reuse-reduce-recycle !

Great prices. Amazing service. Bought some big furniture items and two gentlemen helped me put them in the truck. Super helpful. Highly recommend this place!

My absolute favorite thrift store on the Peninsula, been coming regularly for almost two decades and have found amazing treasures over the years. I now do a lot of upcycling projects so I get a lot of materials from here, including things like old cotton sheets and linens (which a lot of thrift stores don't even carry anymore). Staff is super nice even on sale weekends when the place is bumping, so please be patient and polite with them!
