I was walking by after breakfast and decided to give it a try because the hair on my sides needed to be clipped. I spoke with Jessica and she said she could do a Fade so i said yes , please Fade the Sides. I sat in the Chair and immediately she grabs a clipper with No Guard and starts Shaving the Sides to the Skin or Zero. Jessica then start asking if she Cut the Top Short and says that having a Pony Tail is Bad for men because it Pulls at the Hairs in Front. I did Not feel comfortable having her Touch the Top because i have never been to this business and it took me a long time to grow my Hair Long. Jessica kept asking and then asked me if I was Religious because in some religions they don’t allow Hair Cutting. I kept saying No and at this point she mentioned my Grey Hair in my Goatee and commented that it didn’t look good. I told her that I don’t Dye My Hair because i am comfortable with having Grey and don’t want to be a Man who Dyes facial and Head Hair. At this point i really just wanted to leave so I stayed quiet till she was done. I paid her $30 plus $10 Tip and Left. I regret Tipping for a Haircut that was supposed to be a Fade and was literally a Buzz. I and glad I didn’t let Jessica cut the Top of My Hair cause she would have definitely wacked it off short :(

Jessica is one of a kind! So thoughtful & pays close attention to details. Cuts mens & women hair too. Conveniently located with plenty of parking.

i wish I can rate it a zero to be honest this place is not a great place to get a hair cut my brother went to get a cut and she didn't cut nothing when he came home he was the same and she charged 20$!!!! she almost. Also is not one of the cleanest places it's smells bad too

I have been going to Jessica for 14 years. She's amazing. She will be as fast or as long as want. She has no filter, but she is the most entertaining hair stylist in the area. I think she is really talented. Everyone I have recommended has been happy. She will work whenever you want an appointment. I have used her for corporate head shots and before public speaking events .

Jessica is a straight shooter and says her mind which can be misconstrued as rude and disrespectful. So as you can see from the female reviews, Jessica got some girls feelings hurt. Jessica also has pulled that number on me, during my first visit - telling me things anyone can consider to be MYOB. But I stood my ground and put her in her place nicely although some of her brutally honest unfiltered opinions are true, I just didn't wanna hear it. Anyhoo, fast forward to now. She still expresses her honest opinion and if I like it, I take it and if I don't , I tell her I disagree nicely. It's only the ladies that seem to complain. Guys love her. I love her now too. She's like this eccentric grand aunt to me. Jessica is an expert on everything to do with hair X 40 yrs so it might be a good idea to keep an open mind when listening to her opinion, Just don't get offended and disagree if you feel strongly about something - Jessica is in her early 70's so pls show her some respect. She means well. She just now fixed my hairb in a way that it looks like my 20's but of course I was balking at first - ''twas a genius move.

I went in without any appointment and she took me in right away as there was no body there. That should have been my first red flag. I asked her to give me layers but she did something totally different. First she cut my hair dry which I didn't understand why that should have been red flag #2. She said that cutting hair dry gives you a better idea of the final product. She then started giving me the haircut she wanted to give me. I asked for layers she gave me what she called "Asian haircut" red flag #3 I kept telling her that I just wanted layers. She used thinning shears all around which gave me an uneven haircut. She did not blend or didn't know how to blend my hair. I waited a week to see if perhaps styling it different ways would give me better results but my hair was so uneven it was impossible. I will never, ever, ever go back there. I had to go to another salon a week later to see if they could do anything to fix it. I'm glad I had enough length left to get a decent haircut from the other place.

I am so upset with the lady who cut my daughter's hair! She was so unprofessional and very rude. My daughter who is a young college student went in for a hair cut, the Asian lady asked so many questions and when my daughter answered she would put her down! Telling her to change her major in college because she won't be anything and won't make money. It's all about money! My daughter has a scar from a tumor on her chest, she went thru so much growing up and that lady told her that when she gets enough money to get it removed because it's ugly. The nerve!!! 😠Do not go here she will mess up your hair too. No business for you!
