“It’s a small and quiet village. I enjoyed the greenery. There are a Safeway and a few shops in the area. Saw a Starbucks, a bakery, seafood & poultry, and 2-3 restaurants.”
“It's a small shopping mall right off the Alpine road on Highway 280, and I love that there are so many people with their dogs, and sometimes people bring their horses too.I guess it's an area where relatively wealthy people live, with antique cars. There are people with two bulldogs, a relaxed atmosphere, an Italian supermarket called Bianchini, a flower shop, or rather a nursery with an amazing selection of products, a coffee shop, and Mexican, Italian, Japanese, and Continental restaurants.”
“El Marsh Manor Mall, located in Redwood City, is a beautiful place to explore if you're the type of person who loves discovering new shops and restaurants. Located on Florence Street, this shopping center offers a wide range of services and shops, from Delucchi's Market, selling fresh and specialty products, to Freewheel Brewing Company, perfect for enjoying a great craft beer and maybe some live music. Plus, food options for all tastes: the delicious breakfast or brunch that awaits you at places like Los Gallos Taqueria and Squeeze In. With a friendly atmosphere and a list of community events (think free summer concerts), this area is worth a stop for a languid, pleasant afternoon.”
“What a delightful place, as it has the feel of a small town with so much that makes it big at heart.
It is the cross roads to many larger thoroughfares that in one direction you'll be near the Ocean and get to Halfmoon Bay or Pacifica the other way to the Bay and the US 101 to San Francisco or San Jose.
Back to the cross roads Carlmont Village has a fabulous Ace Hardware and great food flor dinning out or kitty corner a great little Safeway to get the right supplies to make your own masterpiece of culinary art.
Chase Bank is where I go it is across the street and it is always excellent Customer Service.
There is a lot more to say about this gem of a place, I do need to explore it more and when I learn of anything else I'll surely share it with you.
Sincerely,
Randy Chavez”
“What don't they have? Great experience. I found (Cosmic Apples).
They are very good. They have that special something that you cannot find at other markets.”
“I like this mall! The shops are nice, the grounds are clean and manicured nicely. The only frustrating thing is parking at times. It is difficult to find parking and for some reason, folks can't seem to park well. They parking in two spaces, park on the line so nobody can park next to them or they just park wherever they feel like it. I am not sure what this is about and it is terribly frustrating. I wish they had better security to address these concerns. Nobody likes to get a dented car door or be forced to literally squeeze into a parking space they can't get out of and nobody likes to wait behind an abandoned car parked at the curb with its hazards on because they didn't want to park and walk. There really should be some additional oversight for these concerns - it isn't ok and what about folks with mobility concerns? Park your car in between the lines, in an approved area and walk like everyone else. Pretty simple and considerate of everyone.”
“A great Ross location I'm Foster City near VISA headquarters, easy accessible via HWY-92 & 101. As it was the Thanksgiving week, it was somewhat more crowded than usual. They got so much more stuffs than the one in South Bay, I got lucky as I came up to see have my annual physicals at the San Mateo Medical Center. I was able to pick up an enameled cast iron Dutch oven, and a couple of loose stretchable knit shirts. Happy Camper?”
“Very convenient to have Rite Aid and Piazzas there. Shiki's has the best sushi, and I am generally not a fan, but I love theirs. The tempura is great, too. Nice to have Jamba Juice close by also.”
“One of the best shopping centers in the Bay area. It's just so pleasant to walk around such beautifully landscaped shopping , beautiful stores and beautiful people, especially during the holiday season. Always happy to come here.”
“Good price for plenty of food. I got the broccoli and beef, which was long broccoli, and I loved it. The sauce was great. I got it to go. It took me 4 days to eat it all.”
“Love the place. We come here regularly every weekends for the Asian supermarket (99 Ranch). The supermarket is always stocked up with Asian products and produces. Plus, this place is within 10 minutes driving from our place, so it’s pretty convenient. While we’re there, we basically would spend our brunch there, too. The Korean Soon Tofu soup, the Vietnamese New Sai Gon, and the Chinese Tai Wu restaurant are all good place to eat. We tried them all. The only place we never go is the pizza restaurant apologize but when we’re in Asian-vibe neighborhood, we prefer Asian cuisines. That’s out bias. There are other shops that are pretty convenient if you come for the market but have some other businesses to take care of. The optometry, the hair salon, the dry cleaners, the printing service, etc. Heck, they have a martial arts center here as well.Sometimes we need to do printing and international shipping so we often visit the UPS at this location. Nice staff and service. Extremely patient with our clumsiness and requests. The dessert store here is also delicious, so you can give it a try.”
“Quality and availability of products were great but the best part was the excellent service - Almichael and Chloe were very friendly, helpful, and overall amazing!”
“Kimmy and stumbled into this bay front area in Foster city. In plaza number of restaurants with outdoor dining. I ordered take out sishumi from kenta. Offered to let me and kimmy wait inside for order. Across street is paved bay trail path and access to shore. Beautiful clean and quiet. Enjoy. Kimmy gives two paws ? up.”
“Decent outdoor shopping center with a CVS, some small restaurants and some hobby stores. Restaurants are good and charming local spots, chain stores are meh. Overall, good for specific needs.”
“Primarily I go here to shop Safeway and sometimes use CVS. There's a very popular tPump store which is not my thing. You can also find a 5 Guys and a new sushi place just opened. There's also a Dry Cleaner and a couple other small shops.”
“It is a small restaurant center, in a beautiful place on the bay, near San Mateo, far from the noise of the city.
We are going to a very good pizzeria that you will find right there.
The views are incredible, it makes you want to stay and live!
Few people go, only those who live nearby. It's fantastic.”

“Busy high end shops and restaurants located in Palo Alto, California. It caters to the affluent clients in this plush zip code. It is almost always busy. So far with some economic difficulties elsewhere BUT it does not seem to affect these groups of clients as yet at the present time.”
“Road side store with souvenirs which was great we spent over hour there not knowing we spent so much time. It had a live band, deli and it was a gift shop, and store”
“This little shopping mall is anchored by an Asian supermarket. There are some Asian food options here - Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese. I usually go for the Vietnamese. I also get my haircut here at Hair Logic.”
“I love the fact that we have a Target nearby. We needed it. Always busy but mainly because they are the only retail store with various products for the East Palo Alto residents. Thank you.”
“Lots of stores and eateries plus safeway and CVS are in the same complex. Chase Bank and Barnes and Noble are also a stones throw away. From the other side of the track, it’s walking distance to downtown Redwood City. Ample free parking- what more can you ask for?”
