She asked what was wrong with our current oven and who we had diagnosing the problem. Immediately she got on the phone and gave us 3 names to try 1 last time to get it fixed. She said if this doesn't work then come back and we can look at a new oven. Her recommendation fixed our oven! It's hard to find a genuine sales person looking out for your best interest and we were so lucky to find Renee.”

“I needed a specific refrigerator. I called Appliance, talk to Shaun on the phone, he had it in stock and he could deliver it that day. Is delivery guys are up, and he delivered it to me that afternoon personally. This was for a tenant whose refrigerator went out so time is important. Was very satisfied with that.

Next day, another refrigerator went out he secured one for me, and delivered it through his guys and they came on time and took it to a second floor and took the old refrigerator away. I don’t get this kind of service from any other appliance store I deal with. And I will never deal with Airport Appliance again unless I really have to. They’re awful.”

“After dealing with a flood in a two unit building my family and I were faced with a forced renovation of two kitchens. After visiting several showrooms in the Bay Area, we decided to have Sincere Home Décor at the South San Francisco location design both kitchen cabinet layouts. We worked with Senior Designer and Sales Associate, Allison Li and we were extremely pleased by her friendly demeanor, quick response, and expertise in helping us put our two kitchens back together. Below is the incredible service we received from Allison: a. She walked us through each step of the process and really put us at ease during a very stressful renovation. b. My contractor was not familiar with the installation of the cove crown molding and cabinet base molding. Allison took the time to send photographs and included instructions on the installation. c. She has incredible attention to detail. For example, our refrigerator placement was next to a wall. Allison made sure there was enough space/clearance for the refrigerator doors to open at full width for the interior refrigerator drawers to fully pull out without the doors being in the way. d. She explained how to adjust the drawers and provided photographs. The visuals helped tremendously. e. She helped me when I had some issues with my cabinetry and worked with me through the process until it was resolved with the manufacturer. For example, my spice rack was not closing correctly. Allison worked quickly to contact the company and they sent the replacement parts to fix it. She also had her managers assist with adjusting the drawer itself when I brought it into the showroom. f. Her manager, Phil, assisted with providing documentation requested by the insurance company. When it came time to purchase our quartz countertops and hood vent, my family and I did not hesitate to purchase them from Sincere Home Décor. We received the same quality of customer service. Selecting the countertops was easily done at their Oakland warehouse and the installation by Ken was great. There were also plenty of hood vent options to select from and a simple process to order. My family and I are grateful for the excellent customer service that Allison and the entire staff at Sincere Home Décor provided to us. We highly recommend them if you are doing a kitchen remodel.”

“We’re a family-owned ice cream shop in Bremerton, WA, located at the ferry terminal. A few years back, we purchased an Oscartek display case because of their reputation for quality and design. The machine looks great — but within a couple years, we had multiple issues: thermostat failure, two compressors going out, and a complete shutdown just before the 4th of July.

“Purchased the ILG8SF12V-ST - iLIVING 12" Shutter Exhaust Fan with Thermospeed controller.I am IMPRESSED at how efficiently this unit works. Installation was easy and everything worked as described. What really impresses me is at the low fan speed how efficient this unit moves air. Standing inside the shed with fan on low and doors closed, after about a minute I could feel significant airflow moving towards the fan. The next day the temps were in the 90’s and humid…opened the shed doors around 2pm and was astounded at how nice the temps were versus the outside. I did widen the vent on the opposite end of the shed (10'x12') to its maximum size. Highly recommend this appliance…works BETTER than advertised.”

Throughout all of our successes and some of our "oh shit ! " moments. Home Depot in San Mateo has been right along side us. They've never given us grief with a legitimate issue and they've always been polite , prompt and friendly. Todays Yelp is a direct result of an interaction that my wife and I had with Steve in the return department. He may not remember me but I remember him from several prior interactions with him over the last two years. Steve is polite , friendly , articulate and genuinely kind and helpful. We had made a serious mistake and bought a very expensive item that was essentially entirely useless to us once we discovered our blunder. I was so relieved to see Steve at the counter. He didn't make a big fuss about our return or ask a bunch of questions to force us to admit that we'd screwed up. (We did. ..) he didn't "oh I need a manager for this .." or act like we were doing something shady. (It seems to me that these days most retailers make the act of an exchange or a refund feel like you're committing retail fraud. It's icky out there folks !!!). Nope. Steve honored the spirit of Home Depot's policy and he helped us fix our blunder quickly and efficiently with a solution that was acceptable and let us feeling valued as a customer. Service like he delivered took away a touch of the angst and anxiety that I have been almost constantly feeling for two years. I might even sleep a little tonight. Thanks Steve !! I hope someone at Home Depot reads this and gives you a bonus or a raise. At the least a cookie !! I appreciated being treated like a human being.”
