I scheduled an appointment for a COVID-19 PCR test. I am a Registered Nurse and had been exposed to someone positive with COVID. I had been asymptomatic and negative for a few days using home rapid tests, however, I needed a negative PCR test to allow me to return to work. I drove to this site, but apparently this location did not have the swab supplies in stock. The person who help me, Ryan, called his regional manager who informed him that they have not ordered supplies for the PCR swab test in over a year, even though they claim to be a "flagship testing location." The regional manager said that she could not even place an order for shipment until the 17th of the month, which was 9 days after my scheduled appointment. What was most upsetting was Ryan's unprofessionalism. He was more concerned with falling behind on his appointment schedule, rather than assisting me with an alternative to their mistake. Ryan did not even apologize for them not having the necessary supplies, he simply suggested for me to exit his appointment room since he "had more blood draws waiting." This whole experience was very disappointing. This Quest location in San Carlos needs to do better.

This is place is CLOSED PERMENANTLY it appears. I went in mid-Fed 2024 and they still had sign up from 2023 saying the location was closed until Dec 31, 2023. I feel sorry for anyone dropping of samples in the bins.

System is a hot mess. Showed up at San Carlos for a walk in - checked on line and it confirmed it was open. Arrived to find it was closed for a month. Tried to make appt on line for San Mateo - but they do not provide appts times on line so I have to call and communicate with a robot - It literally too 10 minutes for the robot to recognize the spelling of my name Finally managed to get an appt. Just arrived and their computer does not recognize my appt. Decided on stand by and some oh so kind employee wandered into the lobby and wished me luck noting they have two appts every 10 minutes. Miss the days when medical was about the patient

7:20 am appointment no one here! I'm on time even early as a curtesy... are you kidding me? Now 5 mins past my appt after I followed the check in procedures on the reminder text they sent me. Lights off door locked so unless they are sticking a needle in my arm before they open the place I will be late for my next appt ! So inconsiderate and unprofessional! Last time I was here they lost my results... I should have known! Waiting til 7:35 out of curtesy to them...... wow need to leave for my next appt that need me to get a blood test ! Hopefully they can send me somewhere else! Warning to all if you have choices go elsewhere.....rating here says it all

I had an appointment and when I got there they were closed. I was never notified that they closed. The blood test I was having done required fasting. 22 hours later I was starving and rather upset.

I was referred by HireRight a employer background screening agency. The team at HireRight has a website that lets you pick a place and appointment to complete the drug panel. Quest diagnostics showed up as an option and had availability. There was no notice of site closure. I arrived at their office and the sign on the door stated they were closed until December 4 due to staff shortages. I dug deeper and as I researched jobs at quest diagnostics in San Carlos, there were no jobs in the company & the company was not hiring. This is very sad... this is a sign of economic downturn. This review was written to not only share my experience but also what has been a challenge for clinics and small office settings in recent months

Was told didn’t have the kit for the specific test. Then was told I should have been given the kit by the doctor ordering the test. Then they found the kit. Then they said they can't still do the test because my appointment was after when FedEx picked up those types of samples. Worst appointment experience ever. Don't go there.

I had an appointment at 10:20am but showed up at 9:50am. I was taken in at 10am and was out by 10:15am. I was treated my Mark and he was very thorough and pleasant.

They have really limited hours. I showed up during the available hours only to check in to a kiosk that discourages walk-ins. Sure enough I am greeted finally at the cut-off time with a weak apology as they helped another patron. This place is unprofessional.

Ive been waiting 2 hours to get someone to see me the staff here are rude and move so slow i would not recomend this quest
