My experience with Robert was awesome, highly recommend choosing A+ Japanese Auto Repair. They don't try to upsell you and instead focus on making sure that you are taken care of and stay within your budget. Two thumbs up!

Quoted me an extra $250 to change my cabin and air filters which is $20 in parts and a few minutes of work. I said no. Also quoted me tires that were way above the price I can get at other places. Their report was thorough but I don't trust they are trying to get me the best deal. Also they reported the wrong milage to Carfax. And that can't be changed for 2 years apparently.

I happened to drive by A+ Japanese Auto Repair yesterday afternoon and remembered all the great reviews I had read about them, so I decided to stop and make an appointment. Once there, I realized it was already after their closing time, so I was going to come back next week, but then Justin walked up to my car and asked if he could help answer any questions.
I explained that I wanted to schedule a maintenance check of my 2008 Honda Fit since I had recently noticed one of my headlight was out, so I would have it all done at once. Justin looked at my service sticker and determined I had another 1000 miles before the next one was due. But then he said, "Come back tomorrow morning so we can fix the headlight while you wait.."
I hesitated to make a commitment for the next day, since it was my birthday, but realized it would be good to take care of the issue so I could start driving at dark again. Therefore, I came back this morning and they fixed it for me while I was waiting! Super convenient and so accommodating... and when I was ready to pay, Justin said it was a birthday gift! What a great surprise!!! ❤️
I will definitively be back as I'm wholeheartedly agreeing with all those people who are impressed with A+ Japanese Auto Repair. Thank you, Justin! ?

Quite luxurious for a car maintenance shop. Free car ride to/from the shop, snazzy comms platform (automated text notifications, account portal where you can see reports with photos / comments), instantly accessible sales staff even at late hours in the evening, no wait to get an appointment, & easter egg perks stemming from partnerships with other businesses. It's on the pricey side, but these are services that can be worth paying for if you are short on time and want to prioritize convenience / excellent customer service.
Only downside is that inspections take an entire day before you can even figure out what work needs to be done. You drop-off the car first thing in the morning and get a call in the afternoon on recommended service. Also, sometimes I get a sales-y vibe from the front desk staff walking me through optional services, but again, if you want all the bells and whistles, this could be a perk not an annoyance.

I've heard about A+ Japanese auto Repair from my co-worker and decided to bring in my 2007 Honda Odyssey because of signs of aging,,, and I'm glad that I did and Justin was very helpful and his suggestions are top notch,,, I very much appreciated their work on my van and had it run smoothly,,, like it had a new lease of life,,, though it still have a lot of work to be done but I'll wholly entrust my family van's care to A+ Auto Repair. Thanks Justin and I appreciate all your help and resolving my auto repair issues.

I asked for three items and was forced to do entire check of the vehicle, which doesn't sound bad (to see in what shape the car is). After getting fixed what I asked for and get delay another day I was told that there are two major issues with the vehicle and that means one of the service already done (wheel alignment) needs to be done again! Also this info come right before picking up the vehicle, so no time to fix it. Friendly people, they probably spend more time on call with me than on the car. Little bit strange to get only 5000mils before next oil change.

My main gripe was how long it took. I was originally told that my seasonal maintenance check-up was going to be 4 hours. I dropped it off at 7:40 AM and picked it up around 4:40 PM, meaning I waited 9 hours, which really threw off my day, and waited an additional 20 minutes after arriving at the time I was told for pick up. The check up seemed thorough but settings on my car were changed (dashboard display, mirror movement for park assistance, etc), adding to my frustration. Friendly staff but would not come again. If you go, just know your car will be there all day.

Went in to do a general service for my car and they always do a very detailed breakdown of the health of your car (from great condition to needs to be addressed soon). They accompany these detailed breakdowns with pictures and explanations to show why they are in the red “needs repair” area. Customer service is always very responsive and kind with prices that are fairly competitive at other repair locations. I would highly recommend their service for anyone.

First time with A+, they include photos of each inspection area including the devices to measure/gauge parts of my van. The transparency is awesome to see!
Michael was thorough and concise with going over my cars inspection while communicating timeframes clearly for completion of the work done.
Mechanics provided detailed notes for each inspection, noting specific details that I missed while inspecting the car prior to purchase.
Amazing shop team with good vibes! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a shop to work with.
