I was in the store today and found a jacket on sale. There were 5 people working. Four of them acted like I was invisible--did not acknowledge me in any way, even when I was standing at the counter to pay for the jacket. The one friendly staffer who had helped me in the dressing room seemed uncomfortable that the others were ignoring me. Two were talking to each other; another was talking (about personal stuff) to a customer. Then someone came from the back and, from that conversation, I assumed she was the owner. Still only one person paying any attention to me and she finally went behind the counter to ring me up (apparently not her role) at which point one of the others said she would do it. I got a perfunctory thank you when she finally handed me my jacket. I will never shop here again.

On Tuesday 8/3/21, I was strolling in downtown San Carlos with my daughter and came to this store front. We lamented that it was closed because it looked so inviting from the outside. Everything looked so cute from what we could see. We were window shopping and chatting and planning when we could come back another time, a time when JoeyRae would be open, when a young woman came up to the door from her car (in the window reflection, I saw someone drive up and park, and I followed her figure in my periphery). She unlocked the door, went in, and locked it behind her. Woah! Couldn't even acknowledge us, say hello or tell us something like, "Good morning! We open at 10am." She didn't even look at us. Bad manners = Rude = Bad business. I won't be back, even though I didn't have a chance to make it in the door :-(

The best boutique I have found in downtown San Carlos! The owners are so nice and helpful, and all the clothes are high quality. They see and feel the clothes before they purchase for the boutique and you can tell they put a lot of thought into their curation. Everything is so soft and well made, a lot of the clothes are also made by sustainable and good practice companies.

I love boutiques. You always can find nice gems. I met Mom, Lynne, the & one of the daughters..very nice folks. Helped us while we were shopping and was very friendly.

Fantastic boutique, I should call it beautique because everything was absolutely stunning, from the window display to the clothes and various gift items. Very pleasant and good vibes. Definitively if you are in 'San Carlos shopping mode' any given Saturday morning (like I was yesterday, you must check this out).

Lovely shop! Well appointed with everything from "in-a-hurry" gift items (candles, jewelry, caps, etc.) to well-selected apparel including some with a very loving and/or edgy vibe! I'm on the gray side of life but I can still rock and roll. Kudos for a good vibes shop still hanging in on Laurel Avenue!
