Can't say enough good things about this place. I've been going here for years, and the experience has always been great. Owner is a class act. I was pretty traumatized from my last experience at a different body shop where I didn't think I can ever trust again (see my review for California Auto Center in Burlingame), but this business is nothing like that one. This is my go-to place for all my car repair needs.

These guys took the time 30 minutes out of their day to help a stranger...no appointment I just pulled up and asked for help. My trunk was stuck closed....they didn't hesitate and stopped working to help me and got my trunk to work. Class Act and very kind.

I have used this place for years. The head mechanic Warren is fantastic. I trust him with all my cars and trucks, American or European. If it has an engine he can fix it. The prices are affordable and they have great customer service. I recommend them 100%.

Great experience! Contacted them via yelp messaging to inquire if they install tires (they do and reasonably priced). They said I could have my new tires, which I was ordering online, shipped to them so I didn't have to lug them in. They easily accommodated moving up my appt day as the tires arrived early. My appt took exactly as long as they stated and the staff were friendly. Will definitely go back. :)

San Carlos Auto Works provides great auto services in the neighborhood. I found San Carlos Auto Works via Groupon. I purchased a service Groupon, called to make an appointment. Sam helped me upon my arrival. He finished the service work nice and clean, quicker than the estimated time. There was no sales push at all. I will come back to San Carlos Auto Works again and highly recommend it to my friends.

I had an exceptional experience at San Carlos Auto Works. I messaged them yesterday asking for a quote on transmission fluid change and power steering fluid flush. They answered me almost immediately and asked when I could come in. I booked the appointment for today at 10am and they said the service would take about two hours total. I dropped my car off this morning at 10, they were super welcoming and told me to expect the car to be done in about two hours. I got a call an hour and a half later saying it was done early! Everything was very easy when I picked the car up and the total came out to almost exactly what they quoted me (one dollar off). Thank you San Carlos Auto Works!

These guys are very honest & hard working. As a woman I have complete trust in them that they wouldn't try to sell me something that I don't need. I have gained this trust through multiple interactions that I have had with them. One time they worked for hours on an issue & because they couldn't fix the issue, they refused to accept any payment. Another time when I developed an issue with my breaks after a few months, they immediately offered to replace all parts at zero cost & no labor charge either. They are very trustworthy and I highly recommend them.
