worst bank ever, big warning, if you deposit money at the bank, it’s going to be very difficult to withdraw it as there is way too much paperwork, people are not at the bank to handle it and Will make you jump through every hoop to get your money. So far, I don’t have my money yet, and I spent at least five hours, Including going to the . Worse yet if you initiate an online transfer, they can cancel it. That is my experience, They play every game in the book and these people play dirty. It’s not the bank will allow you to sleep at night and if you do bank with them expect to spend a lot of extra time getting things done. I don’t mean a little extra time, I mean a lot of extra time than you normally would with your more reputable bank.

This is literally the WORST bank in the history of banks. It's very hard to determine what funds you have available. Customer service is usually unable to help you because the company is such a mess. The app locks you out without the ability to get back in. We're talking for MONTHS. I've been locked out for months. My husband was somehow able to get back in, but man. This company is bad.

I opened a credit card online last month. The process took 2 weeks rather than 48 hours like most institutions. After one billing cycle, I wanted to set up "Auto Pay" so I don't have to worry about missing any due date and payments. Autopay setup requires receiving a text message. I realized that I had to update my mobile number. I went to update my number then I was instructed on the website to call customer support. To my surprise, this simple process has taken 4 calls to customer support, a call to a manager, and still, they can not update a "phone number"; therefore I can not set up an "AutoPay" that simple. Can anyone believe in 2021 a bank system is not able to update your phone number? The final solution they offered me was to find a branch and do it there. Terrible customer service that doesn't know their job, the supervisor that lied to me. My experiences with the following institutions (CITI, CHASE, US BANK, CHASE, BARCLAYS, ...) been good ------- BBVA being the worst. The bottom line: Stay away from the credit department of this bank at least they are way behind in the game with their services and terrible management that won't do anything about it. Just read similar complaints from other customers.

Truly a disappointing experience dealing with the credit card department over the phone. This bank is not professional in that they hire people that have communication and language barriers. I don't mind strong accents but they simply do not train their staff properly and the efficiency is terrible. On hold forever and then when the representative comes online they are incompetent at best and incoherent. Avoid the hassle and frustration and bank elsewhere if you can is my candid feedback.

This bank is HORRIBLE.. took me 2 days to get online banking setup which included 2 of their reps hanging up on me.. Man stay far away from this establishment. Worst customer service ive ever experienced in dealing with a bank.. how are they still in business? Wont be long before their history with that type of customer service...

Don't stop in if you don't already have an account. They apparently are not interested in new relationships.

BBVA has a terrible customer service line. They don’t hire people that speak English clearly and they keep you on hold for over 30 minutes for some basic questions. This bank clearly lacks Staff training and respect for clients time. I won’t bank here nor recommend them to anyone at this time.

They are the worst BBVA visa! Tried to cancel a lost credit card. Gave them my social security number; cell and home number; last two payments made; last 3 charges and these people still can't cancel my card and reissue another even though I have been able to verify with the same info previously. I was hung up on twice by Euseboi. I can't wait to cancel my account. I have been a loyal member for years! They are horrible!!!

I give bbva compass for being the worst bank that has ever existed. Customer service is rude, they hang up on you, they say that you are cursing at them when your not. just so they can say that's why they hung up on you. They post payments to the account then go and reverse the charges saying that is when the payment posted and reverse all the other payments that have already posted. Then reaply all the payments back cause you to be charge NSF after NSF. Leaving you to drown when other bills need to be paid but now cant pay them cause your in the negative. they say they post payments in real time but when it comes to deposits they will not post that in real time. WHY? so they can charge you more nsf fees. Why hasn't bbva been investigated after reading bad review after bad review. why isnt anyone looking after the small people like us who are being robbed. I have never dealt with a bank who is just self center on themselves and care about how much money they can rob from people like us. I will make sure more reviews get written and hopefully one day bbva Compass will go down for doing wrong to their customers. The only reason you are getting a star is cause I have to put one. But bbva compass you deserve .

This is a horrible bank that does nothing but add fees and finds loopholes so they can charge you fees! I went to the bank for a service and asked if I would be charged! I was told "no" and then 2 weeks later I was charged an incoming wire and outgoing wire amount! I specifically asked if I would be charged and I still got charges, weeks later! I called the 1800 number and I was the one that was blamed! I was charged negative fees a week before and again I was blamed when my notifications didn't go off. This bank makes you to blame all the time! No one care about you at this bank! They care about charging you fees and making sure you struggle! I beat if I had a different financial background I wouldn't be charges fees. But to be a struggling single mom, they will do everything to make things harder! I have done exactly what this bank said to do to keep my finances to stable with setting up notifications, check my account daily but no one of it matters because they will find a way to add fees! Don't use this bank! If you are a harding working, low maintenance lifestyle, live on a budget or anything that they can prey on, this isn't the bank fo you! They don't care about you! They care about taking your money!

Don't do it! Worst credit card company in the country. They offer a 0% interest rate credit card for a few months, like many other credit card companies. But, until you sign up, you don't realize that they don't accept electronic payments. If you pay your credit card bill online, they force your bank to print an actual check and mail it. On top of that, their "system" takes a full week to "process" this check after it comes in the mail. This means that your payment is always late. Once it is even a few days late (mine was 3 days), they immediately close your account and report your card as "closed by company due to late payment" on your credit report.

I thought I was getting a savings and checking with no monthly fees, but you they still charged me 5 dollars per month even though I opted out of both checking and savings paper statements. The person who set me up for my accounts kept telling me I was good to go, and there would be no charges. They keep calling weekly to sell me something, and were quite unprofessional. When I tried to close the account, they just gave me my money and I find that they never closed the accounts so they kept charging 5 per month. Worse company I have ever dealt with probably on par with Wells Fargo.
