Rudy is very knowledgeable. Many mechanics send their customers to him for transmission issues. That is his forte. Of course he does great work diagnosing other problems as well. He will not "look" for problems that need fixes like many mechanics do. I like his honesty.

Stay away. The owner isn't honest and tried upselling me a new transmission instead of a repair kit. When I did get the repair done he charged me extra 3% for what I have no idea. Will not go here again because he is a CROOKService: Transmission

I maintain my cars myself and I see Rudi for heavier repairs only which necessitate shop work. Rudi is very upfront and genuine with customers. Something relatively rare in this industry. He is also very experienced and specialized not only in transmissions. He and his mechanics simply do the work, no flashy stuff, no pretenses or inflated cosmetics charges. Exactly what I need.

I was referred to Rudy from Ben at San Carlos Service & Tune-up Center and am so thankful to Rudy for taking the time out and fitting my vehicle repair into his schedule. Rudy was kind and understanding and repaired my vehicle in a very timely manner. I am so happy with the results and if I ever have any other issues involving my engine or transmission Rudy will be the person I call! Thanks so much Rudy!

Hi I am a college student. Rudy came by recommendation to work on my Infiniti transmission. I'm saddened to say that he had my car for about a months time with little to no communication. My car didn't reverse when I got it back from Rudy. He failed to fixed the problem. Didn't issue me the full refund he offered if any problems persisted. Please just take the time to find a mechanic who knows your car and will give you the best deal possible. This was a complete waste of time and money. I gave him my car for a month for him not to fix the problem and scam me out of a couple hundred dollars.

Rudy is a great guy, its hard to find mechanics like him. I had to get a breathalyzer out of lock out and it was already almost closing time. He stayed after hours just to help me. Thank you Rudy.

Quick response and fix. Transmission oil cooler line blew today less than a mile away from this shop. Rudy fixed the line, checked the levels, and had me back on the road in a few hours.
