This is our first year at Stratford School. My daughter is in Pre K. She is very shy, but eager to attend school. She cried a few times, but the friendly staff, nice classmates, and welcoming environment helped to ease her into getting acclimated in a school environment. Today I'm proud to say that she looks forward to going to school. Thank you Stratford School and caring staff. Keep up the good work!

I am a kid and I didn't like the school because all the teachers were absolutely terrible at teaching, and they had litterally no experience. This is a good campus, it is quite big but I didn't like it.

Our child attended Stratford Crestmoor Campus in San Bruno. The school is a great space with lots of room for the students. The COVID protocol is also very good and the administration provides good communication including emails and newsletters to parents. The school also uses the ProCare App which is wonderful for parents that are transitioning their children to school for the first time. She attended the Pre-Kindergarten class with Ms. Lauren Douthit and Ms. Allison Rockey. These teachers are worth every penny! They work so hard to create a positive and still challenging classroom environment for these young brains. They are so accommodating and fluid to each child's needs and adapt so well to each child's learning styles. They also make such a BIG effort to learn all the different personalities of each child. The school also has an on-site Spanish teacher, Mr. Carlos, Science teacher, Ms. Veronica and music teacher, Ms. Frida. They are all wonderful!

Stratford Crestmoor is an absolutely amazing school! If you're a parent considering enrolling your child in Stratford, specifically this San Bruno location, please feel free to read my honest and personal experience below. As a first time parent (and some of you may relate), I get super nervous over my child's every development, so preschool is a BIG deal! Honestly I was not in a rush to enroll her in school during such unprecedented and uncertain times of covid. All the stars would have to line up for me to make this decision and thankfully it did! Very important note, I've toured a handful of other preschools and 4 Stratford campuses (Crestmoor, De Montford, Parkside, and 14th - Yes I'm that crazy mom! Haha). I ended up choosing Crestmoor and here were what initially attracted me: 1. They have a designated security guard! Safety is one of my biggest concerns and seeing they have someone securing the entrance gives me the peace of mind. 2. They have a parking lot for preschool pick ups and drop offs. I want to be able to walk my daughter to class without stress. 3. Lastly, Director Teresa! The moment I met her I knew I can trust her management. She honestly makes Crestmoor Stratford, Stratford. You can see the passion in her eyes and feel the love she has for kids. Even during the tour she knew every kid by name. Teresa is an absolutely amazing Director and the soul of Crestmoor Stratford. Now that my daughter has been a member of Stratford for quite some time, here are my additional feedbacks: -They have an absolute applauding safety policy for covid! They follow very strict guidelines and it's really important during this time. -Communication, communication, communication. They have superb communication, whether that's sending weekly emails on classroom materials, daily classroom picture updates through Procare, parent teacher conferences, or calling you if any accidents has taken place - big or small. -The teachers are absolute angels. Thanks Ms. Joniqua and Ms. Vanessa! -Their curriculum is amazing. My daughter has developed so much since school. -They include numerous multicultural activities/events. -They make you feel like one big family! I hope you may find this review helpful. Quite lengthy, but I hope I've added some insights to specific things and people that makes Stratford Crestmoor so great.

I highly recommend Stratford school. We have seen our child's develop increase tremendously. They do an excellent job at handling Covid protocols keeping our children safe and parents at all times. I love the fact that they have security directing traffic and guarding the entrance as well at all times. The curriculum plan and the subjects comprising course of studies is academically very strong. Stratford schools offer excellent communication with the parents throughout the day using their app Procare so we feel apart what's going on through the day.

My daughter has been attending Stratford School - San Bruno since K. Our family absolutely love the experience. All the teachers she had were great. She made great friends over the years. All the families are nice too. Both elementary principles are so helpful and we felt like they are always there for the families no matter what problems we might run into. The curriculum is more advanced than public school and they do offer different after-school club options. During Covid, they have virtual and in-person options and it is great for families which have different needs. The campus is nice and in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. Overall we are very happy with the school and will be enroll our little one here too !

This review is for Ms. Brianna's online class and Ms. Lauren's in-person summer school. In order to protect high-risk individuals at home, we decided to drop out of our previous preschool and enroll in Stratford's online preschool program for the 2020-2021 school year. We were skeptical of virtual learning for a 3-year-old, but Ms. Brianna put those doubts to rest very quickly. She was warm, engaging, and an absolutely joy to be around even virtually. We also appreciated our monthly kits, which Ms. Brianna filled with supplies and goodies personalized to each child's tastes whenever possible. Under Ms. Brianna's guidance, our son blossomed not only academically but also emotionally as he learned how to take turns speaking, engage with others confidently, and keep himself relatively on-task with only verbal instructions. We subsequently enrolled our child for Stratford's in-person summer learning this summer due to the resounding success that was the school year, and we are thus far extremely impressed with Ms. Lauren's energy level, kindness, and transparency in terms of keeping us updated and allaying our concerns. We feel so fortunately to attend Stratford during this strange time.

I love the school and everyone that works here. My twin boys enrolled to the preschool since January. We were so worried about the boys because they always stick with me at home. Now it is going on 4 months...I have nothing to worry but good things to say. My boys love their teacher Ms Isa. They are so comfortable to be with her. They listen to her and give her hugs. They always mention her name to me when they came home. I feel that Ms Isa is the second mother to my boys at school. She is so patient and show such love and care to the kids. She knows how to comfort them when they are upset. She knows how to cheer them up when they are too quiet. She knows how to communicate with them when they don't know how to express their feelings. My boys wouldn't adapt school so quickly without her love and care. Ms Isa is the best teacher ever! Stratford has a very clean and safe environment, has a high curriculum, and the teachers are absolutely amazing. Everything about it is great! I highly recommend Stratfford!

Stratford School-Crestmoor Campus has exceeded our expectations and I am thrilled that we decided to enroll our daughter at this school. Our daughter has attended their fully online preschool program for the last 9 months and their curriculum and attention to detail is nothing short of outstanding. From the carefully crafted curriculum and monthly school supply kits to the teacher (Ms. Brianna, who is legitimately one of the most gifted teachers I have ever met), Stratford School ensured they delivered an exceptional educational experience for the children studying online. While one might assume that online learning for a toddler is short of impossible, Stratford and Ms. Brianna made sure each activity was engaging and to our surprise, all the children met their educational milestones and then some. The days were a healthy and reasonable balance between live virtual instruction and offline breaks for free play and lunch/nap. Ms. Brianna and the administrative team made sure that we felt equipped to support our students both online and offline by providing weekly curriculum calendars so that we were informed as well as optional offline activities to enhance learning (and all supplies were provided by the school). Parents also had the option to have weekly conferences with Ms. Brianna to discuss any concerns. My daughter recently turned 3 and she began reading just prior to her third birthday and has begun basic subtraction...all because of Stratford's online program. Not to mention that she has developed a love for science and has learned concepts like evaporation and artificial light! I can only imagine all of the amazing academic adventures she will have when she returns to campus in the fall and we cannot wait to see what she learns next. Thank you, Stratford and Ms. Brianna!

This review is long overdue. Our daughter first went to Stratford for the pre-school, after having been in a highly rated Montessori school for a few months which was mainly play-based, and we were concerned that she learned nothing. For the two and a half years that our daughter had been in Stratford pre-school, we're extremely impressed by their well-rounded and adequately challenging curriculum. It's very gratifying to hear her coming back home excitedly talking about water-cloud cycle, caterpillar-butterfly lifecycle (and releasing butterflies that they raised from caterpillars), or see her mimicking paintings from Picasso who's Artist of the Month, in addition to seeing her thriving in a strong academic program. After that per our original plan, our daughter went to our local public elementary school for kindergarten as my wife hoped that she could have more neighborhood friends. However, despite having great school administrators and wonderful teachers in the public elementary school, they are constrained by the school curriculum. First of all, with the short school hours, all they had were basic reading, writing, some math - all that our daughter learned a couple of years ago in Stratford pre-school. There was no science, no social studies, and for the whole semester, they had two or three after-school art classes taught by volunteer parents. We were so concerned about her lack of motivation, so unlike her enthusiasm at Stratford pre-school, that we transferred her back to Stratford in the middle of the school year. And now like before, she's happy, seems intellectually challenged, and surprisingly motivated to do her homework which she hasn't had before. We are again very impressed by Stratford's curriculum, as well as a very caring and wonderful teacher Ms. Rigor who discussed providing reading materials that align with our daughter's progress during our parent-teacher conference, an inspiring Principal Ms. Garrone who is extremely attentive and responsive to students and parents (and our daughter loves them both), and a very helpful office administrator Ms. Tannous. We are so glad that we went back to Stratford!

Our son, who is four, went to three different preschools in 2020 at the age of three, the latter in November of 2020 at Stratford when he turned four. Our experiences in the other preschools lacked in acknowledging the potential of our child, and addressing the safety of the pandemic. Since attending Stratford, the care of all of the faculty has surpassed any and all expectations of a preschool and pre-k. Stratford has strictly and gracefully handled the pandemic in the most assuring manner to keep our children safe. Not only is safety a top priority, Stratford keeps our child engaged and enthusiastic about learning. We recently encountered a devastating and traumatic event in our daily life. The level of concern and well-being of our child within the school has been beyond touching and compassionate. Our teacher calls us weekly, as may be the caring ways of the school, but her honesty and genuine love of her students shows with just her voice, without seeing her in person. I don't know how else to convey the respect and gratitude my husband and I feel for this outstanding school! (But before I sign off, the inclusivity and welcoming of diversity of this school is truly admirable as well! Respect of cultures play a huge role in my child's upbringing. Which our teacher Lauren does a wonderful job in incorporating! As well as, Teresa and Donna *name-dropping*)

We switched to Crestmoor Canyon Stratford after a very difficult spring in (previously quite good) public school. Due to the Covid Pandemic, the public school teachers were only required to do two video calls per week of 30 minutes with no teaching at all. Homework was thrown over the fence for parents to get the kids to do. Our son's motivation and enthusiasm fell dramatically and we were worried he would hate school moving forward. It would have been better for us to pull him out entirely. After switching to 2nd grade at Stratford this fall we are super happy with the results. The academics are much stronger, and Ms. Collins is an amazing teacher. The online teaching was far superior, being more organized with well prepared teaching happening and the curriculum is much better. Stratford also communicated very well what was going on and how they would move forward in all scenarios for the virus. We're happy to report our son did much better with the online teaching and is doing great again in person. Overall we are super happy with the results and would make the switch again in a heartbeat. Definitely recommend Stratford.

We moved to Stratford due to a horrible situation at our daycare and were apprehensive and cautious because of what our family (especially the kids) had gone through. Jennifer and Teresa were very sensitive to our situation and made tremendous effort to ensure that we all felt comfortable and safe during and after the transition. Donna was so kind, patient and answered all of our questions. I can honestly say that moving our 3 kids to Stratford was the best thing we could have done for them. We will be eternally grateful to Stratford for everything, but particularly for restoring our faith in the people we trust to care for and teach our children. I would also like to call out what a fantastic job they (Jennifer, Teresa, the teachers, EVERYONE) have done navigating through an almost week-long blackout and the Covid-19 pandemic. They were able to adapt quickly and provide nearly uninterrupted learning during an impossible time--on more than one occasion. I am so impressed with the dedication and professionalism of everyone at Stratford and I just wanted to let everyone know that if you are considering this school for your children, look no further. You won't regret it. My 4th is on his way there in 6 months. Did I mention they accept children as young as 2.5 yo (potty trained) and go up to 5th grade at this campus? The location is convenient and the campus is clean, safe and fun for the kids. I can't say enough about this school and its fabulous staff.

Update from my previous review. I left out some important info from my previous review partly because I was so tired and busy figuring out Plan B and also because we weren't sure if the school would have retaliated on our child during the school year while this was all going on. But to add to my previous review...This school also told us we had 6 weeks for my child to stop crying or else we couldn't return the following year. They told us my child was ready for kindergarten at age 4 due to their readiness test and to find out in a 20 min meeting mid year from the principal, Jennifer Flecher (now Jennifer Garrone) was not just disappointing but heartbreaking to tell my child. I had heard the 2 teachers Ms Jennifer Morales and Emily Milton are not there this year but the principal is and they have made some changes for improvement but sadly it took all of this for them to make this change.

We have two kids at Stratford - San Bruno. Our older son is in PreK and youngest is in Preschool. Overall we have been very happy with the school and believe that its a great environment for our kids. However this comment is meant to celebrate a specific teacher at Stratford - San Bruno. Ms. Brianna was my oldest teacher when he was in preschool and is now teacher to my youngest. I have NEVER, outside of my family, felt more comfortable leaving my kids with a "stranger" (although not so much a stranger anymore). She is kind and beyond loving to all the kids under her care. However beyond that you can tell she loves what she does - and it shows! My kids are lucky to have her as their teacher! THANK YOU THANK YOU Ms. B for being so amazing to my kids!
