Final quote was 50% higher than original quote. There were obvious items (door transitions, extra material) excluded on the original quote. Final quote was a little higher than others, but really felt like they intentionally started the process much lower thinking I would go along with the changes. Seemed like a dishonest/intentional practice.

The Floor Store charges a delivery fee. The fee is not to deliver products to your house, but to have them delivered to their store, so you can then pick them up. If I hadn't spent so much time to find a matching color of vinyl plank flooring for my project, I never would have paid for such a fee.

The install of our LVP was just completed by Kevin. We were VERY pleased with his excellent workmanship! Kevin meticulously installed the LVP, linking the new portion to the first portion we had done by The Floor Store in our dinning and kitchen, office areas. Kevin installed our new baseboard with care and they look GREAT!The business we have done with The Floor Store Team was spot on professional and fun from the start. The day we walked into their showroom and were met with a plethora of carpeting, LVP, et al samples. We had been to other flooring suppliers, but for us, The Floor Store had the selection we liked. Our salesperson, Gordon, was very helpful and courteous. We also worked with Chris, manager, and Laurie. Simply put, flooring purchases are a big investment. Go with the pros and you will be very pleased with the professional care you get with The Floor Store.

A great experience. The installers, Jeff and Jeff Sr. Couldn’t have been better. They and their team were friendly, Hardworking and did an amazing job on our floors. We love them !!!

Thanks to Larry and Cambria, I am able to update this review. They responded with every effort to fix the situation. We ended up replacing the entire area where the damage was done because the original tiles were no longer available. Cambria made sure we got a suitable replacement tile and the floor was quickly replaced. The installers that did the job were very fast and professional. I almost want to give 4 stars, but the wait and having to make a stink before getting timely customer service means its only 3.

We just had Cortec SPC floors (Pierpoint Walnut) installed throughout our entire home by The Floor Store in San Carlos through our Costco membership. Wow!! My favorite part of our entire home remodel are the floors; they are stunning! We couldn't be happier with the whole seamless experience and grateful for our floor installer, Emmanuel Ochoa. If you can request him, I highly recommend you do so. He is a meticulous craftsman; precise, thorough, and cares that every detail of the install is done properly. Even areas that you don't see are done beautifully. Thank you Emanuel for surpassing our expectations; hard to do if you knew how picky my husband and I are. We really enjoyed working with you. Due to a leak in my place, both my kitchen floor and my downstairs carpets had to be replaced. I went to the Floor Store in San Carlos and Keith was enormously helpful. He quickly found the carpet and kitchen floor I needed, and came out to my place to measure the floor the very next day. He showed me the document containing the measurements and it looked like a skilled architect had drawn them. A week later, the carpet and floor were installed. The installers were professional and did a great job. The prices were very reasonable. Highest rating.

This store has a terrible staff member that doesn't do what she should do.. help the customers. We have had two major purchases from this store and both ended up sub par due to the staff. I'm very disappointed with our experiences with this store. Go somewhere else.

The San Carlos floor store has such a knowledgeable and helpful staff. From the beginning to the end they helped set me at ease with all my questions with this being my first flooring job. The whole process was seamless. From ordering, to scheduling the job, and getting it installed. I felt completely confident throughout. THANK YOU TO THE WHOLE STAFF! I'll be back!

I would never recommend this store. We went in the first time and were unsure what we wanted. All the salespeople were sitting talking and we felt as if we were interrupting them. We then had their estimator come out to measure, then went and picked out both LVP and patterned carpet. When the quote came in it was considerably higher than we expected. Salesperson told us it was because of pattern and therefore it would be 40% waste. As The Floor Store CONSTANTLY advertises and Larry Flick is ALWAYS touting various sales we exchanged numerous emails with the salesperson. She NEVER went out of her way and frankly wasn't tremendously helpful at all. We instead went to other stores, obtained more quotes, found higher end patterned carpet at S&G along with fabulous LVP and an incredibly helpful salesperson at half the quote from The Floor Store so we took our business to S&G and couldn't be happier. The LVP looks amazing and now we can't wait for the carpet installation. ** Update: I appreciate the call and frank discussion with the Regional Manager today. I hope it leads to training and better customer service.

I found the showroom overwhelming and nothing had a price on it so I walked out. I don’t want to have to ask a clerk for a price on every single item as I browse to get ideas narrow down the possible options. It’s an incredibly frustrating shopping experience. Not worth my time.
