I've been going to Laurel Cleaners for a few years, mostly for tailoring but also dry cleaning on occasion. They always do a wonderful job, especially on original hem for jeans. Today, though, I became a customer for life! The zipper on my daughter's Halloween costume broke while trying it on at 4pm on October 30. I panicked, and rushed it over to this shop. She took a look and told me she could fix the zipper before noon the next day! After being in panic mode, the service and accommodation was priceless for this mama... and she still only charged me $10 for the emergency fix. I can't say enough about how happy I am I knew to bring it here!! They are amazing.

I needed a bridesmaid dress hemmed and thought I'd check out Laurel Quality Cleaners since it's within walking distance from my house. Linda did a fantastic job with the dress and turned around within a week. The price was very reasonable as well. I'll definitely consider bringing any other items I need hemmed in the future!

I have been a patron of Laurel Quality Cleaners when new management took it over. Linda, Bernard, and her son, Alan are excellent stewards of the business. Linda is exceptional, not only in delivering excellent customer service for the care of my garments but her sewing skills and thorough fixes of anything I bring in (my grandma's handmade duvet cover that needed reinforced seams, adding patches to my beloved sweatshirt that my Mom purchased for me, and traditional hemming of pants) T's excellent. She even engineered the fix of a zipper that had failed to properly close on a beloved purse without the need to replace it! Linda and company are amazing. Your clothes and personal articles will get the care they deserve!

I felt weird about getting my pajama pants hemmed, but I realized it was super necessary! I emailed Laurel Quality Cleaners and she assured me that she could definitely hem both of the pants. The service was so great-- even on the day I went it seemed really busy. I felt taken care of and came back the next weekend and it fits perfectly! The price was great and it was a really satisfying experience!

We had such a great experience working with Linda on curtain alterations for our whole home. We did a remodel last year and earlier this year purchased curtains and sheers for pretty much every room in the house. All needed shortening and some needed two panels to be joined into one. Linda took great care to understand what we needed, altered everything exactly as we had hoped and with a high level of quality, kept us informed along the way, was very fair with her pricing, and was just an overall pleasure to work with. We would absolutely bring any future alterations we need to her again.

The best tailor store in San Carlos downtown. They have the best quality dry clean and the tailor is very knowledgeable on tailoring. The price is super reasonable and the people are nice ! Service is awesome. I'll come back for sure.

I will no longer go anywhere else for my dry cleaning and tailoring needs. I was in a rut about two weeks ago, trying to find a place that would be able to handle what I needed done in a few days time. The lady on the line answered with such a sweet, but business toned voice. When I told her my situation she said, "Okay, we can do it. No problem." San Carlos was not too far but it was further than the other places I called. However, the other places had some out of the galaxy pricing and many of them were not opened at the listed times. After receiving my measurements, and fitting my requests to the last note, everything fit very well. I was pleasantly surprised at how well, and how fast the work was done. I let her know (and I am embarrassed at how her name escapes now) that I will not go anywhere else for my cleaning and tailoring needs as long as I am in the Bay Area. What's also amazing is that SHE WENT TO SCHOOL TO LEARN WHAT SHE DOES! YES! There is nothing wrong with learning as you go, or being self taught, but there is a sense of peace when you know someone was trained for what they do! What's even more amazing is how humble she was, and that she said, "I tried my best". Well she did it and hit it out of the park! I highly recommend LAUREL QUALITY CLEANERS for all of your cleaners and tailoring needs whether you're visiting or you're a local. This is MY place, and I hope you can make it YOURS too.

Have used this multiple times for dry cleaning, pet hair removal for clothes, and alterations - have always had a fantastic experience. The quality of work is very high.

This used to be a good place. They ruined an expensive women's top that said dry clean only. They did fine with shirts and a tux, but would not take anything of value here.

admittedly, I haven't tried the cleaning yet, but Linda's alteration work has been excellent and very fairly priced, much better than competitors, who asked for considerably more money for the same operation...she also fixed a clogged zipper for me for free...I will be sure to give her a try for my cleaning!
