This guy was worst. I called for a quote... nothing more. He instantly got defensive for some reason. He questioned whether the part I was asking about was the correct one to replace(I'm looking at the broken part) and refused to give me a quote at all. Extremely rude, horrible customer service. I'm surprised anyone stays on the phone long enough to do business here, I hung up mid lecture

I've been going to Simon for years and I finally found someone I can trust. He is radically honest and will tell you what the car needs and what it doesn't. I don't ever feel I'm getting gouged like I was with past mechanics.

I am new-ish to the area and hadn't found a mechanic yet. I found 880 Auto Works on Google and called Simon for a second opinion after a different auto shop wanted $1,200+ for brake replacements on my Lexus. After assessing my vehicle, Simon let me know that the back brakes needed replacement but the front brakes weren't critical, but would need to be replaced within a couple of months. After deciding to go ahead and get it all done at once, I had a full replacement of brake pads and rotors on all wheels in 3 hours and for $400 less than the shop down the street. I really appreciated Simon's honesty and consideration to my budget. As a female who doesn't generally trust mechanics, I would highly recommend Simon.

Simon is the best! I always go here, he's very honest, and doesn't overcharge. I have a Prius, and he's been fixing my car and doing oil changes for years.

Simon is absolutely the friendliest mechanic I have ever met. I don't know what the other reviews are talking about! Simon answered all of my questions thoroughly. My car battery had a lot of erosion and it eroded away my terminal ports. I took my car to Honda and Honda gave me a very high quote and said it will take 5 days for it to get fixed. I took it to Simon, and he was charging half the price of Honda and fixed it in one day!!

Amazing. I travelled from LA to SF and got stucked in mud. The car shaked terribly after being pulled out of the mud. Simon fixed it in a monday morning. Simon is friendly and he pays precise attention to details when you talk to him.

if you're running a business, know how to respond to customer inquiry. When in a hurry, left out a few details on the make and his response was, "good question, is that an airplane?" Should be called 880 A**hole works
