5 stars for My Gym San Carlos! I have been bringing my 2 children here for a few months now (together for the siblings class or separately for the toddler classes). It’s well run with thoughtful execution. Megan, the director of operations, is usually there at most classes, she is the heart and soul of MyGym! She is energetic and enthusiastic, she knows the kids’ names, and I love how she gently enforces rules and good behavior. I also love the setup- it’s easy to view kids in the gym area and I can relax with the younger sibling in the waiting area while the older one is in class- not many places I can go to do that! (For reference, we used to go to the Little Gym in Millbrae, but we make the drive for MyGym instead! Better and more unique class offerings, and the gym is nicer and cleaner in my opinion).

MyGym San Carlos is awesome!! The staff are incredible, the space is both adventurous and safe, the programs are creative, fresh, and fun -- we even had a birthday party here, and it went wonderfully! Just an excellent spot, can't say enough good things!

I cannot recommend My Gym San Carlos enough! We had a wonderful experience with teachers Ben, Meghan and Leslie! They are super friendly and pay keen attention towards the safety and comfort of kids. My daughter enjoyed her time there. Teacher Ben took a lot of care of her so she feels comfortable in each class and develops too!If you are looking for a place to channelize your kids’ energy at a very affordable place, My Gym San Carlos is a great one!

Awesome place. My 3 yr old’s absolute favorite place out of all her activities. We ended up going regularly to the weekday practice sessions on top of her weekend classes. All included in her regular fee.

I have loved taking both of my children to this gym for over a year now. We just recently had a joint birthday for my daughter (4yo) and son (2yo). Teacher Megan was phenomenal and did an incredible job engaging kids in both age groups, which is not an easy thing to do! Multiple parents came up to me afterwards complimenting the gym and teacher. On a weekly basis, I continue to be impressed with the teachers and the facility. I highly recommend My Gym San Carlos and look forward to both of my children participating in many more classes in the future.

Both my 3 year old daughter and I were really excited to take a tour, and get her signed up for some future classes. We were about to walk into the facility when I was stopped by a worker who asked if my 3 year old daughter and I had masks. I put mine on, but my daughter has a hard time breathing with hers. Because my daughter wouldn't wear a mask, the worker didn't allow us to take a tour. I'm all for staying safe and healthy, but at this point, if there's no fever or any other sign of bad health, the mask mandate has been lifted for quite some time, and is usually an optional recommendation. Not only did they lose this customer's business, but after recently sharing my experience with a few other mothers who used to attend, I found out they either stopped taking their children to that location altogether, or signed them up at the Palo Alto location instead, due to the very same reason.

I have been taking my two years old son to My-Gym for about one year so far. We haven't had any problems so far most of the time since they require kids to use the mask above age 2. The transition to using a mask wasn't as hard as we imagined, but running behind our energetic son, making adjustments to the mask falling below his nose while running, became part of the process. Today, one of the teachers handed out another mask so he could keep the nose covered, but my son became agitated. While I was dealing with his tantrum, one of the other moms asked me to leave because I struggled to put the new mask on. I can understand that as I see it from a parent's perspective, but what bothered me was another teacher coming to my two years old son and telling him, "I'm sorry buddy, but you have to go" she opened the gate and asked us to leave the place. She didn't even talk to me! I came to tears in the parking lot while trying to understand what happened in such a short time while still struggling to calm my son down. I have four more classes paid which I'm definitely not planning to use. I prefer to give up on those classes than come back to see the personnel and mom who did not understand I was trying to handle a situation with my son in such a disrespectful way.

This branch of My Gym is fantastic. Clean, attentive to Covid protocols, and excellent communication on the part of staff members. Great balance of structure and unstructured play. The staff were patient and careful with my young children.
