Does not always honor manufacturer’s warranty.
We ordered an office chair and a rolling stool from ErgoDirect. Both were from Office Master Seating. Both items had errors when we received them, but Ergo’s customer service was very easy to work with to get those issues resolved. Fast forward 3.5 years later… still love my rolling stool, and the chair is in excellent condition with a couple of exceptions. The chair is still under warranty, so we submitted a claim for the hydraulic lift malfunctioning. A replacement lift was shipped to us straight away and greatly appreciated.
The other issue was the arm rest pads. Typically, I wouldn’t expect a consumable part to be covered under a warranty but the manufacturer does in fact cover them for 5 years with normal use, as long as the damage is not due to misuse or abuse. Our arm pads were perfect in appearance except they were tearing on the underside where the pad gets screwed into the frame of the chair. I suspect that the manufacturer screwed the pads onto the frame too tightly and after 3.5 years of the pressure of an arm resting on it, the pad broke at those screw points. As required for the warranty claim, we sent photos. Ergo and/or OM Seating claimed that the pads weren’t under warranty, then claimed the photos looked like the arm had been hit multiple times, which is untrue. I explained they were likely mistaking reflections for impact scars. I sent more photos at different angles and asked that they appeal to OMSeating to cover the warranty. They repeated that the arm pads would not be covered and sent me a link to purchase the pads.
Unfortunately, I have no other recourse because OM Seating would/could not discuss the matter with me as the consumer. They insisted all issues have to come through the dealer and would not offer the consumer any service whatsoever. If the dealer or manufacturer doesn’t want to fully consider claims rather than assuming, then they should exclude arm pads from the warranty coverage.

ErgoDirect has the best customer service of any company I've dealt with. They treat you as a valued customer, and have called me personally to ask whether my order was made as intended.
When I ordered a tall chair by accident, they noticed my height and asked if I meant to ordee the midback.
When I ordered QTY 2 of an item that is sold as a pair, they called to make sure if I meant to order 4 or 2.
I greatly appreciate the efforts of ErgoDirect, especially that of Daniel in sales whom has personally assisted me, and I would gladly refer friends and family to them for future orders.

I bought a custom-sized sit stand desk and 2 heavy-duty adjustable arms for computer monitors. All is very high quality and works just as you would like/expect it to. They spent as much time as I needed helping me to select the products.
And then throughout the process of ordering and receiving the coordination and communication both with me and within the company was flawless!! In particular, Annada was great. I highly recommend this company.

This place is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY and customer service was horrible.
I’m planning to start a small business and so I would like to get 20 sets of ergo office furniture. I picked this place since it seems they have everything I want (monitors arms, chairs, standing desk, keyboards etc.) .
After I checked google and Yelp, it says open to all, so I drove like 20 miles to the store but the door was locked and the paper on the door says the store is by appointment only.
I was like “ok may be I should call first before I decide to come, can’t expect too much” so I called the number on the door and want to see if I can schedule an appointment or i may have luck to have someone nearby to open the door for me.
The lady who picked up calls make me feel like I’m idiot and her attitude was like she didn’t want to talk to me. When I mentioned something like “oh I don’t see by appointment only in your website”, she just said “there’s no one in the office.”
Then I asked which day/time the store will be opened, she said “not sure, I need to ask him(I guess it means the owner)” then she asked when will I be available, I’m done with this place so I just said I will think about it as I’m not sure if I want to drive all the way to this place again.
I’m not even expecting someone should fly to the store and serve me, but I assume showing understanding is pretty basic as customer service?
Very disappointed experience, Well I learn a lesson that I need to confirm the store info before I get there in person if this is a small business.
I’m sure you learn a lesson too as a business owner. It should be easy for you to update your website/google map/yelp but you failed to do so.

I had a problem with the adjustment of my chair, after several attempts I called customer service and spoke with Daniel and Nick. Both had a very calming effect on me. Nick was able to actually help me solve the problem with my chair by watching a video I sent and directing me to the levers to adjust my chair. He was very calming and positive with me from the beginning to the end. Because of this I highly recommend Ergo Direct and will buy future products with them.

Customer service, customer service...its the best! I cant say it enough. I had been looking for an ergonomic executive desk chair. Everything I was looking at was sold only on line, which meant no taking it for a test ride. Nazan answered all of my product questions, he even helped me choose size and comfort options for my height and weight. 5 stars!

In general, people who work in ergonomics are good folks, but even so, Nick and Annada at ErgoDirect rise above the field as one of the most patient and thoughtful sales teams I've ever worked with. They really care about your well-being and finding you the perfect chair. They have a surprisingly large number of demo chairs available to try out, and those chairs have a wide range of customization options, so you're guaranteed to find something that works. The quality of the chairs is much higher than the big names like Herman Miller, Steelcase, and Haworth. Those big companies have the capital to produce products quickly and invest in the most modern e-commerce solutions, but they miss the most important component which is to make great chairs. The smaller companies may not have the fanciest website, but the quality and value of their chairs is much higher. Let my extensive research and leg work to find a great place to buy a chair be of benefit to you; there is no need for you to repeat the effort: go see Nick and Annada at ErgoDirect, you'll be happy that you did.

Excellent customer service! I contacted Ergodirect looking for some spare parts for an old monitor arm thinking they were the manufacturer (they weren't) and Christina graciously worked with me to identify which part I needed and contacted the actual manufacturer on my behalf to see what they could do. Turns out they still have exactly what I needed and offered to send it to me directly along with a few extra spares, at no charge and without having to go dig out an old receipt--they just wanted to help make a customer happy. I am thrilled to keep these mounts from ending up in the dump and will be keeping them on my short-list for monitor arms and the other accessories they sell.

ErgoDirect has impressed me. They create these amazing ergonomic chairs but not only that, they also build them to your specific size. I am 5'0" and most chairs are designed for taller people. I was excited to find a chair with all the features, options and customizability. In addition, their customer service knocked it out of the park. A representative reached out to me upon receiving my order to make sure that I was ordering the correct cylinder size and the correct arm rests based on my size. They were patient while I took measurements and thoughtful to get all parameters including my desk height. I was blown away by their customer service, thought and care with my order.My order was prompt and delivered before promised. Wanted to share a great customer experience I had with ErgoDirect, especially with Nick and Daniel.I ordered an ergonomic chair for my back pain and when the chair was delivered, I realized it was in the wrong color. ErgoDirect then provided a prompt response to my issue and scheduled a replacement to be delivered. Their customer service was very professional and timely. When I got the replacement received, it was not what I had expected and we had to schedule another replacement delivery (this was the manufacture's error again). The situation was a bit tricky but both Nick and Daniel went the extra mile to make things work and to make sure that I received the chair that I had ordered.While the experience of having 3 different sets of replacement wasn't too pleasant, I really appreciated all of the efforts that Nick and Daniel have put in to make things right. I will certainly order from ErgoDirect again for my next purchases.Thank you Nick and Daniel!

The desk is very easy to raise and lower, and has significantly reduced the time I spend sitting down at work. Due to my setup, I might recommend the monitor mounts since I don't have much desk space remaining.
