Ruined $600 jacket and charged me $40 for that. I gave my Brooks Brothers jacket to this tailor to cover a tiny hole made by mole. Tailor cover it in the way every person can see that from a couple metres. Basically I can’t wear it anymore to public places since it’s a shame. Made me pay the full price for horrible work. Will not come here anymore.

Service was good. Although, was told to come back in 10days, which I did but items weren't ready...wasn't critical, but always disappointing. My understanding cost was going to be in neighbor of 80ish$......was surprised mid three figures$ cost. I probably misunderstood...I'll go back in future if repairs are needed.

I love Queenie! She has expertly tailored various pieces and handled special requests over 5+ years for me. Cleaning is always prompt and excellent. Love getting to see her. Highly recommended.

The owner Quinn has a great smile and always greet you by name. I bring my pants in to shorten the hem, she always does it just right.Recently I had to take in the waist for a pair of dress pants - Quinn did it just right- perfect.

I took my jean jacket to Queen to get some patches sewn on. As soon as I walked in she greeted me with a friendly smile and personality. I was explaining that I wanted to put patches on my jacket and rather than just slapping them where I wanted, she insisted on me putting the jacket on and making sure I was happy with how they would look. I wanted a patch stitched on a front pocket and she informed me that it would have to be sewn shut. She was going to open the pocket and stitch so I could still use the pocket, but she told me her thread would only be a 70% match to the original color so I left the decision up to her to just see through and close the pocket. I got 5 patches sewn on, plus one of her custom made face masks (which is now my favorite face mask) and the total was extremely reasonable. Her thread colors were such an amazing match to the colors on the patches. This is my new go to place for getting any more patches out on or alterations.

She does fantastic work! She tailored 3 suits and a blazer for my son and husband. She is attentive and cares about doing a good job. Everything turned out great and it was ready when she promised it. She is my go to from now on!

Queenie is an amazing tailor. I went to her with oversized shirts that looked bad on me, and asked her if she could make them slimmer. She was patient, she explained the process, took measurements, set my expectations, and sent me on my way. They turned out great! Thanks, Queenie!!

I had seven pants I needed hemming done and found Holly Cleaners and Alterations on Yelp! The nice woman who owns/manages the shop said it's been in her family for some years and she has continued running the establishment. I like supporting family-run businesses. I was able to get my pants back the following week and as-promised, all the pants were hemmed using the same color thread. Not all places get this right as some use generally the same color thread but one can see the difference up close. The work was done well and I paid about $15 a pair. Not cheap, but not expensive either for the work. I will be back in the future for additional services.

This place is a fixture in San Carlos, super-nice, family business. They do great tailoring, and custom work as well. They make their own masks too, if you're looking to match your outfit or dress up the family. And dry cleaning, of course.

Our family went to different alteration places in the Peninsula for more than a decade until 4 years ago when our daughter stumbled on this place to get her prom dress altered. Sure enough she was so happy how her gown turned out. She raved how nice Quien was and how awesome she's done her work. I was intrigued by my daughter's enthusiasm cause she's usually critical, so I brought my clothes, including this particular fave pants that has "ambitious" alteration need. To say the least, I was Wowed by Quien's work which spelled Perfection. I was really, especially, impressed what she did the way she fixed my fave "ambitious" fashionable pants. I was thrilled! We're happy to finally have a go-to place for the past few years for our dry clean and alterations needs. Besides, we love seeing Quien's warm, no nonsense persona. She's simply Amazing !!
