I recently purchased a pristine 2011, M-Benz CL63-AMG, from C&C Export Car Center in San Carlos and I can say, without hesitation, that this was the best experience I've ever enjoyed in buying a used car. I had been looking for this particular model of M-Benz for some time, and there are not alot of clean, low-mileage examples out there. I arranged an appointment and upon seeing the car for the first time, it was everything that Roy had described over the phone...an absolute "gem" with just over 31K miles, super clean and, in the words of my personal mechanic, "a solid example, both mechanically and cosmetically." Roy, Rashad and John are the nicest, friendliest and most professional team I've ever dealt with...no "used car sales vibe" here. Their inventory is top-notch and they know their business. Roy encouraged me to get a "Pre-Purchase Inspection," (which I did) and was kind enough to adjust the price so I could take care of the one minor cosmetic flaw I wanted addressed. I've owned numerous classic and exotic cars over the years -- the majority of which were used -- and often times, it can become rather contentious sorting out 'the details.' Dealing with Roy and his team was actually quite enjoyable and from now on, if I'm in the market for another used car, I'll look no further than C&C Export Car Center. If they don't have what you're looking for, believe me, they can find it! Charles "Bud" Syme

Don’t buy from Roy. He is deceitful and had very little knowledge of the car he was selling. Said he didn’t know much about the car because his son drove the car more often than he did. Really?! You’re supposed to be a car dealership.AVOID C&C Export Car Center in San Carlos. Spend your money somewhere else.

I had to the pleasure to do business with Roy and his son Rachad (recent Santa Clara grad..congrats!). Father and son team always a special place for me when doing business because I am dealing with the owners...Rachad being the heir apparent. My van purchase went very smoothly and the quality of their offering was superb. Roy is a straight shooter (inside joke Roy...Roy has cc license)..but seriously he is very easy to deal with and very honest as well. I hope to continue to look to Roy first when growing my fleet of vans because I need quality and good pricing. Thanks again Roy and Rachad for all your help.

Roy was very helpful with my car purchase. Super friendly had all the documentation for the car. I was missing a piece of plastic for the trim,Roy ordered the part for me and he even put it on too. The prices on his cars are very good. I will be buying all my cars from this place moving forward, after this buy I don't even want to deal with the dealerships anymore.

I bought a vehicle from Sunny over 4 years ago. I experienced the same service that the other 1-star reviews mentioned - bad attitude, no test driving unless COMMITTED to buy, nobody on the lot, lots of waiting around, etc. I noticed a few issues on the test drive but ended up buying because at the time I thought it was a good deal. After spending almost the same amount of money as I bought the vehicle for to rebuild the engine *AND* transmission as well as other maintenance that was not performed I have learned that Sunny most likely has a shady friend with a SMOG station that clears engine fault codes and gives them passing grades even when their engine block is cracked and is leaking coolant and oil into the exhaust. The biggest red flag I should have seen is that Sunny was using a Land Cruiser to tow vehicles around the Bay Area (including from the Auctions he buys broken vehicles at). I now believe that he was initially using my truck to tow these vehicles and completely ruined the transmission doing that before switching to a Land Cruiser that he had found. If you do decide that it's worth the HUGE risk of buying a vehicle here, do your research, pay for a mechanic to inspect the vehicle and DO NOT DENY THE policy that allows you to take back the vehicle within 48 hours or whatever it was.

I needed a commute car, but being old, fat and lazy, I wanted a car that was reliable, comfortable, rode well, and would not require lots of side trips to the mysterious world of car repair. Roy put me into a car that matched my needs, but his straightforward and honest dealing exceeded my expectations. He and his brother and son are all first class gentlemen.

This was our best car buying experience ever! Roy has been amazing. Honesty is key when buying a used vehicle & that is exactly what Roy has been, he pointed out issues that we wouldn't have even known about. After he found out the car was for our 16 year old son, he wanted to make sure everything was very safe & reliable as he has young sons as well. Roy has gone above & beyond our expectations. We have never been treated this good when buying a vehicle & we will definitely buy here again. This is a family run business & they treated us with respect, honesty & kindness. Great job Roy & John!
