Contacted Abstract after a recent window installation from another company went totally awry. Spoke with Dimitar on the phone and explained my situation and was looking for a second opinion on the installation. Without hesitation, Dimitar offered to come by my house on his way home after work and look at the other company's installation and offer me suggestions. He knew full well his visit wasn't going to generate revenue for him but came by anyway and gave me a bunch of things to think about. He is super knowledgeable, kind, and someone who in hindsight, had I known about him, would have been great to work with on my window project. Strongly recommend if you are looking for new windows that he be your first stop!

The best contractor I've worked so far in the Bay Area, there's a reason why this company is Diamond certified. Dimitar, owner, went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the installation and most importantly, making sure all work was done properly to pass inspection.
Our city inspectors tend to overpick and make things difficult for contractors so I really appreciate Dimitars patience in this whole process. My new Milgard windows are great, and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience with this company. Highly recommend Abstract windows if you need new windows for your home.

I used Abstract Windows to do a retrofit replacement from the original 30yr old aluminum windows to new fiberglass windows from Milgard. Alessandro came out and reviewed all windows and happily answered all my questions. For the final measurement Dimitar and Alessandro explained that 2 large windows couldn't be done as retrofit and let me easily remove that from quote since I didn't want new construction right now. Their pricing was very competitive. The windows were ready when the said and they installed 11 windows in 1/2 day. Everything was so professional and now the house is so much quieter that we cannot hear when the delivery truck pulls up for packages. So nice. Windows look great and modern. I highly recommend using them for replacing windows.

I would highly recommend Abstract Windows. I replaced sliding doors with a French door. Dimitar responded to my call very quickly and came to my house to evaluate the project. He was very informative and went through the measurements of the door and was very thorough on what the Job entailed. On the day of installation, his team did a great job all the way. They left the area very clean and the quality of their work was great.

Dimitar is very experienced and responsive. I contacted him about the leak in one of the windows and he picked up the phone immediately every time. He also is very professional and helpful. Instead of pushing me to replace the window, he offered to come to my house to look at the windows. He also offered me alternative option. I eventually took the alternative option he recommended based on the calculated risk that I am taking. He immediately sent his workers over the next day. They recaulked the inside and outside of the window and got the job done within an hour. Dimitar also helped me to take out the window screen so I could take them to the screen shop for replacement. When I mentioned I have difficulty transporting the screens, he offered to help and pick up the screens and put them back in the windows for me. Dimitar by far is the most responsive and pleasant person to deal with. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs help with window replacement.

Dimitar at Abstract Windows was highly recommended by a neighbor who had Abstract Windows replace all their windows and sliding glass doors. This winter, I relied on Dimitar to replace a tricky awning window in my second-story master bathroom. He was able to match the windows required by the HOA, and his installation was done right. This Spring, the lock on my Milgard Patio sliding glass door broke. Replacing the door would cost about $4,000. Getting exactly the right locking parts and screws from a Milgard parts catalog was not easy. Dimitar persisted. One month later, Dimitar arrived with exactly the right parts and was able to install the new locking handle and screws in 15 minutes. I highly recommend Dimitar and Abstract Windows.

Abstract Windows is a great company to do business with! The workers are highly skilled professionals, efficient, responsive, schedule promptly, and show up on time. Dimitar set expectations with us on budget and timeline and completed the project on time and within budget. Materials used are high quality and the workmanship is excellent. A very pleasant no-hassle experience. We are very happy with the services provided and are enjoying our beautiful windows and doors! I found these guys as sun contractors through Lowes. They did and excellent job installing new windows and sliding glass door in my 1950s construction Bernal Heights home. Initial installation was professional and punctual and they even spent considerable time troubleshooting a leak on the sliding glass door several years later. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Dimitar and his crew installed our new Pella windows we purchased by Lowe's. They were great!They were very good at communicating with us, professional, knowledgeable, and showed pride of their craftsmanship. They did their job well, on time, and cleanly.Over the years, we redid all our windows through Lowe's and Abstract Windows were by far the best of all the installers!

Dimitar and his crew were AMAZING!! We had a tricky install and they did a creative and meticulous job. We own a 100 year old Spanish bungalow with two very large picture windows in the front. No one makes the same arched shape anymore so Dimitar came up with a very creative solution to preserve the old, beautiful moldings and fill in the gaps seamlessly. I highly recommend them!!

We have 4 windows which need to be replaced. I called Abstract Windows and Dimitar came over, and gave me an offer. We decided to do the window with Abstract. It turned out that they did really nice job. First, we particularly like his team arrived on time and finished the job in high quality. Secondly, when they found the window in living room has a minor problem (The window is in locked position, but the handle bar did not show it is locked). Even though it is a manufacture issue, Dimitar arranged his technician came over and fixed the problem. The installation of new windows are done in high quality. We appreciate the great job by Abstract Window's crew.

Dimitar and the crew from Abstract Windows did a great job installing three windows and three sliding glass doors in our townhouse. Dimitar came over a few weeks before the job to look at everything and answer our questions. He also came one day during the installation to see how it was going. One of the original doors was wider than it needed to be, so we ordered a smaller door and the team built up a wall on both sides. We have a patio outside this door, and it had to be taken apart for the door installation. Another crew came yesterday to rebuild the patio, and made sure to caulk and add a moisture barrier. The living room window that was replaced was narrow, and a second Dimitar and the crew made sure the top of the window lined up with the top of the door. The kitchen windows needed a scaffold to be reached, and Abstract Windows supplied it. The crew laid down tarps in the house and did a great job cleaning up at the end of the day. We really appreciate their professionalism and care! Eventually we plan to replace our bedroom windows and would definitely use Abstract Windows again.

In the middle of COVID, my wife and I bought a fixer upper. Dimitar and his team replaced approximately 30 windows and 2 large sliding doors in the home. I am extremely happy with the work they did and their customer service. They did an excellent job installing the windows and doors. His crew was efficient and clearly communicated how the installation process was going. Dimitar himself was patient, explaining the process and what to expect during installation. He also facilitated the permitting process for us. A month after installation, one of the balancers on the window failed. Dimitar came to my home and fixed it immediately, instead of having to wait on the manufacturer warranty. I highly recommend abstract windows.
