When we planned our major house remodel in 2013, I wasn't just looking for a company to install a home AV & automation system. I was looking for a partnership to be with us long term to support our systems (literally keep the lights on) and to help us with technology upgrades to stay current. I could not be happier with the partnership I've built with the folks at Hermary's, from the sales team, technical support team and the installation team. During our remodel, they worked with us and then closely with our architect and general contractor to ensure plans were integrated and the teams worked together to get the infrastructure installed to support our systems (whole-house audio/video over HDBaseT managed by Control4 along with a highly secure wired and wireless network setup). The system has been working almost 10 years now and I've always had great service, speedy response, and have been through a few technology upgrade cycles that were expertly handled. Everyone I've worked with at Hermary's has been courteous, professional, and are great at communicating the big changes and the break-fix issues all the way through the process. After 10 years of working together, I am confident I found the long-term partnership I was looking for. Thank you Hermary's Team!

My previous monitoring company got acquired by these guys. Terrible customer service experience. They want to charge over $500 for a 2hr site visit and over $160 for every 15 mins over that. Maybe they think that we're in The Emirates and people just pay whatever without even comparing rates. On top of that they refuse to release my hardware (the remote code) to get service from a different company. But they were "great" to offer to fix the issue at their price. This sounds illegal!

I have been working with Hermary's for about 10 years. They designed an equipment rack for our home and installed all our TVs, outdoor cameras and WiFi. If a problem comes up, they are very easy to communicate with and make every effort to fix the problem ASAP. Everyone I have met is knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Would highly recommend.

We recently hired Hermary's for a full home automation system after months of analysis and discussions with home automation providers in our area. We chose Hermary's due to their professionalism and dedication to high quality work. During implementation, the Hermary's team was thoughtful in overcoming challenges, obsessed with detail and provided an exemplary result. Every team member that we encountered, whether networking, rack implementation, construction, audio/visual, project management, etc. went above expectations and have been wonderful to work with throughout. The final product is absolutely amazing and the Hermary's team is always ready to support us. I highly recommend Hermary's for anyone who is looking for a home automation, A/V, or networking project as their work is up to the standard that they promote. We are very fortunate to have found this company and look forward to continue in working together.

I recently used Hermary's to upgrade the audio/video, network, lighting and automation in my home. I found the staff to be professional, friendly and dedicated. They finish the job to the last detail. Great customer service and can depend on them return my call in a timely manner. They know what they are doing from installing the system to fine tuning. I've used Hermary's in the Bay Area and Nevada. They did an outstanding job in both places. In Nevada they had to come in and cleaned up local company horrible job. I would recommend them to anybody. Thank you Hermary's for your good service and great follow up and continue follow up.

This is for the interview I had , there is a someone else here that described them as shady, well my interview that I just had recently, John had NO respect , never made eye contact, and always on you're dang phone! and I can only tell you from my personal life experiences when people do that, they can care less you're facial expressions told me everything. You do very well online when others can see how you appear to treat customers. But you were incredibly rude in my home. Placing a call when I had already asked you to leave, exposing me and my family to your fingerprints as you touched our light buttons despite my verbal insistence not to touch anything in the house given the Covid-19 reality. As far as I am concerned I was more than polite in telling you emphatically (eventually with profanity since you would not otherwise listen to me) to leave our home immediately. Which you only did after placing a phone call. You are unscrupulous. Original review: These are very shady people. Be very careful working with these people, because they remotely control your internet, lighting, tv, etc. We moved into our home in August and started work with Hermary's immediately (even before we moved in). It is now March and the lights and tv don't work properly. When I complained, my issues were sent to Clarence Hermary himself. I was expecting a very apologetic phone call but instead I got, "Who are you? I don't like it when my cell phone is given out and when I have to call people. You signed a contract and you have to pay me." Problems are still not fixed.

I would like to have been able to not leave any stars. They merged/purchased our original home security company. We were with the original company for close to 9 years and never an issue. Hermary's apparently have 4 employees that deal with customer issues,, finally when reached I was told that Hermarys, would come and show us ways to upgrade our older equipment as I had requested. Turns out they were no shows for both appointments,,, I even got an excuse it was because of the rain that they didn't come on the later of the two appointments. I was asked to give them a chance to show us what they could offer and make another appointment. I declined because of the payments that they were excepting that their one rep said they would take care of.

Dave at the San Carlos location was very helpful and patient in dealing with my old Sony receiver. It is far below his normal level of sound systems. Three other places had all been worthless. If you visit, bear in mind that the company has moved a few blocks away from its old El Camino location in San Carlos.

David provided excellent guidance on my options, and was willing to tailor the installation to a tight space. While we had a few stops and starts due to schedules and availability of his team, David and his crew installed a TV, sound bar & subwoofer, WiFi and cable hookup really professionally. All the components are first-rate. Very happy with the final result.

My quest for Smart Home Automation ended with Hermarys. I cannot say enough great things about their team. From my initial meeting with Dana and Clarence, to the installation and subsequent excellent technical support I've received from John and Tiago, my experience has been fantastic. I highly recommend Hermarys.

This company is amazing. I couldn't have been happier with the process from start to finish. These guys are used to installing in very large homes and working on huge projects. Ours was somewhere in the middle. Four TV systems integrated with lighting and security. They ( Dana specifically) walked us through all of our options and were willing to work within our budget constraints, i.e. they made recommendations where we could cut and let us transparently know what we would be sacrificing. They even helped us integrate with our alarm system, doorbell system, and internet. The team helped us get an outdoor TV too that has been a major hit all around. The install went exactly as scheduled and the Hermary's team was courteous, on time, and respectful of our property. The support thereafter (John specifically) has also been absolutely top notch. Helping us via phone whenever there was a problem or snafu with the new technology. Many times this has been operator error, and they have never made us feel stupid or uninformed. Recently I wanted to add headphones to our TV set because we are in a loft-like format with teens wanting to stay up late and watch TV etc. I wanted to get this done before Xmas hit. I was having trouble with the equipment Hermarys had researched and recommended and called for help. Caught them during their corporate holiday party. Did they help? You bet. And we got the headphones added on in time to keep my nephews et al happy. I have absolutely no problem paying for pros who know what they are doing and offer exceptional service. In fact, I want to pay for that and I look for that. Thank you to Hermary's for really making what is a complicated part of life now days, as simple as possible.
